Hard as a rock to walk on. Not comfortable at all. Not good for 10 hours on your feet.

I purchased the new balance boots because I wear and like the shoes. The boot is okay the insoles are trash.

These shoes had a lot of support, however, they did not have enough padding in the sole for my feet. The steel toe was another issue. It pressed on my big toe causing discomfort. I had to return them.

I already wear a half size up for comfort. All toe boxes aren't made the same.

The composite toe makes these really uncomfortable. The edge of it rubbed on tops of my toes which I know is common with steel toes but I didn't feel like wearing them until I built up a bunch of callouses. I also thought they were going to be all black but there's a brightly colored panel on the sole which by itself wouldn't be enough to justify sending them back, but I personally didn't care for it

I want to like them for what they're intended and past experience with New Balance. These were too loose on the right foot. I've had size 10, 10.5 and 11. Apparently, these don't come in a size that fits both of my feet. Too bad.

When I tried to wear a thicker sock for winter, I couldn't pull the shoe over the sock. Too Tight. I do like the larger loop on the heel to pull the shoe on, but still couldn't get it over my feet. With thinner socks, shoes are comfortable and width is right on. When I went into the garage and had some water from melted snow on my soles, I slipped. Not good for a 71 year old man. One would think that a good work shoe would have better traction. I'm not sure I want to even wear them outside in Minnesota winter. But that is what I bought them for. I wanted a firm, arch supported shoe I can wear hiking , on wet rocks and dirt paths and snow. But If they slip in the freaking garage????

The boots seemed to be extremely well-made, but we're a bit SHORT (wrong size?) and NARROW. I tried them on TWICE, but they just didn't fit or feel comfortable.

Poor designs for laces. Seems to be 1 or 2 lace hooks/holes. The hooks for the laces need to be lower. The top one is at the very top of the boot. It makes for a goofy feel, and the laces force the tounge. Laces that come with the boot-shoes are too small to run all the way to the top. Not happy with this product. Used for work, riding motorcycles and cold days.

Love the way they fit, except the safety toe is just too narrow. Can't wear them because my pinky toes are getting crushed into my foot. Change the safety toe to match your sizing right and it's fixed

The zise is perfect, but sole doesn't give you a support to your arch, and it's not good enough for work all day

So I've worn them a week now and my feet are killing me ugh ? Length seems alright but the composite toe is hurting my pinky toes and the right shoe fits much tighter than the left! After about for hours of 12 hr shift pain is unbearable ?

The boy got a little snug but the worst thing was how narrow the toe box was! you can't break that part in! Instant no from me. Sent them back.

I had to drown these boots to help them break in. No arch support whatsoever. I added superfeet green on top of the existing insoles. That did wonders but seems there's a slight angle causing my ankle to "collapse" when in contact with a flat surface, I added some weather stripping under the plastic heel/arch cup to correctly offset the angle. The laces are junk for a boot. Changed them out first day. Pulled a braid out while untying. Cant complain about the outside, rugged, waterproof and resistant to it's claims. Well the heel cutout is just a tad too low.

I wear 6.5 in mens and have always had room to where my big toe never touches the front of shoe. Not in this case. I like the shoe still thinking if I should go for an 8 just to be safe.

It's a nice boot but I've been using it for about 2 weeks and my feet are still sore every thing else about the boot is amazing the soreness of my heals really is the only problem I found but the boots there self are getting better more comfortable so I'm hoping the sore heal will eventually go away so far I love the boots and I love your guys shoes I'm in line for a new pair of shoes pretty quick here so I'll definitely use this site again

I was hoping more from these work boots, comfort was an issue. I have a 4e foot, 11.5 US, supination: the size seemed a little to small, toes felt pushing at front of shoe, but I think .5 size up might be too big. I have not wear them long enough to comment on durability, I might not because of comfort. I have bought many brands of work books with safety toe, from steal to composite.

New balance designed this shoe too narrow for the composite part! It smashes my little toe unless I really push my heel against the back of the shoe. That’s not possible. These shoes would be perfect if they were a little wider at the toe. New balance has a 589 composite that fits better in 12-4e , but they don’t feel like much cushioned.

Had to return. Toe box is way too small. Maybe it could of worked if I had sized up, probably an entire size, not half size, but still not sure it would worked. One of the tightest toe boxes I've seen on boots, tighter than on hiking boots which I do have to size up one entire size bc of the toe box.

This is a nice well made shoe. I was not looking for a shoe with a composite toe.
