Nice running shoe but runs very short. I bought a half size larger and it was still short. Had to return.

I walk 5 mi a day and have wide flat feet. So finding a shoe that’s supportive and fits is a challenge! These do both! They are supportive and fit nicely. I walked 5mi the first day I got them without a problem!

I am really happy with the 1080V2, my daughter in law had them and I wanted to try them. The width is perfect with my 2E width and small 6 1/2 size shoe. have had a few compliments. I am totally a "white shoe" person but got the blue ones. Comfortable with my orthodic inserts. Light weight and so far no problems with walking, exercise or just everyday wearing. I am on the floor a lot with grand-kids and they seem to hold up fine.

It just seemed a little too narrow in the toe box. Otherwise it was very comfortable'

I have worn this brand for ages and I have found that if I wear heavy socks to avoid blisters and a simple gel insert, then I need to get a size one size larger than dress shoes. However, in the past few years the New Balance sport shoes are smaller all around especially in width, than prior years. This width is especially important if you have high arches. I bought these in a size 9 and in prior years a size 8 would have sufficed. These are very comfortable and stylish and the black is less conspicuous if you end up wearing them with casual pants. I have to say that I forget I am wearing them when I am out, as these shoes are so comfortable. Enough said.

I really like these shoes. I ordered a wide, and they are definitely wide. But super comfortable. The only downside, they are very pricey!

I normally wear a 10 wide, but in tennis shoes I usually go up a half size. The wide in this shoe looked extremely wide, I think because of seeing more of the white sole than the regular. I also tried the regular width and it fit better and didn’t look clownish. I’ve worn these shoes in the past and would have stayed with them again, but I tried Brooks and they won for my feet.

I like the shoe. It's comfortable and wide. It is much wider on my toes than I thought. I'm a size 11 and B (for width). My feet are different sizes. I'm looking for something that allows for my wide feet to not be crowded, comfortable, and stylish. I'm not sure about these shoes. Feels too clunky for my taste.

Ordered my normal size New Balance 13 AA, they are long enough but the box is so narrow it puts pressure on my big toes. Quite Upset the toe box is quite narrow because they don't carry many shoes in 13 narrow widths. Will have to send back. I like the blue color but hate the pink florescent accent trim.

Got these in a wide width & although they fit ok I didn't like how they looked. A little bulky looking.

The heel bad was too shallow for me.

I liked the shoes except for one critical issue. The mid-section of the shoe is very narrow and therefore painful. I don't understand this design, as the toe area has a lot of room.

I liked the feel of the shoes - the size and arch support. I think the front of the shoe is disproportionally large. The shoe was very comfortable and the color was nice but looked odd on my foot. I am returning the shoes.

Loved these shoes...for 1 month. When committing to these shoes, I love the wide to box. They were comfortable from day one, except it felt like my heels were lower in the shoe. One month later, I have stopped wearing them due to increasing knee pain. I will look for an insert, but until then, I’m searching for another pair.

I really liked the look of these (color, etc.)...nice material. However, I am normally a 7.5 B (medium width) and I had to check under the tongue to be sure they were not a C or D width. They felt way too swooshy. Too much foot movement in them. Felt much wider than a B width. Had to return them. :-(

Tight on the sides, gave me a blister the first time I wore them. Definitely not good if you have a slight bit of a wider foot. These shoes are very narrow

The toe box is wide (I wear a wide shoe) and that was good but the rest of the shoe was so narrow that it hurt and I have a narrow heel. And these just weren't comfortable for me and when looking down at my feet, the shoe just looked funny. It is a funny shape and not a fan of the bright orange on the sole. They are going back.

I had the older model of this shoe, which I loved. So comfortable - wide toe box! So since they don't offer that same NB shoe , I had to order this updated shoe. It is more narrow - so feels like it messes with my toes (old style did not) I hope with wearing - they will stretch out. I feel our toes need wider toe area to spread out. Cramming toes into tennis shoes is not good. So if for the future NB could keep the toe box area - just a little wider would be great! I normally wear 8's - so these fit good. I don't have a wide foot, but don't need very narrow shoe either. Over all they are ok - but the older model I put them on and it was like "Slippers" very very comfortable all around. These just seem tighter and will need break in period, where old style - they were perfect from the get go.

I love the fit, the style and the choice of colors of the 1080s. I'm a tough fit due to foot pain problem and wear custom orthotics. I have worn New Balance for decades and never had a problem with fit or comfort I'm brought my normal size 7.5 medium width. Pretty average. Yet I'm disappointed in the fit of their latest styles. I'm finding it more challenging to get the right fit especially width wise in the toe box and where the laces hit top of foot. These 1080s have a wide enough toe box and the cushioning feels great. Comfort, cushioning and enough toe box room is key to me. And if I can get a pretty style/color as well I feel I hit the jackpot. I'm not yet sure the 1080 is a winner for me. It's the moderate arch support that I'm unsure about. I find this moderate arch starts fatiguing my foot after an hour of walking around the house on carpet and tile floor. I'm a long distance daily walker so I need a lot of cushioning and neutral arch support to be my ideal. This 1080 may have more arch support then I can tolerate. Hence my hesitation if this is the right NB for me.
