I bought these for my 13 year old daughter. As other reviewers suggested, I sized up. She normally wears a 9 or 9.5, and I ordered both the 9.5 and 10. It was the 10 that worked.

These were comfortable and felt supportive and stable. However, for hiking boots I really needed a wide width, and these did not come in wide. Also, they lace through holes all the way to the top, instead of having the little hooks that you hook the laces around. For me, the unlacing and loosening to get them off after a hike would have been a major annoyance.

These are very comfortable hiking boots. They are not high, but high enough to support your ankle. They are a very good value for the price. I tried other ones that were more expensive and did not fit as well.

Awesome support! Surprised how cushioned and supportive these boots are. I was looking forward to wearing them on a book club retreat, but need a larger size and they are out of stock. On my initial order, I ordered another Columbia boot at the same time, the Redmond Mid Waterproof, and it was significantly smaller with no support or cushion. .

Size felt fine and width was too. The top seemed to crush the tops of my toes at the metatarsal area. Very uncomfortable! Sent them back immediately. Style looked great and size felt true even though I wear a 5 5-1/2. Wish they would have worked out.

I bought two pairs of Columbia boots in different styles, both size 6.5. The other pair was too big; my heel was lifting too much. This pair was too small -- I could barely get into them. There were no size 7's in stock, so I ended up having to return both and go with a completelly different brand. I really liked the style of these boots and they're well-made, so it's a shame that Columbia can't get its sizing more consistent from one style to another.

Bought these as a gift for a 12 year old girl. She normally wears a size 8 had to wear a 9 in these shoes. She said they were extremely comfortable without any need for breaking in. Took them on an easy trail hike today with no issues.

Too small in my regular size

These boots were comfortable from the minute I put them on. The support and traction are great. I haven't gone hiking yet but wonderful in the house!

I normally wear a 7.5. Needed an 8.5 even with a regular sock.
