I ordered a half size larger, because I have a 4E wide foot, and they fit very well. When the weather warms up in Spring, I plan to use them as my everyday favorites.I will purchase another pair soon.

Just tested these out in Pisgah NC. They were great for kayaking, swimming, crossing streams, and moderate hiking. Not as good for more intense hiking as they have little ankle support and parts of your foot are still exposed to sharp objects. Overall a solid shoe for what they are intended for. Fairly easy to get on and off. A bit pricey at $100.

I've been wearing Keens for about 15 years. My first pair was a pair of Newports, in green, I think, about a size too big for me (these were 11, I usually wear to). I loved the shoes because I'm in the water a lot. I love the nylon web in the water, the toe protection, the heavy soles, and the bungie lacing. I just got a new set of Newport Hydros (my 8th set of Keens), and the first set I couldn't even get my foot into. The second set I could get on, but required several bad words. The third pair fit tight. This third pair are size 11, the same size that was too big on me 15 years ago (my feet haven't grown in 40 years). Also, my last set of Keets (size 10) the tongue is not attached to the side of the shoe at the opening, but on the newport hydro, it is. This makes a tight fit harder to get into. I think the original newports I owned also allowed for a bigger opening at the top. I would get these a size bigger than usual for you. If you like easy entry sandals, get them 1.5 sizes larger. Other than the size and the tight opening, these are solid shoes, durable water gear, and available in a lot of colors.

I bought these for my son, he is a size 8.5 but needed a 9 in these. He's been wearing Keens for years. They are great sandals. The one complaint I have is that sizing is not as consistent as it should be between styles. Also he has a very high instep and it can be hard to get the sandals on. The blue is just a touch darker than this picture makes it look. The pluses are that the toe box is wide and protective and they wash well. We do miss the red color they've had in past years.

I've had these for 2 weeks now, but I've been wearing Keens for years. I am only disappointed in one way with these shoes, and that is that they stink. They said they are odor resistant, but I cannot take them off in a public setting without feeling embarrassed. This is the only aspect of these shoes that is disappointing, but it is significant.

Our son needed a water shoe with a strap so we looked at Keen shoes. The hydro fit best although it was a bit tight to get the shoe on, especially after a day in sneakers and socks (so sweaty and probably a bit swollen). The large toe box should come in handy with comfort and 'moveability' on hikes and keeping the sand out!

I ordered a men’s 8 because I have a high instep. Wear women’s 9.5. The 8 was way too small. Didn’t want the shoe too long so got a 9. Everything fine except the straps over my instep. I really wanted them so I cut the inner part of the top most strap. Can still tighten and nothing rubs. Very comfy now. Very broken in, so to speak.
