I love this mat but it is extremely slippery for hot yoga.

I just started practicing yoga and this is the mat that was recommended to me. Seems like a very high quality mat :)

I wish I would have researched this more before purchasing. There are innumerable threads online about customers using the salt break-in method to no avail and resorting to kitchen degreasers/ hard scrubbing. The mat is good. I'm just annoyed that the brand misleads customers into thinking salt and sun is an effective break in method. You should sell the mat ready-to-use or provide methods that are effective / science-based. Also, no one wants to slip on a mat for a month to break it in. Cut the woo woo salt method! It is silly.

Zero grip whatsoever, durable material, not comfortable.

Its sturdy, solid and such pretty colors. I leave mine at the studio and dont have to transport it, so the heavy weight is not an issue. Im a yoga teacher, and people have asked me for mat recs, and I refer everyone to the Manuka pro. I let someone borrow mine to try, and shes now about to buy the same one.

Love it, different feeling of practicing. Cannot wait to practice for a life time :)

Love the red color, and love the mat. 3 of us teachers in my studio now use the Manduka Pro, plus at least two others so far, and more soon Im sure! Its the best mat.

Its big and beautiful! My boyfriend has had this mat for years and I finally decided it was time for me to have one too. Thick and cushy. Gorgeous colour.

Its awesome! Though I may need to get another color as using the same one for years I may get sick of it. Curious why the 6mm is the only one that didnt go on sale though. Thought Id better get the thickest one otherwise I may regret it. It really is great on my knees, grips so well and all around great

This is my second Manduka Pro yoga mat in 6mm. The first one I purchased was coral which I loved and just for a change in color, I decided to buy the Odyssey Blue. I have used other mats and none can compare to the quality of Manduka. Though the mat is rather heavy, the thickness of it cushions my knees and the mat does not shift. The mat was shipped and arrived in a timely manner and was very well packaged along with the mat cleaners. Though it was unnecessary for me to return anything in the shipment, I appreciate that Manduak made the process very simple by enclosing a return label with the shipment.

Too heavy for me, unfortunately returning it

Absolutely in love with my new mat! I originally purchased this mat in Verve (red) and was disappointed that the colour wasn't quite like it appeared on-screen. I ordered Deep Dark Sea instead and I'm so, so, so in love with the colour I smile every time I hop on my mat! The mat is still quite slippery, but I'm confident I will wear it in in no time.

Very good mat!

I love it already. It was slippery at first but after a few practices its already less so. Love the color so much. I prefer this mat to one I had before, from another leading brand. Very happy with the whole buying process too.

Good Quality

This is a great matt. I'm 6'4" and this is my first long matt. It feels good to have my head and feet on the matt with the rest of my body lol. The thick padding feels amazing. No more trying to fit a yoga matt that's not my size!!! Thanks Manduka
