I loved the look of this boot with the crossed straps. However, the leather is very stiff where it hits the front of my lower leg when I walk. I was afraid it wouldn't break in so these have to go back. Thanks, Zappos!

Comfortable right out of the box and I wore them all day on the first day! I wore them with black leggings and a sweater and they look so chic. Thank you Zappos!

These are comfortable right out of the box. They provide reasonable support and although they are roomy in the ankle, my feet don't slip. These are great for walking around the city or the shopping malls.

I got the black, size 12M. The boots are comfortable right away. Stylishly simple. A bit shiny, but not intolerable. The shape of the boot is nice and I prefer it to a pointier toe as there is more room in the toe box. They are a bit wide for my foot but nothing a thicker sock won’t fix or maybe an insert. The boot seems true to width - its my foot. Narrow is “too narrow” so I go with medium, usually. There is minimal to moderate arch support. Soles are nice, not too soft or squishy and enough cushion to wear all day with a few miles of walking on hard surfaces. I like that the boot seems to be made true to fit (if I can). Meaning they didn’t exaggerate the size of the opening or the girth at the ankle or where it fits at the tarsals/cuneiforms. I have a slim foot and ankle and most women’s shoes at size 12 are seemingly made for a giant man’s foot. The leather is soft and the boot seems well made. They go well with everything/anything you’d wear this style with - jeans/leggings or skirts.
