Quite honestly I am going back to Brooks. I find they are a little more suited to my feet. Nothing wrong with the NB but sometimes the shoes just don't fit the feet.

This shoe has changed since I started buying it years ago. I used to buy a 2wide and now I bought the 6wide annd it is still snugg
maybe because it is made in China. It is well made except for the size.

Fit a little loose but was to heavy and hot for Arizona.

I work in sales and customer service. I'm always on my feet. The shoes are very comfortable and had to wash and reuse my old arch support insoles. This is because, New Balance does not produce top quality and comfortable arch support Insoles anymore!!

Unfortunately, we had to return these shoes because they didn’t provide the
support that my husband needs.

I have probably ordered or bought through a store over 30 pair of these shoes since they came out. 4 to 5 times (even though I ordered two pair at a time) the shoe's fit differently. Sometimes one pair was perfect and the other pair seemed to be as much as a 1/2 size larger or smaller. I just ordered two pair within a week of each other and the first pair were perfect. I just got the second pair and they are a bit shorter and narrower than the one's received the week before. This is really the only shoe I wear as I have an artificial right ankle and the bottom right side will wear out quicker than usual. I most likely am sending the second pair back and then ordering another to see if I can find a match. I do not know why they would be different. Do you?

The tweaks made from V2 to V3 do not make my feet happy. I have been wearing these shoes since they first came out- and IMHO they should go back to V2. The heel cup isn't as stable on this version, and they seem a bit stiffer- but maybe after break in that will take care of itself. I actually had to return the mesh version (which I prefer) because there was too much slip at the heel. The other walker I wore regularly was the AISICS gel- but the higher end version has been discontinued. At least NB keeps making this shoe- even if this version is a big step backwards.

This was our last purchase from new balance. They are not an American made company.

product fits very well but I have not been able to eliminate them from squeaking. Maybe they are made that way to warn all the dogs in the neighborhood when the mailman is approaching.

This is a walking shoe? I would prefer more cushion from the ball of the foot to the toe. Great heel support and comfort there. The arch support is not as functional as on my other older NB shoes. Same comments made by others reviewing optional sole inserts. To thin.

Funny how I thought buying New Balance meant buying American; the are comfortable. Wish they were a little darker

I have purchased this shoe on several occasions first, second and now third version. Other reviews here and elsewhere faulted V3 because the tongue was too short. I didn't notice that at first, but after wearing them for several months I have to agree that the tongue is too short. As the shoe breaks in,
the tongue position shifts. You wind up with the top lacing beyond the end of the tongue. This makes the shoes look cheap. I hope the manufacturer checks these reviews and corrects this problem.

T!his is to be a Christmas gift so haven't been used yet. They do look good and I feel like they are what we are looking for.

I wear the shoes almost daily. Unfortunately, they have given me a blister.

I wear these on a daily basis . I purchase because they are the only 6E leather on the market. I'm on my feet at work and I have to replace the insoles in about a month, as they compress and then my foot moves.

The quality of these shoes seems to be slipping, these are expensive shoes and are very seldom included in sales or special deals. I would expect them to be top of the line..I need a deep and wide toe box, V3 is better then V2, but neither are as good as the original 928 or even the 927.. I wore these shoes less than a week and one of the lace holes ripped. I have a pair that I have for a year and the holes are all fine. The material seems to be of cheaper quality then the older versions. I once got a pair of 928v2 that had a strong odor. I returned them to the store where I purchased them and they took them back. I wrote a note to New Balance, but never heard a word from anyone. I would have given this shoe 5 Stars a couple of years ago. Since they were moved offshore the quality has gone down.

I just walked two miles in these shoes and they are fine. I am not please with any shoe I buy as they all feel as though I am walking on marbles, even this new shoe. I have tried inserts from my foot doctor and from Doctor Scholl. I have tried different socks. Nothing seems to stop this problem. This has been a discomfort for me for about 10 years. I guess I will just live with it.

I use for walking. Looks are good. Fit was different than previous models with a little more room front to back. The tongue is shorter and laces cinch up closer to the toes which isn't that comfortable for me. For being the most expensive shoes from NB I own, they come in last place for fit.

from pronator's perspective: not enough support when your foot rolling inward (overpronation), not enough long tongue, not enough stiff heel collar, a little hard cushion(maybe after some breaking period it changes), las but not least - seems to fit better for someone with fat foot than normal

Personal daily use. The shoe string gap is too wide. Shoe strings are too short.

Have bought this same shoe for over 10 years and they just keep making them cheaper. Tongue is too short, laces are way too short and overall quality is lacking. I will wear them as there is nothing else on the market that meets my needs.

I like the quality of the shoes, but I have worn several other NB shoes in the past and have always needed a 11.5 size shoe. These seem to have more room in the toe than I have been used to. Not sure if this model runs large or not.

When I ordered these sneakers online, I thought I would be getting a replacement pair for my current go to sneakers. These shoes are not all leather and not like the pair I currently wear. I am returning them and going to a New Balance store to buy the correct pair. The shoes are probably good but not the ones that I want,

Over the years (at least five or six) I have purchased men's New Balance model 928, 928 v2, 928 v3 (multiple pairs of the v2) The "roll bar" feature is especially important to me.
Something has changed in the v3. I have always purchased size 11, 4E width shoes. The v3 I recently purchased is different from the earlier versions in two respects. One: the v3 is a looser fit I needed a show horn for the earlier versions to get them on and I liked that they were a more snug fit. Two: the tongue in the v3 wants to slide down under the laces and I have to pull it back up after a short time of wearing the shoes.
The 928 is my preferred shoe I just wonder why there seems to be a change in the way the shoe fits in v3.
Sincerely,
George
