I have been on the fence about purchasing these boots and I am so glad that I got off! I absolutely love these boots! They are so comfortable and I always get so many compliments when I am wearing them! I usually wear a 8½ but I ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. I have muscular calves but I do not feel they are tight at all. These boots are incredible!

Love these boots. I have sort of large calf muscles, and these still fit easily. Did have to go to size 9 (wear 8 1/2), but that's not too much of an issue. Recommend.

I absolutely LOVE these boots. I've worn them all day, been on my feet, and they are still comfortable. I actually look forward to rainy days just so I can wear these adorable rain boots. They are made well, but I agree with others that the calf is narrow so make sure to measure before you buy.

I just got these in the mail, and they look really stylish and of good quality. The feel great on my feet. I didn't want the traditional yellow or to go with another "black boot," so I ordered the brown ones. I'm not sure how I feel about the color. I guess I'll have to try them on with jeans etc.

LOVE! Wearing my hunter black gloss for the first time today, and I must say they are awesome! I normally wear a 6.5, but I ordered a 6, and it fit perfectly. I normally hate the rain and cold but couldn't wait for it to rain so I could try my new boots out!! I wore them for the first time to work today... lots of compliments! As always Zappos gives great customer service, and I received my new boots in two days!!

Love my new rain boots! I live in a place that gives me about 8 months per year of downpour when these are gonna' be my primary footwear! I usually fit 8.5-9 in boots, and I ordered the 39, and they are perfect with socks and the felt liners (I got the grizzly ones, love them too!). No more worrying about my leather boots in the rain!

Great boots! I ordered them in the red, and the color is gorgeous. I normally wear a size 6-6.5, but based on other reviews I ordered a 5. It fits really well in the foot, but the ankles are a little tight at first. I wear them with the Hunter wellies socks, and they're warm and super comfortable.

I bought these for my 16 yr old daughter. They are perfect for her to attend fall sporting events. As the weather gets colder she will add the fleece Hunter socks.

Loved this boot, but it's way too narrow in the calf. It's impossible to wear with jeans or pants which is the point of the boot. Had to return.

I live in Brooklyn and walk to and from my workplace (about 1.25 miles each way) every day, rain or shine. These boots have been fantastic in the few weeks that I've had them, during which I've worn them 6-7 times. Not only do I wear them to and from work, but all day AT work as well. They are comfortable and good-looking enough to do so with no trouble. I'm usually a size 7.5-8, and the 7 is perfect; it's roomy enough for thick socks come winter but not so roomy that I feel like my feet are flopping around. Two thumbs up.

I wore my Hunter rain boots for the first time the other day. They are great. They kept my feet warm and dry, and they are extremely comfortable. I read the other reviews and purchased the half size smaller. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but ordered the 8, and the boots were still roomy.

I love these boots! I normally wear a 7 in everything and wasn't sure what to order because of the reviews. I stuck with the 7, and they do fit great with socks, without they are a bit loose, but I think the 6 would be way to small. I kept the 7 and am very happy!

Hunter boots are awesome! They fit kind of big, so I bought the 7, but I usually wear a 7 1/2. They are great for the rain/winter! Good buy!

What a dilemma: order your size or a size down? If you read the reviews on here, you would be, as I was, tempted to order a size down. I normally wear a size 7 and ordered a size 6. Although, the boots fit they were too snug to wear with thick socks. Also, the shaft will be proportionally narrower with a smaller size. The size 6 boots were tough to get out of, and I had to sit down and tug at them to get them off. I prefer a bigger size where you can slip them off, especially if they are wet and muddy. My calves are 13.5 inches. Unless you can point your toe like a ballerina, your foot will get stuck when passing through the shaft. I would recommend going down in sizes if you are in between sizes and have relatively small calves.

These boots fit perfectly. I bought a 10 (but I'm easily a 10 1/2), so I was a little nervous after reading the reviews. Bottom line - don't get overwhelmed by all the reviews, and go with your gut. There was plenty of room in the calf and still plenty of room in the boot for the Wellie socks. The boots are less glossy than the photos which makes me rethink the brightly colored boots. A bright color for a cold winter day doesn't sound so bad now. As for the shaft height, I'm 5'10", and they are barely below my kneecap. Finally, the foot comfort level is better than other Wellies. Perfection.

Bought these for my 13 year old who has long, narrow feet. She is typically an 8.5, but the length on these perfect. A little wide in the foot and calf, but that is because she is a skinny girl in a woman's shoe (she needs the length).

Woo hoo! They're here! Now, I just need the rain/snow :-) These boots are adorable with skinny jeans. I got them in the Original Gloss Pillar Box Red, and they couldn't be better! I originally ordered the Original Yellow (no gloss), but when I received them, I noticed there were already some marks on the boots just from being in the box. While I loved the color, I realized that EVERY little mark from walking outside in them was going to show. It would have driven me nuts! So, as always Zappos is AWESOME, and I exchanged them for the red gloss. I wanted a bright color to cheer me up in the rain/snow, and these will definitely do the trick. And, I was able to buy my 3-yr.old a matching red pair... not too often you can buy something that matches your little boy. He loves his, too! I normally wear an 81/2 or 9, and I went with the 9. The 8 did fit BUT not with wellie socks, and I'd like to wear them through the winter. Hope this helps!
