I first ordered the huntress because I thought I had big calf muscles. When they came in, they were really big around my calves but not in a good way. Zappos sent me the original hunter, and they were perfect: plenty of room with leggings, jeggings, and skinny jeans. They also made my legs look longer than the huntress. Also I usually wear a size 8, but I ordered the 7, and they fit perfect.

Just received my boots! They look beautiful and I love how they look on. I was a bit worried because my calves are 15" and all the boots I've tried on so far were not to my liking. I wear a size 9 in boots because I have wide feet. I found them to be comfy and there was plenty of room for my feet. It is a bit snug around my calf but I was prepared for that. It's not too uncomfortable but I will definitely only wear these boots with leggings. I would think of exchanging them but there's no size 9.5, so I'm keeping them. I have put some weight on and I am confident that once I lose those extra lbs my calves won't feel so snug.

If I had known what I was missing by not having these fantastic boots I would have ordered them a long time ago! They are the best! Great-looking and completely cozy, waterproof and best of all...comfortable! Who knew? These have a wonderful built-in sole with excellent arch support. Much more than I expected from a boot like this. They are well-made and I will have have them for years. Can't go wrong with the classic black gloss. Go ahead - get 'em! You'll be glad.

Great boot! I read so many reviews trying to decide what size to order so I hope this review helps someone. I am an 8.5 true and true (high heels size 9). Medium width typically fits with no problem. My foot is not narrow by any means. After all the reviews, I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly, even with a thick sock. I wanted a rain boot that was more fashionable than the typical rain boot and the gloss finish is fantastic. They hit directly below my knee (I am 5.4 and don't have very long legs) and are super comfortable. I have average calves and the fit is great. I will need a slim leg jean or legging as boot cut jeans will not fit into this boot. I don't see a muscular calf fitting into this boot.

Love these boots! Not only have I had multiple comments on them (positive) but 5 of my friends have purchased in all different colors. I love the shiny look of the original gloss over the dull original look, but that's just me. Came back to order the welly socks so I can stay warm in them all winter and walk right through the slush! I did buy the 8's because I read that they ran big, and they fit perfectly, I am normally and 8 1/2 or 9 in running shoes.

Perfect boots for a college student looking to get around campus through the rain, slush, and snow season. I love these boots, very stylish and practical.

Love my new Wellies. Haven't had a chance to wear them yet but look forward to, along with my welly socks.

In love! Had both the gloss black and flat black sent as I couldn't decide. Am keeping the gloss ones. They are too cool! I usually wear a 9.5 and got these in 9. Perfect. Roomy with thin socks and just enough room for liners. These will be my go to winter/spring boots!

This is my first pair of Hunter Rain Boots. I love them. They are so comfortable, especially with the Welly Socks.

These are great boots. I'm really happy with the color and style, and they seem to fit well. I think they might run a bit on the bigger side so if you're in between sizes, you should order down.

These are my fall and winter football game boots. I love them. They are comfy enough to walk long distances, while at the same time super cute! They are also great to wear to the dog park or any other muddy place.

These gray hunters are amazing. They're great in the rain or snow over leggings or skinny jeans. Definitely worth the cost because they are well made. Zappos let me down with slow shipping but the boots were worth the wait!

These boots are beautiful! I now get excited for rainy days and an excuse to wear them. Don't get bent out of shape about the size, I usually wear a 7 or 8. I went with a 7, and they're perfect.

In an effort to avoid spending the money on Hunter wellies, I did some research and first tried on Hunter kids (yes, the size 6 fits an adult size 7-8) and 2 different types of Kamik rain boots. Also, being 5'4", I was worried that the Hunter Originals would be too tall. Ultimately, the Hunter Originals won in every way - perfect height (hit just below the knee), soft, flexible rubber and very comfortable to walk around in! After trying on the other options I no longer feel apprehensive about shelling out the money for the Hunter boots - they really are worth it.

My sister wanted these boots for her birthday. I quickly found them, purchased and had them at my house within three days! They were a big hit and the process could not have been easier!

These boots are amazing. I live in Savannah, GA but frequently visit my home in Ohio. The boots are durable enough to "weather the storm" in both places.

Very cute! They feel half size bigger than they are so get a smaller size than you normally would. Love them.

I normally wear a 7 but I have to go down a size to a 6 and they fit perfectly! Very comfortable.

I bought these specifically because they have the highest shank height 15 plus inches. I want to use them for the beach during winter, so short rain boots won't do the trick. These are great because I am tall and they come to my knee. The kids and I love to play on the beach in winter.

These boots are fabulous, plain and simple! They keep your foot super dry while looking sharp. As far as sizing goes, they are roomy so err on the smaller size. I am a 9 or 9 1/2 and the 9 fits perfectly with room for a sock. I highly recommend this boot!
