I bought these for my husband who gets hot feet. He finds that many rubber & webbing sandals are not comfortable for long walks in the city. These has been very comfortable (he wears them everyday!) and I just interviewed him about the size etc. and he find that they run true to size.

I bought the Keen's based on all the positive feedback I had read about them and because they are so comfortable to wear out and about. They are great in and out of water and dry really well. I love the way I get complete traction even when it is raining out.

Sandals are great. LLBean Customer service - even greater.

Like other reviewers mentioned, these run a little small. I normally wear an 11 and ordered 11.5 and they fit great. I tried them on with white athletic socks and they weren't too tight, but they also weren't loose without socks. I haven't had them long enough to comment on quality, but my initial observations are all positive. They look great, look and feel well-built, feel sturdy on my feet and are comfortable walking around and riding a bike. If/when these wear out I'll be buying another pair.

This is my second pair of this style of Keen sandals and I like these better than the originals. I have a wide foot with a high instep and there was no problem with the width. Right out of the box they fit perfectly and I could wear then comfortably without any break-in period.

I read some reviews that said size ran small so ordered size larger. Fit Perfect. Good support on sand and will not mark up deck of boat.

These sandals are working great. Last year I bought the LL Bean Explorer Sandals, they worked well, but these have much better color options. The LLBean sandals faded considerably more than my wife's Keen H2 sandals did over the same amount of time (though I wore mine more). The biggest difference between the two is the holes in the LLBean sandals that let the water drain out the bottom. These are great for getting the water out after you've been wading, but if you step on wet grass or a shallow puddle the holes also let water up into the sandal. Both are good, but I would recommend the Keen H2.

I own 5 pairs - what can I say? I have a few other keen styles...but the H2 is my favorite. 4 pairs are still in waiting...bought after I fell deeply for my first pair. After 2 years of nearly 'round the calendar wear...the first pair is still going strong! I've worn them as sandals, wet waded in them, worn them for light hiking and running, worn them over stocking foot waders on trips to reduce weight and the need for another pair of shoes/boots, worn them with socks in winter (wife and kids didn't this, but its comfy!:) I figure I'm good for at least a decade with my current stock. lol! Just take them in the shower with you or throw them in the sink and they come out like new if they get too muddy or something.

HAVE PURCHASED THIS BRAND IN THE PAST FROM ANOTHER SOURCE SO AM QUITE FAMILIAR WITH THE WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE WHO LIKES SANDALS. IN FL WE NEED SANDALS THAT BREATHE.

I bought these for my husband. They were true to size and he has already gone fishing in them. They wash up well and are very comfortable.

This is my second pair of Keens. My first pair wore out after nearly four years of frequent wearing. This is a good shoe for travelers because it's functional (and good-looking) in so many conditions. I bought the first pair for a trip to Nicaragua, where I wore them in the city, in the mountains, climbing a volcano, and swimming in the Pacific. I've brought them with me on trips to urban Europe and backwoods Maine, and I wear them all over South Dakota (when it's not too cold, that is!) This new pair will accompany me to Belize and Guatemala for a course I'm teaching on tropical ecology. I know from experience they'll serve me well in both the rainforest and the ocean. They look good enough for most occasions in the city, and they do a great job of protecting my feet in the great outdoors. The get a good grip on most surfaces, comparable with a good pair of trail running shoes. I've also worn them while fly-fishing, and if the rocks aren't extremely slippery they perform very well. They do permit some gravel in (as any sandal will) but unlike most sandals they do an excellent job of protecting my toes. They dry fairly quickly, but more importantly, they wear well even when wet.

I purchased this item for my husband. It is the first time he uses this type of sandals. He just loves them! We live in the tropics and he goes to the beach a lot. Now is is able to enjoy snorkeling where there are rocks (and a higher number of fish) without injuring his feet. He finds them extremely comfortable, true to size.

This is my second pair of H2s...it took quite a few miles (and a couple of years) to wear down the first pair, and I'm looking forward to the feel of the new ones! I also have the leather Newports, just as easy to wear and hard to wear out! Thanks for the great Keen colors on this model as well!

Extremely comfortable, these sandals are the best! I have worn them around town, in the Adirondacks, at home... muti-purpose! The closed toe is perfect, the grip on slippery rock is superb!

I bought these for my 14 year old son and he LOVES them. Great fit, comfy, & good traction. They're perfect for fishing.

For a slow decision maker, here's a blow by blow of chain of events today: 12:30 pm - saw a guy in a store with these cool looking sandals - he said they're from LL Bean. 1:30pm found 'em online, read all the reviews, went to buy, but they're sold out in my size. Called local LLBean store 5 miles away - they have 1 pair my size. 2 pm - rush to store, try 'em on (I wear size 12 shoe, got a size 13 which fit nicely). Buy 'em, rush home to put to the test. 4 - 5:30 pm - long walk with wife and terrier puppy. No breaking in, miles later still feel great on my happy feet. Hardest decision now is having to take them off...

They do the job nicely: comfortable too

I have been looking for a good pair of sandals to wear in and out of the water for a long time and I think I have finally found them. These sandals pinched my little toes some when I first put them on and I almost sent them back, but I am glad I didn't. After wearing them a few times, they really molded to my feet and are now extremely comfortable. They definitely run a half size small at least though. I would recommend them highly.

in just a few weeks time i have learned to love my new Keen sandals- spent a whole day in them on Saturday and it was like I had them forever- first test drive in the river this afternoon.....

These are a huge hit with my husband -- he absolutely loves them and "never wants to take them off"! They run small so order a 1/2 size larger.

I purchase these for a cruise I am going on in April. I went to my local LLBean store to see if I could buy them there, They had the sandals, but not the color I wanted. I did however try them on. you do need to go up a half size. The associate was great and very attentive. He called the online store to ensure I got my sandals, he offered free shipping, but I use my LLBean card so it does not matter. I received the sandals in about 2 days. Wow! that was fast. I wore them around the house all night, felt like slippers. I will see how they are on the beaches, other wet surfaces, and in the water. Very please with the look and comfort! So far worth the $.

Recently moved to Hawaii and needed a sturdy sandal/ water shoe to get around in. These are great right out of the box. I was out yesterday on the North Shore of Oahu with them. I could barely feel the jagged coral I was walking around on because of the sole construction. THey are very light though. I also think they give you a lot better protection than some other simpler sandals. Great buy.

Keen sandals have a look all their own, with that distinctive wrapped toe, but the functionality of it is superb. These are super comfortable sandals that work well for just about anything you can dish out. They are great even when you wear them all day for bopping about town or at camp. I have a pair and both of my older children have them (adult sizes). I can't imagine not having these around. As soon as the weather warms up, they are the shoe of choice around here, and they don't come off until fall rolls around. I like the fact that they can get wet yet dry off fast and are also speedy to get on/off, the kids like the fact that they can be worn all day and still be comfortable. I'll also add here that they are extremely durable. The Vans and Rocket Dogs that we own are lucky to last more than a month, but the Keens look like new despite 5 months of heavy wear. I can highly recommend this product!

These are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. With my narrow foot I often struggle with finding a good fit and these fit very well. Excellent for everyday use yet durable for serious activity. Not a weak shoe at all. Supportive, protective, yet still a breathable sandal.
