I really wanted to love these shoes. I have other Comfortiva shoes and order the 9 1/2 W which works for those but these were too long and too narrow! I didn't expect that a heel pad would correct the length and the width was so narrow and the vamp came across my big toe joint. As soon as I stood the pain was way too much to expect anything would change with wear. They are a beautiful shoe and I was completely disappointed that I had to return with no hope that another size would work.

The toe box was quite narrow and instantly squished my toes. The heel was too wide and constantly slipped off.

These shoes run slightly short in length and are weirdly short from top to bottom as well. They cut into the top of my foot behind my toes painfully (in an extra-wide width). Really unfortunate because the foot bed felt cushy and the style was solidly ok for a wide width shoe (not nearly as matronly as some).

Super cute, but the wide width didn’t really feel like a wide. I returned them and ordered the EE. Maybe those will feel more like a wide shoe.

When I started wearing these, they felt pretty good, considering it's a supportive / stiff heel. I don't wear large heels very often. But over time, these shoes have gotten more uncomfortable! It's like the toe box is too tight for my feet now. Whenever I wear them, I bring another pair of shoes to switch into it. I wear these if I will be sitting a lot. They look really nice, though.

I need a shoe for interviews and was hoping this would work. But, the 10WW is too short, so unfortunately, these have to go back. The search continues.

So extremely comfortable - but my heels came out with every step I took I ordered an 11 WW for my big feet - don't usually have a problem with heels being too big. so sad.

As several other reviews stated, the toe box is a bit snug. I cannot wear these shoes day after day as I had hoped but they are stylish and the perfect height for what I need.

Too thin for these wide feet. Heels are at a funny angle and seem to push foot towards vamp that pinches

The heels of these shoes are at an awkward angle. The shoe shape is not good for wide feet as it is a short throw from the top of the rim of the toe piece to the crescent toe. It spreads and makes the front of my foot look like a pancake.. Not good for wide feet!

Lovely shoe, comfortable for my wide foot, but oh the heel slippage! Tried a half size down and my toes were pressed against the end of the shoe.

Cute shoes. Did not fit me well, though, because the heel was too loose to fix with heel pad.

I had high hopes for this shoe. First size I ordered was too big, so I went down 1/2 size and that was so tight & uncomfortable I couldn't bear it. I love the padding, but these is too much and it pushes the tops of your toes against the toe box creating a great deal of pain. I had to return them.

These shoes were not wide enough.

I bought an 8WW (size that I usually order for athletic shoes) and crossed my fingers that I had ordered a comfortable shoe. I so wanted an attractive shoe to wear for a special occasion! Sadly. I "walked out" of this shoe and I have to send it back: my foot lifts out of the heel. The heel seems too wide and the toe box seems narrow. Don't shoe companies know that the heel of the foot is narrower than the front of the foot? Trying again with a smaller size, 7.5WW-- will update when I try this size. I hope this works out.

This is my first pair of Comfortiva shoes. I wanted a pair of shoes that had a chunky heel so that I would not wobble around on a skinny heel. I bought an 8WW- the same size that I wear in my athletic shoes- but my feet walked out of the shoes! I have terribly wide feet so I have sometimes have to buy a size larger and use inserts to have adequate room in the front (toe box). The human foot is wider in the front than in the heel area, so why is the heel made so big and wide in this shoe?? Sending this size back and trying again in a half size smaller-- with fingers crossed!! I really need a pair of shoes for a dressy occasion.

These are not "cute" shoes. They are 'Old lady looking". I only feel comfortable wearing them with dress slacks. I was hoping to find a shoe that I could wear with dresses, not so. I'll keep them because it took longer than promised by Zappo's to deliver.

Too big and too sole hard.

I wear a Lifestride 9.5 wide and purchased the same size for the Comfortiva but my heel lifts off. Will return for an exchange for a 9 wide.

If you’re ready to buy “sensible” shoes, these might be a good choice. It was just what I wanted, except my heels kept slipping out even though I put in a thick shoe inserts, the heels still slipped. However much I wanted them to work, they just weren’t for my feet.

Love this show however it really runs big. I ordered it in an 8 wide and was too big. Reordered in a 7 1/2 w and guess what, still too big. The back of the shoe is too wide and falls off my feet when I walk.

Edge of toe box cut into top of foot to make unbearable by end of day.
