Love my new mat! Its durable and I did the salt over the mat for 24 hrs when I first got it. This was to help break it in and it was open to repeat this as frequently as I want. This particular mat is 100% latex-free and am so happy this exists since I have a latex-allergy. Ive practiced with Manduka for over a decade for that reason. Essentially these mats have a lifetime warranty and thats if you upkeep it. I didnt do that with my last Manduka mat but am now diligent with wiping my new mat down after practice.

edges were kinda damagd in two places, too heavy and cumbersome to return so just living with it but sad to spend that much and get a sorta dinged up product

Nearly perfect, only the covering of the surface feels uncomfortable and the procedure to remove is time consuming, because I had to repeat it 3 times. It was the same when I bought my old manduka mat about 10 years ago. Why is it not possible to produce the mat without this covering or to remove it bevor sale?

Its very hard to roll up tightly after class. Plus- You are suppose to also roll it so the side you use is on the outside of the roll. This makes it so hard to roll unless you flip it over on the yoga studio floor. Its slippery in heat. It is too heavy. I hope I can get use to it because it was very expensive.

The mat is really compact and durable, offering good grip for practice.

Love the color and the thickness protects my joints. Truly living up to it's name, "the cadillac of yoga mats"!

Love the thickness

I like it a lot. I use it with a mysore rug. At first its a bit slippery - as expected - so the rug would move. But even without salt treatment it already starts to get grippier already after maybe 5 practices (2 h each). I like the density so my knees wont hurt after a few repetitions of Kapotasana. Its heavy though, but I leave it in the studio. Currently I would buy again.

Absolutely love my mat! This is my second one of this specific type and it's wonderful. Great quality provides a supporting base for my daily yoga practice.

The mat is super slippery. I put salt and left it for 24 hrs before using the mat. But the min I sweat it gets all slippery and there is no grip. I dont know if its the right mat for hot or warm yoga.
