I love these hiking boots. This is the second pair I have bought of these in the last few months so I can leave one pair at my son's house on the opposite coast. They were comfortable from day 1. They are wonderfully supportive.

Boots look exactly like in the picture and fit well. They seem comfortable, tho I haven't worn them during the hiking yet.

Sole itself is about 1/4 inch narrower than another brand I've used, which width I need (I'd actually hoped for a wider sole than the other brand). The waterproofing of the shoe also tightens the material of the upper of the shoe considerably; even though I sized up a full size, this shoe was uncomfortably tight. Definitely not possible for me to hike wearing these. A couple of stars because it's a nice looking shoe, but it's not for people with wide, three-dimensional feet.

I have multiple pairs of boots from multiple companies, and these boots from Columbia are my favorites. They're sturdy yet lightweight, very comfortable, and they provide great traction. The materials are top-notch and they're extremely well made. I'm very happy I discovered these!

I ended up going a whole size up from my dress shoe size in order to get enough length that my toes don't touch the front on the downhills. I kinda wish these came extra wide - especially in the toe box and slightly above the toes. But these should do just fine. You may not need to go a full size up, but I needed to fit in new insoles (which also might be why my foot is so close to the top of the shoe). I haven't hiked in them yet but trust that Columbia will hold up for me.

Light weight, true to size. Comfortable and good traction. Walked 4 miles the first day on pavement/grass and dirt. Grass was a little wet and my feet were dry!

I'm usually an 8.5. Decided to get half a size bigger after reading some reviews, and it fits nicely. great cushioning and traction, and no blister after the first try. Generally lightweight too. im going to use it on a trip with light snow, this should allow me to wear slightly thicker socks.

I wore this for my trip to Hokkaido earlier this year, and these shoes can withstand shallow snow and rain! They're also very comfortable with great support. Really satisfied with these boots. For thick wool socks, I would size up, but otherwise recommend buying in true to size.

I bought this shoe based on a recommendation from my friend who hikes frequently in Colorado because I'm going to Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks in April.

These hiking boots are really cute. They were a little snug at first, due to padding/fabric in the shoe. I wore them around the house for a day and then they felt perfect. I ordered the size I normally wear I did not size up and they feel great. Cute with jeans. And warm in MInnesota Winter.

These hiking boots are cute, comfortable snd great for just wearing around or to grip the ground for easy to moderate hikes. I would drfinutelt commend them if you are looking fur a versatile hiking book. Also, not too tall for hiking and roomy to wear a regular or even thicker sock.

Great hiking boots! Very comfortable. Have worn them several times now and love how light they are. They do run a bit small so if you wear heavy socks, may want to go up a half size.

I bought this boot on a whim whe. We decided to go for a 4 day camping trip in a very remote location. I could not be happier that I did! At the start they were extremely comfortable, good support for both arches and ankles. Not once did they slip or hurt. We did A LOT of hiking. Two days in, we were hit with an awful storm that prevented us from getting back to our camp site with our vehicle. I decided to hike up the mountain in the pouring rain the three miles to camp, get our gear, and hike back down. When I say it was raining, I mean I was soaked to the bone despite heavy rain gear. The only thing that remained dry was my feet! Even trudging through water, my toes stayed dry. Not a single blister to be found, either. Columbia Sportswear gained a very loyal customer that night. I'll never wear anything else!

I bought these because they were labeled waterproof and I needed waterproof shoes for my job. They leaked my first day wearing them. I stepped in water for a second and water seeped in around the toe. I walked through dewy grass for a couple hours another day and my socks were soaked around the toe. I'm really disappointed in the quality after spending $100 on these boots. I'll give them credit for being comfortable, although they run small. I wear an 8 and I could have sized up to a 9.
