I bought true to my size and they fit perfectly. They are a bit snug on the sides but I want hiking boots to be secured to my feet so it works out. They provide good support and they are wicked cute!

I am traditionally a size 10 shoe, however I needed a size 11. Once I had the bigger size, the fit and feel was good. So if ordering online, I recommend ordering a size up.

I work long days outdoors in sand and on trail. I purchased these shoes in hopes that they would last a little longer than my previous work boots. However, I on my first day wearing them, the seams have already started fraying and it seems like the midsole is already showing signs of separating form the heel. I have never been so disappointed in a pair of hiking boots. I definitely would not recommend these boots to anyone.

Boots worked great for my wife. They were comfortable right out of the box without needing to be broken in. Used them to hike at Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks and loved them. I did order them a half size larger than my normal size, and this worked well.

Would 100% recommend these hiking boots. The reviews are very accurate - size up! I am usually and 8-1/2 or 9 and went for a 9-1/2 and they fit great with hiking socks. I've hiked with these a handful of times now - through creeks, snow, mud, rocks, sand, dirt - and they are excellent! Fantastic hiking boot for a good affordable price.

So comfortable! They were a little tight at first so I didn't know how it would do but I walked 5 1/2 miles in all sorts of terrain including water and my feet stayed dry and super comfortable. It's like the boots molded to my feet!

These were made very well, color and construction excellent. They run a whole size too small. They wear like a boot instead of a waterproof athletic shoe. If they had my size , I would have kept them.

Just what I wanted. I wanted a boot to wear in the winter that i could use for hiking and this is it. Simple, but attractive look. They are comfortable.

Lightweight and handsome boot, AND they run small! I have ordered other Columbia boots in size 10 that were perfect. Not these. Need a 10.5 or 11. Better try them on first.

I ordered the first pair "true to size" and they were too small. So. I sent them back and ordered one size up. The return/exchange was simple & smooth, and the 2nd pair arrived quickly. However, one shoe fit well and the other was very tight. Customer service was very helpful, back went that pair and soon another arrived. At last, victory! I've pretty much worn them every day since. Not hiking, but they're perfect for Michigan winters.... great outside and very comfortable to wear inside all day.

Originally I order my size 7, but my toes hit the top. I ended up going a 1/2 size up. After I put inserts in these hiking boots they're very comfortable. I like that they're waterproof also. I read sizing up in a previous review and I should have taken the advise.

I've worn these on two hiking trails. One of those were to a trail in Point Reyes seashore. I was very impressed because very little sand got inside my shoes. These are also very comfortable and because of the colors show very little dirt.

Love these, but I had to size up. I am usually an 8, sometimes I go down to 7.5, but I had to get these in an 8.5 based on others' reviews, because I planned on wearing them with thick socks for winter hikes. I'm glad I did - I didn't feel they were too big. I didn't need to break them in and wore them on a 24 mile hike the first time - truly amazing. I did a rock scramble at one point, and not gonna lie, these weren't the best for not feeling the rocks under my feet. Although that was only like 1/8th of the last leg of the climb. Did well to keep me dry through snow patches and running water creeks, felt very secure and confident in them. Would recommend.

I find value in spending more money when it ensures higher quality in my purchase, but in some cases, like hiking gear, I can't justify spending top-dollar on top-gear because I am an amateur enthusiast. Columbia Sportswear products have served me very well with rain gear and Drainmaker shoes, so I had confidence in trying the hiking boots. Once again, to my delight, the product was ready-to-wear and began serving me well immediately. No break-in drama, no overlooked flaws, just complete performance from day one. I like the braking quality the tread design provides; the toe-box gives me plenty of room without rub space; the lightweight but durable boot will be a frequent flyer from my closet.

Bought many shows in the past that were Columbia brand. Always wore a 7 1/2. This time bought online and was too small. Doesn't make sense.

Bought a 10 last summer. I wear a 9.5 in regular shoes and figured I could use the extra room for thicker socks. Wore them in CO, NM, North GA mountains and they are broken in. Wish I had ordered a 10.5 because my toes keep hitting the end of the shoe.

I'm between a 9 and 9.5 so I went with the 9.5. Initially it was a little bit of a tight fit but after a few days of being worn in, they loosened up. They provide great ankle support and arch support. They are waterproof as far as I can tell but I also haven't walked through any rivers.

Too short in the toe box. Ordered my normal size as indicated true to size. Order up 1/2 size.

I bought these last minute for an October hiking trip to the North Shore of Lake Superior in MN. Getting the right size was a bit tricky at first, even after reading reviews. I ended up with a full size up from my usual size (10 instead of a 9) and probably could still not wear thick socks, but I honestly feel okay about it. Overall, I'm really happy with the comfort and quality! These shoes required no break-in period and were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I felt they have more structure and support for more strenuous terrain than the ever-popular-on-Instagram Newton Ridge boots, and I find myself reaching for these even for normal daily activity. They're also definitely waterproof, which I usually take with a grain of salt, but after hiking Gooseberry Falls State Park, my feet were still warm and dry. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is a casual hiker as I hope they will hold up well (only time will tell), or would just like a more structured shoe for long outdoor trails.

I bought these and were super happy with the style and weight of this shoe. Unfortunately I had to return the original pair since they run a half size too small, but overall happy with the purchase!
