I have been searching for 2 years for a good run shoe and i finally found it. I wear street size 9-9.5 and i got a 10 in these. The toe box is nice and roomy, my toes do no fall asleep wearing them. Right out of the box i ran a 10K, and i was so happy! My feet didn't hurt. I am a heavier/taller runner, and these provide the cushioning i need. After 2 years of trying shoes that hurt my feet, i am so happy to have found these. Pros - Cushioned, large toe box, they have a nice glide on them when you run if that makes sense, reflective!. Cons- I'm a bright color fan, So i was a little disappointed with the lack of fun/bright colors, i almost didn't buy them because of that, but i am so happy i did. Comfort trumps color for running shoes.

Love it. In comparison, I wear a 11.5 wide in ASICS Nimbus and in these I wear an 11.5 wide. In Reebok I wear an 11. These are so comfortable. I’m a New Balance girl now. Prior to this I wore ASICS Nimbus, but ASICS has completely changed so I went to this shoe. Great comfort, great stability

I really liked the look and feel of this shoe but was surprised to see that they were short. My big toe came right to the top of this shoe. Sadly, I have to return.

Theses are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Super supportive and I love they come in half sizes and narrow!

I am nurse working 12 hour shifts on my feet all day. These shoes provide great support and comfort for these long days and are the best I have found!

I have been having some foot/ankle problems, with pain on bottom of my foot that is not plantar fasciitis. Feels more like a cramp. My PT recommended a shoe with a wider toe box so I can stretch my toes out. There are wide toe box shoes out there that are zero drop, which is no good if you you have had achilles problems. I just did my first run in the NB FreshFoam 1080s, and it was the BEST RUN I have had in 6 months. At the first sign of foot pain I stretched my toes out, and the pain went away. The shoes were comfortable right out of the box, and despite the wide toe box, fit my narrow heel like a glove and give plenty of arch support. I DEFINITELY recommend these to anyone who wants to free there toes up a bit but who does not want to transition to a zero drop shoe.

Spent so much money on sneakers to walk in, including the 990's which were highly recommended by the stores. My knees get stiff with all of them. I saw these on the website, ordered a pair, and 10 years of walking with stiff knees is over. Thank you. I don't know what the difference is. I did use an old insert from 990's.

I have plantar fasciitis and being a cook and standing 8 to 10 hours a day I need comfortable work shoes.after spending a lot of money on shoes and not finding what I needed.I went to a family run shoe store and the sales lady suggested the 1080's and I"m currently on my 5th pair and I love them. I highly recommend these if you have feet issues.

I was worried these would be a little heavier with the extra support, but they are AMAZING! Super cushioned and comfortable. Great for long runs!

Long time NB wearer, usually get the 990's but tried these and they are my new favorite! Very supportive, but lighter and breathable! Buying my 3rd pair.

I cannot review properly as shoe did not fit. I ordered a 2E because 4E not available. Not only did shoes feel a bit snug but they were not long enough--the seemed. I have worn New Balance for years because I have a wide foot and they have been wonderful. Some of the 2E's have been fine even though 4E is better.

I love these shoes! I was suggested to try this on when looking for a cushioned shoe for longer runs and a shoe for work. I stand 10-15 hours a day. Before I even stood up in them I loved them! They are roomy in the toe box (no squished toes and bunions!) and wider through the arch than the v7. The cushion is amazing! SO happy I got these! Wish there were more colors so I could get a second pair. When compared to the v7 very similar in toe box, pretty similar in spring of fresh foam, but ever so slightly narrow in the mid foot and multiple people stated feel like they were falling off the shoe a little. I usually wear an 8.5 in my running shoes but the lady who fit these said they run a little short so she put me in a 9.0 and it's perfect.

I previously had fresh foam and have loved them--I've completely worn them out over the past (probably too many) years. I like the style of these (although the color contrasts were not quite what I would design) and they seem comfortable. However, the toe box seems much wider than the several previous New Balance shoes I've had. My feet have gotten bigger (thanks to 2 pregnancies), so not sure if it's just because I've gone from a 10.5 to an 11.5? My foot is relatively narrow, but I ordered the medium width as I always have in the past. I'm returning them and ordering a narrow to see if that fixes the issue. Hoping it's not just that NB has gone to a wider toe box in general!

I have been wearing these shoes for about 2 weeks . I have a wide toe box and these shoes fit perfectly. Comfortable when exercising.

My go-to walking shoe is always New Balance. First, they fit my long and narrow feet (if I order one size up, which I've learned over the years). The toe box is large enough not to irritate my bunion. All in all, comfortable walking shoes. But, with all that comfort comes a little sacrifice in style. They do look a little clunky and my giant feet enveloped in baby blue shoes accented with coral get too much attention. Nonetheless, I like them and don't plan to wear them to the ball.

This is the second time I brought this shoe. I wear a 9.5 wide. The color light green is really pretty. It does get dirty faster than the dark blue, but that was expected. The shoe sole lasts a long time and is very comfortable. I am an extremely avid walker, about seven to 10 miles per day, and this shoe holds up. Will buy it again when needed.

I LOVE these shoes! I feel like I'm walking on pillows! I have been looking for a shoe that I like as much as the OLD Nike Airs (before they became super narrow). The NB's have a springy-ness to them as well. This is it! However, I'm dinging a star here based on the wide heel. It's the one thing that is NOT like Nike. I have a wide forefoot with a narrow heel. These want to slide up even double laced at the ankle. This isn't a deal breaker since I'm not a runner but if you were, this may be an issue. They feel great on my wide forefoot, high arched, plantar fascitis feet, however. The arch support is almost enough without an orthotic, but with my old birkenstock orthos it was too much. Mostly, these shoes feel great and the mint color is so vibrant and lovely. It's the first pair of sneakers I've owned that aren't ugly! Shoe size: 10 wide. Sized a half size up for running shoes. Dress shoes and Birkenstocks I wear a 9.5/40.

Perfect fit--I'm usually a 9 and the 9 fit perfectly. Comfy immediately. Lots of room in the toebox which I like. Unfortunately it feels like there is no arch support at all, so may need to use inserts. But these are keepers!

The shoe is sized properly. It is stable but could use more cushioning towards the front of the shoe. Overall very pleased.
