Due to severe foot problems, this shoe with prescription orthotics enables me to function daily.

a. My Orthopedist cured my aching feet by referring me to New Balance as the only shoes with the appropriate width fit! b. The Velcro clasps add ease to comfort.

Right out of the box - perfect fit and very, very comfortable. I need extra wide shoes and I know can always get them from New Balance.

Very comfortable and convenient. Warm for Winter wear. Good for dress wear.

I use it in my daily activities, and it is a good fit and comfortable.

Finding a well made and comfortable NARROW shoe with velcro is a challenge. Thank you NB!

My husband has been wearing the hook and loop closure of style 928 for a number of years. With the sever spinal degeneration he suffers his doctor instructed us to buy a quality tennis shoe every 6 months. This the first shoe we tried and he has been wearing them ever since.

I always like NB shoes, but they are constantly making design or production changes to otherwise excellent shoes. As another reviewer noted, the upper velcro strap needs to be at least 3/4 inches longer to provide security for orthotic wearers, and the seam on the tongue of the latest lace version was moved 1/2 inch closer to the toe than last year's, creating pressure pain from too many overlapping seams and stitches.

With custom made insoles, they are the only shoes that I wear so that my Charcot is stable. They are shoes that look a little out of place when I am wearing a tux, but keeping the Charcot in check is worth it.

I only wear New Balance; only ones my afo's fit into; and very comfortable, too.

I no longer have to tie shoe strings, particularly when in an airport rushing to catch a flight and tripping on my untied show strings. These shoes are so comfortable with cushioned sides and soles. The sole provides a very secure footing.

I work in construction and am on my feet most of the day. I have worn my first pair for over a year. They still look good ( I am rough on shoes ) and are very comfortable!

I have terrible knees. It's so much easier than trying to tie shoes.

I like the hook and loop version of the 928's because of the convenience of not having to fuss with tying the laces. It's a help with the nerve damage that affects my arms and hands and makes things easier. Same comfort and durability I've come to expect with the laced version is the same with these. These will be my daily use shoes. I bought two pairs so I can switch off every other day.

1. No other manufacturer offers a shoe that is a 16 4e! 2. The straps are great because they are not laces one can trip over. 3. He wears them every single day and they are durable. 4. They don't look antiquated, and are actually quite stylish.

Due to a back fusion I can't tie my shoes without difficulty. The New Balance shoes solved that. And fit and look great!

The joy of learning to tie shoes is only exceeded by the joy of never having to tie them again. Would like to see a velcro affair that would suspend the tongue, thus making doff/don a truly one-handed operation.

The headline says it all. I ordered two different sizes ( 8 Wide & 8 X Wide) returning the size that didn't fit ( 8 Wide). I think the ability to do this is exemplary.

After a few decades in the Marine Corps with the wear and tear on my feet, my Doctor recommended a good walking shoe with a firm base. He also recommended New Balance as the option. Great shoe that keeps me marching along.

I was looking for a pair of shoes to wear around the house that would be comfortable and easy to slip on. This is it! With the straps hooked loosely my foot slides right in and the heal helps them stay on. Great Fit.

I am quite satisfied with all three articles of footware that I recently purchased. I was a little worried about the tennis shoes, since they often vary quite a bit from one time to the next, and it is usually impossible to get the same model a few years hence. However, these fit quite well and I did not have to make a trip to the store after all.

I love the hook and loop no shoe strings makes my life a lot easier to get in and out of my new shoes. Thank you.
