These are wonderful rain boots. They are waterproof and comfortable. I have already worn them twice for long walks in the woods with my dog and my feet remained warm and dry. I am 5'4" and normally wear a 7½ or sometimes a 7 and my foot is a bit on the narrow side. The size 7 was perfect. I am not sure why others complained about them being tight in the calf. I am slim with small to slightly muscular legs and the boots are perfect with jeans tucked into the fleece Hunter liners. There is still plenty of room to spare. I have done a couple of 1 mile walks in them in comfort, but they might be a bit heavy for anything more than two miles.

I ordered these boots for my granddaughter. We ordered the wrong size. Zappos corrected our error with great efficiency at no inconvenience to us. She loves these boots and I am impressed with Zappos' customer service.

I just got my wellies yesterday and absolutely love them! I am 6'1 and wear a size 10 and these feel true to size. They are the perfect height and hit about 3 inches below my knee. I got mine in the black and was a little skeptical from the picture because I didn't want them too shiny. I will say if you're on the fence between the original and original gloss, go with these. They are the perfect amount and don't appear nearly as shiny in person as in the picture. I will say though that trying them on for the first time surprised me because they are snug in the calf. Now I am a runner and never considered my calves big. I think what Hunter is trying to do is prevent rain from coming inside the boot. I can still wear them with skinny jeans but I would recommend maybe trying them on in a store before buying if possible. I recommend these to anyone who is considering them...they are well worth the money!

Love the look and quality of this boot. Love the cushiony insole and the soft flexibility of the rubber. I've only worn them a few hours around the house but I think they will be comfortable enough to wear for walking my dog. On fit: I wear 8 or 8.5 depending on the style/brand. Ordered these in 8. The foot length is fine but they are a little loose in width. A regular thick sock takes care of that. For the shaft: sit with your bare feet flat on the floor. Start with the end of the tape measure on the floor and measure up the side of your leg 16". This is where the top of the boot will hit you. Now measure around that part of your leg. If it's more than 14" then the top of this boot will probably be too snug for you. Mine measures 13.75" (13 and 3/4). The boots just fit with leggings, knitted skinny jeans, and of course bare legs. But they do not fit with the Hunter sock liners. The sock liners make the foot part of the boot fit better but the very top is too snug for comfort unless I went barelegged. But if it's cold enough for the liners then it's too cold for bare legs.

I was debating for a while on whether or not to spend so much money on rain boots but they are worth it! I'm 5'2" and they come up to my knee and there enough room to tuck in jeans or wear leggings with thick socks! So happy I decided to buy them!

Love! These boots are terrific. After agonizing over trying them out I'm so happy I did. Sometimes I have a hard time finding boots to fit my athletic calves, but these did with room to tuck in jeans and leggings. I noticed the Gloss is noted as measuring wider in circumference than the Original so that may help some of you with more athletic legs decide whether or not to try these. Love the fit and the feel.

I am doing my rain dance right now so I can wear these! I originally ordered the Trentorn Kelly and they they fit but only fit with my thin pair of skinny jeans. I do not have very thin calves, but never thought of them as large. I tried these in the store in 8 and 9, as I usually wear 8½. The 8 was a little snug in the foot and the calf so I ordered the 9. The 9 is great in the foot, but a little loose around the calf without pants which is still comfortable and they are great with jeans too. Comparing these to the others that I have not sent back yet I am so glad I went with these. They are taller and less slim but definitely more like rain boot look and protection I was looking for.

These boots are fabulous. They are perfect for super rainy days, comfortable, and breathable. I am a size 8 and that size is perfect. They are not too glossy and easy to take care of. The instructions are included in the nifty box they come in. Trust me, they are worth it!

Awww, I'm so sad. I received these in the mail today (Zappos you do a great job with next day delivery), couldn't wait to get off work and try them on. They are so tight at the legs. I just don't understand...I don't have thick calves and these were simply hugging my leg. Jeans could never fit in these. So sad because I truly loved these and I will have to return them.

If you have a farm as I do, these are a necessity They are the best in rubber boots. They are cute even though they are utilitarian. True to size and comfy.

I already had these in black but love them so much I wanted to get a colorful pair just for those days when I want a pop of color. I live in Los Angeles so I hardly have a need for rain boots but I wear them when it's 75 and sunny because they're so comfy and chic, albeit out of place and unnecessary haha. the quality is great and the pillar box red is insanely cute. So happy!

For years, I refused to wear rain boots, because I thought they looked clunky and ugly. I didn't think twice about buying these. Hunter makes the rain boot stylish! These boots are very comfortable and durable. They are also great for the snow! Just make sure you buy the liner for this Hunter boot as well.

I received my boots the other day and I'm thrilled with my purchase! I normally wear 7.5 to 8 and the 7 is a great fit. I still have plenty of room to wear a welly sock. I'm 5'7 with slender toned legs and found the calf circumference and shaft length to be perfect.

I love them! They are the most comfortable rainboots I've ever had on and they look and feel great. Very sturdy boot with substantial sole. They do run at least a half size big so the 6 fit me and I am usually a 6.5 or a 7. So glad I could get them on sale. Can't wait for a rainy fall!

I absolutely love these boots! I ordered them for my wedding day because there was rain in the forecast. Well, it did rain and these boots were the best! I've worn them many times since the wedding and am constantly getting compliments. They aren't as glossy as the picture looks and that was a good thing for me. They have a great fit and have a good arch so they don't flop around like cheap rubber boots. You can add thick socks for fall or winter months. I wear a 6.5 but ordered a 6 and they fit perfect! I would recommend these boots to everyone. My only grievance is that I want two pairs now!

I ordered these boots at 9 pm eastern time and they showed up on my doorstep at 10 am this morning! I had free shipping and was expecting them 3-4 days. Unbelievable! I'm still so excited about them. The boots themselves are beautiful and I got them for a great price. I'm so happy with my purchase.

These are great rain boots. I can see that people say the calf is narrow but I did not have a problem. They must be worn with either straight leg or legging jeans. They are super comfortable. I am very tall, 6'2", and they come right below my knee so they are probably not a good choice for petite women.

First of all Zappos is awesome! I received my boots 2 days after ordering them. So far I love them! They definitely run a size big but a little extra room is okay because I want to convert them to snow boots with Hunter's welly socks in the winter. Definitely worth the sale price! I would recommend these to anyone.

These boots are true to size and leave enough room to accommodate welly socks. I love the shiny, classic red. Perfect for puddle-jumping.

Haven't been able to wear it, but I love the bitter chocolate color I got. I always other college students wearing it around and wanted my own. It's classy and Canberra worn to the office or anywhere during the winter or rainy days. Can't wait to put it to use! And if your debating if to get the glossy or just regular look and go for the glossy finish. It's not overly shinny, just the right amount of gloss.

I decided to buy Hunter boots because I am Texas girl moving to the Northeast and totally unequipped for the weather up there. I have heard such great reviews about the product, so I cannot wait to try them out, but what I can say just from having received my order is that these boots are amazing. From what I gathered "Original Gloss" is sometimes described as "High Gloss" on other sites, so I was initially a little worried that these boots would be too glossy, look cheap, and be hard to pair with outfits. That is not true at all. They are the perfect amount of glossy without looking too over the top. I got the "Original Gloss" in Black and couldn't be happier with my choice. They will be so easy to pair with everything! Also, Zappos is amazing. I got my boots in the mail just three days after ordering them online. I absolutely loved that there was no cost for shipping nor taxes as well! Buying Hunters online on any other sites would have cost me more. Thank you Zappos for saving me money! I cannot wait to order more things from Zappos in the future.

I love these boots! I wear an 8.5/9 and these fit perfectly. There's definitely room for me to wear thick wool socks. It felt loose in the foot when I first put them on, but after wearing them all day I tend to enjoy that. It's enough freedom with out feeling like I'm walking in shoes that are way too big for me. I am a dock rep for a local touring company and on the rainy days they keep my feet nice and dry while attracting lots of compliments.

Nice color. I am an 8 1/2. I tried sizes 8 and 9 and kept the 8. I kept walking out of the 9. A thick sock would have probably helped but I won't be wearing them if it is that cold. The 8s were more comfortable to walk in but a bit harder to take off (I can't kick them off, instead I have to sit down and pull it off). There could be more arch support but if is not terrible. Great for gardening!

Love the boots! The buckle broke and Zappos replaced the pair for me immediately. I couldn't be happier with my new boots and Zappos!
