Usually they are good but this last pair split from the soles.

The shoes are comfortable and very lightweight as well as protecting my feet. However my feet get very hot in them. Overall a comfortable shoe

I did not follow recomendation from other reviews saying go an extra size or wide....saying that, have to say i stop using because feet hurt at second day. But i sure like them, will try them again, but wide..

Fits similar to other New Balance footwear. Have to wear thin socks, otherwise fit is too tight/narrow in toebox area.

Personally, I love them. Comfortable even with long days at work in harsh conditions. I've had three pairs over five years, and they last much longer than any other boot I've tried. The first part to go is usually the side stitching where it connects with the sole and toe box.

Very nice quality. My husband liked the look but the steel toe went back too far and hurt his toes. If not for that we would have kept them.

I started with the size I usually wear and SIX of my toes were rubbing really bad so I went up a half a size and these have plenty of toe room. Also I have plantar fasciitis and I recommend getting "Powerstep" (At least the Pinnacle Maxx or the high arch support) insoles to anyone with a similar issue.

I had bought the same shoes from another manufacturer for many years but due to material problems they did not have the model that I needed so I substituted another from the same company, ordering through Zappos. When they arrived I knew they weren't for me before trying on both shoes so I returned them and ordered these. Once they got broken in after a few days they were comfortable boots that worked well with my orthotic inserts. I've only been out in the snow and wet once by the waterproofing seems to work. By the way, my podiatrist recommended Zappos when my long-time shoe store closed down.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance has been my mainstay for quite a while, but Rockport seems to make a decent shoe also.

I’ve worn Red Wing, Chippewa and Timberland Pro boots over the years and these New Balance boots are the most comfortable out of the box boots I’ve worn. Super light also. Time will tell on durability as I’ve only worn them a few weeks. Would give them 5 stars across the board except for one thing. They could use a mid foot shank in the sole. Can really feel it if you’re climbing a ladder/scaffold with round “steps”. Other than that, as long as they don’t wear out quickly this will be my boot of choice going forward.

Never had a problem until now these boots are a great work shoe. But they do run small in the toe. You have to go up a size (example you wear size 9 go up to a size 9.5 or 10).

I never have a problem with New Balance shoes but I'm finding out a lot about boots with a composite toe. When buying this boots you have to go up a size bigger to give you the room needs for toes. The composite protection takes up that room. If you wear a 15 size shoe you have to go up to size 16. Overall the boots felt really comfortable, have to wait for a bigger boot to give a better description on how the boots worked for me.

had to opt for the extra wide as the steel rubbed against my toes on the wide size. they are a bit like Frankenstein boots and not particularly light weight, but very comfortable so far and 12 hours on concrete floors means they NEED to be comfortable all day.

Definitely a true to fit size… I broke mine in a couple days before actually wearing them on my 12hr shift. They are just wha I was looking for.

I do a lot of walking around at job sites that require safety toed boots. These boots are a great alternative for someone who does not want to spend the money on Redwings. My only complaint is the insoles are not that comfortable, but insoles from the drug store fix that problem.

The shoe was large enough but the toe box was more constricting than it should be. My husband has tried many shoes with a protective toe and they do not allow enough room for toes.

They feel like I'm walking with pillows on my feet. Just waiting to see how they hold up and how long they'll last. so far a couple months in and they still look good and feel great

These boots are SO light! They appear to be very well made. Unfortunately they didn't fit ME. The toebox was too low and my toes were rubbing against the protective toe cap.
I wish they did fit, I'd very much like to wear them.

It took about a week or 2 to break them in. They're really comfortable after the break in period. I'm on my feet 8-10 hours per day and I have no problems with my feet hurting.

I recently started working in an commissary/grocery store. Out of the 3 boots I bought for work, these by far are the most comfortable. My only complaint if I had one is it takes about a week to break in the ankle/top portion of the boot. Kind of feels like the brackets are stiff at first when you lace them up. I would definitely recommend these if you are on your feet all day.
