I am a fan of the converse look, but Converse are too narrow for my foot. After reading reviews that the Taos Retro were a bit wider, I decided to try them. I am so glad I did. I love these Taos! I bought my true size ahead of a trip to Vegas. I wore them around my house for a day first. They were a bit tight across the widest part of my foot but within my traveling day had stretched out. I wore them all weekend, walking up and down the strip with no issues! I also have problem feet and have orthotics, so was thriled these had some arch support.

Such cute shoes! Fit is good. Not as much cushion as the Taos Plim Soul but still comfortable.

These shoes were true to size. They have good arch support and are very comfortable. I'm considering ordering another pair in a different color.

Very cute and comfortable! Standing and walking all day is no problem, these have arch support and some support behind and under the heel. My mom also has a pair and she loves them. So far it's been great.

I purchased three different pairs of red sneakers and these ones were the winners. Great arch support and beautiful colour. I have a pair of Keens (Elsa) that I wear often and they are a little wider in the toe box, but have less arch support. Happy with my choice.

I love this shoe. It's very comfortable, looks good, and has good arch support. I also ordered the Ecco Soft7 sneaker, which was equally as good. Since I could not buy them both, I finally decided on the Ecco sneaker, just because a white sole, rather than a tan sole, goes better with my clothes. Thank you Zappos for giving me the option of a choice!

Love these! Have have fallen arches and a bunion and these were ridiculously comfortable right out of the box. No break-in period. I will take these on my trip to Ireland in the spring because they are so comfy, so supportive and cute!

These sneakers are extremely comfortable. I have a very high arch, so I am not accustomed to feeling much arch support in any shoes, but I do with these! Love them!

I absolutely love this shoe. I bought a half size larger than my normal size but returned them for my regular size which fit great. They come with an extra set of white laces which I prefer over the black. I wear these with jeans or to work in my scrubs and have gotten lots of compliments.

This shoe is so cute! Very comfortable. Great heel support. It just made my foot look twice as long as it is. Had to send it back.

Was looking for red shoes for fun and these are more a cranberry to brick color. As soon as I opened the box I knew the color was wrong but I put them on to see how the fit was for this brand. I normally wear 8 - 8.5 and I purchased the size 9. WOW. It not only fit perfect, these are amazing comfortable shoes. I wore them for an hour trying to figure out what I could wear them with because they are the comfort you wish every pair of shoes or sneakers had right out of the box. My foot shape is a square toe area and high arches. the toe box is roomy and the cushioning is plush. Definitely fits a high arch so it could be very uncomfortable for a narrow, flat foot. There's a card in the box that tells you the color will transfer from the shoe so beware of this as I know from experience it will mar the hems of pants that rub it. Also the cranberry is accented with cream laces and sole so it would not look good with white.

Loved the shoe, should have ordered a 10. I normally wear between a 9 and a 10 so I ordered a 9 1/2. The arch was great but the shoe is very flat and quite hard bottomed, no cush what so ever. Am returning them.

I really like this shoe, the leather uppers, the color and style it just was too short. I am a size 8, and after reading other reviews I ordered an 8 1/2 but it was also too short. I'm returning them but will re-order a size 9.

I ordered these hoping they would have great arch support. And they do!!! I have a job that requires a lot of walking. These sneakers are perfect for my casual days at work that are SO active. I hope to buy more colors to add to my wardrobe!

These are amazing! They are super comfortable on the first wear. I am working through a plantar fasciitis issue and these are very cushioned and comfortable. I tend to have a little bit of a wide foot and these are perfect. I tried the wide (in canvas) and they were too wide. The style is super cute!

Love these shoes! I have two pair of Taos: the white leather and the blue canvas. Very cute, better arch support than expected and low cut around my achilles (some sneakers come up too high in the back). Do take note to order a half size larger - I typically wear a 5.5 but ordered a 6 of both pair and they are perfectly sized.

I was surprised at the good arch support of these insoles. They are so good, I don't have to use my orthotics. And the best part is, my orthotics do fit if I choose to use them. I can wear the Retro Star all day (I stand at my computer), take a walk at lunch and my feet are fairly happy by the end of the day. They are super cute with no show socks and work with shorts, capris, or long pants. I would recommend giving these a try!

Super cute and comfy sneaker - even my fashion conscience teenager gave a 100% thumbs up! I would order a half size up. I ordered my normal size (despite reading the other reviews) had to exchange for halk size larger.

I ordered a 9 in the ice suede and an 8.5 in the khaki. The 8.5 felt a little short and I thought the 9 would be good but preferred the khaki color. I ordered the 9 in the khaki but when I wore them around the house after 10 minutes I felt like I was going to get a blister from them slipping. I tried to pull the laces tighter but they slipped. Disappointed because otherwise they seemed like they would be really comfortable and they are cute. Probably should have kept the 8.5. I wear 8.5 in Merrell if that helps anyone.

Comfortable right out of the box and super cute. Bought them in black and white leather.

I have the Taos Star in canvas and ordered an 11. I assumed these would fit the same. The whole show is bigger (maybe by a half size). Since it's leather it should also stretch with wear. If a 10.5 is available I'll order it. Otherwise I guess it's back to the canvas.

This is my first experience with the TAOS brand and I LOVE them! I normally wear custom orthotics for a high arch. These shoes have excellent arch support, so there is no need to wear my orthotics - I'm going to see if this is typical of this brand, or just this shoe. I love the look AND the comfort!

I ordered both the Retro Star and Star. Normally a size 11, I ordered a 12 (nobody makes an 11-1/2; why?). I’m keeping the Retro Star (blue) - they are plenty big in the toe bed, hopefully not too big. Returning the Star (pink) bc it felt and looked looser/bigger in the toe bed, even tho I understand from other reviews that they are the same? Maybe it was an optical illusion from the lighter color. Anyway, very happy with these.

Love, love, love these shoes! So cute! In the past, I've had a couple of different styles of Keds white sneakers, which really aren't bad! These, though, are definitely more comfortable with a higher end look. They definitely have good support. So you know though, its more of a firm support, not a soft cushy support. Just a note for ladies with a little bit wider foot... I sometimes wear a medium, but probably more often a wide. I was having a hard time finding a white sneaker I liked the look of in a wide, so I gave this one a chance. So glad I did! I went up a half size from my normal one and loosened the laces slightly. Then the heel on one shoe slipped slightly- but that was nothing that Foot Petals couldn't fix! Couldn't be happier with this purchase. :) P.S. Thanks Zappos for making returns and exchanges so easy! I tried a couple of pairs before finding these. Helped me find the shoes I was looking for!
