I was visiting my elder dad and his shoelaces were untied as he waited for my mom to tie them for him. He tripped into the counter and I said "that's it! No more laced shoes". I went online and bought him these- made well here in America. Safe and sound. Bam .

They feel great. Firm sole but comfortable to walk for a few hours

These shoes are great for people who have problem with lacing their shoes. This has been my third pair. Quality holds up well.

I am an old guy and I wanted a pair of good quality, solid footware that would give me good support and slip resistance for simply walking and doing light chores. I had a pair of shoes that met most of these goals but I was getting sick and tired of having to constantly worry about loose shoe laces not only because of the inconvenience they presented but, more importantly, because of the tripping threat. When you are my age you don't want to add to your chances of falling. I found what I was looking for on line. I had already looked for similar shoes in several stores but couldn't find them. These New Balance shoes fit great and had everything I was looking for. And, I especially liked the set up with the Velcro straps that can be trimmed to avoid catching on things. I put a little polish on them and they buffed up nice. They may not be the flashiest shoes I ever owned but they are solid footware for guys like me. Thanks New Balance!

My son has extra wide feet and hates wearing anything other than slip on type sandals. He has to wear closed toe she's for school. He actually doesn't mind wearing these shoes and says they are very comfortable. These shoes are worth the money.

Im a vet and had a bad foot injury so these are great, good size and great insoles, i could never find another shoe with this width and quality.

Since a hip replacement, my left leg is 1/2 inch shorter than the right, I must have a solid shoe that can have 1/2 inch spacer fused to the bottom of it and the side of the heel built up. I've been using New Balance shoes since 2010. They hold up well and last for several years before wearing out and needing a replacement (which also has to be modified). Great shoes!

I hesitated to buy shoes on-line as the different brands vary so much. My New Balance shoes were a perfect fit on the first try! I wish they would make more hook-and-loop (velcro) models as these are so easy to put on, especially for senior citizens.I am sure there would be more demand if seniors knew about them.

The shoes were shipped quickly, but unfortunately, the shoes were not a good fit due to swelling around the ankles. I followed the return policy, and the process was easy. The shoes looked sturdy and well made. Thank you for such an easy return policy. I appreciated the phone call from the New Balance representative who followed up. The service and suggestions were excellent!

New Balance is a brand I trust for quality, style and a great price. This shoe is my second pair. My last pair lasted over 4 years. I wear a 13 wide and the shoe fits great on my feet. I chose this shoe for its ease of use and style. I can wear this shoe when I dress up. For walking, it is a very good shoe, comfortable. As I said before, the quality of the shoe is outstanding! I highly recommend this shoe.

I have been using them for years. The black are mainly used in the fall and through the winter months.

I wear these every day for every activity and they hold up . I get at least a year out of a pair before I replace them . The worn ones get used when I'm doing something that would ruin any other shoe like welding or walking in the woods. I'm on my 6th pair with 3 still in reserve for punishing use.

Just great shoes, very comfortable and hold up. They last a long time.
