Unfortunately these are much more orange in real life than in the photos (where they appear dark brown). Color not really as pictured. Also, tight in front area. Returned them.

The shoe quality was disappointing. Significant quality issues found which resulted in not being able to wear the shoes due to the discomfort around my ankle. Poorly made and overall disappointing to spend this much on a shoe that is poorly made.

I have been buying Cole Haan shoes for many years. I have like the quality and fit. They have also lasted a long time. I am not happy with these shoes at all. The leather uppers feel very cheap. I do not think they will last long. I knew the soles were plastic / rubber and did not expect much so that is what I got. This is the second pair of this brands' shoes I have purchased recently that have been this way. Not only do I not recommend this shoe I will stop buying this brand, or at least on line so I can verify the quality. Really made me think this was a knock-off shoe.....

Ordered in regular and wide width. Regular is too narrow, wide is too wide. I have been buying Cole Haan shoes in size 8 for the past 6 years and have loved them. This style is unusual, very stiff and hard, and odd width.

Style is good. But it's not comfy at all. The soles feel flat. The cushioning is not soft at all. The rubber is slippery. There's no traction. Feels more like plastic.
For the price one pays for this shoe one would expect a lot more.

I ordered these in my size, 11.5 wide. The toebox is short and stiff. The shoes ruthlessly dig into the top of my toes with every step I take. I make no exaggeration when I say these are some of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever purchased.

I purchased these shoes in the NATURAL TAN-SILVER BIRCH color. The color variation looks printed onto the leather. The leather has a weird embossed crosshatch pattern that makes it look like plastic. I returned them for a refund immediately. Not what I expect from Cole Haan. I hope the use of cheap leather does not continue.

The lining (or lack of) around the rim at rear of the ankles was sharp and would irritate the back of my ankles when walking. Cole Haan should put a cushioned lining to prevent this.

I expected to receive shoes that are store quality. There was a dime sized discolouration in the front. I wouldn't pick those shoes in store and would look for another pair. I love Cole Haan shoes and they've given me comfort and looks for years so I'm not as disappointed but definitely disappointed.

I've owned these for almost a year but have only worn them a handful of times, enough to break them in, and they're one of the most uncomfortable pairs of shoes I've ever owned. It's like walking on planks of wood while having your ankle compressed with iron. Yesterday I wore them to the office and they hurt my feet so bad to the point that I had to leave work early.
