Customer Reviews New Balance 928v3

New Balance cut corners when they made V.3 without passing on the savings to their customers. Instead, they replaced the firm support that used to be in the front part of the shoe with a soft substitute. It's as if they took the strong heel from one shoe and attached it to a worn out tennis shoe. If you do any serious walking, they only last half the time the V.2's did. The real disappointment is the fact that these are the only shoes I can wear because of the roll-bar, which alone deserves three stars. Shame on New Balance for not passing on the savings from removing the support from the front part of the shoe to the customers.

Super comfortable and well-made, but looked too dorky to keep.

Men's 11B (narrow). More room in the toe than I'm used to. The real complaint is they have not held up well. The stitching is coming loose on both shoes; on the left shoe the leather has torn on top where the laces start.

These were too large

The shoe was heavy and narrow and very difficult to lace because the eyelets are leather and the tongue tab doesn't make it easy to tighten the toe box area. The heel/toe drop is too high for my low aches so when the heel hits the ground there's no forefoot contact with the ground, so you may be prone to rotate that heel and twist your knee. The shoe may work for a high arch person.

Since the New Balance 928v3 shoes were offered in the extra wide width I thought I'd try them. They were a bit longer than expected. Would have tried the next smaller size but the arch was too high and uncomfortable for me. They looked good but just didn't work.

These shoes were pretty tight. Seems like new balance likes making narrow shoes now.

My foot is very large in width, and the 10.5 at XXL was just too long. So the replacements of 10.0 was not clearly marked as the width, and they were too narrow for my very large feet. so sorry to have to send them back, again. But I love the look of them.

Whats going on with New Balance? Sizes aren't the same anymore. I have a old 813 which is no longer available, but was the Best fitting style, wider toe box and looked cute. They are a 9.5, now too small, as I washed them. This style 928 bought a 9.5 and they are more like a size 10 and my heel can slip right out of them. I get tired of having to send things back, so not sure I want to try a 9, haven't worn this size in awhile.

Stiff, did not break in well.

Been wearing narrow shoes for longer than Zappos has been in business. No one seems to know what a narrow shoe is any more. Everyone seems to think if you have a long foot it has to be wide. I am not a duck. My foot is unusual as it is long and narrow. 14 A. Narrow.

The shoes were very nice, but did not fit... NB seems to use different patterns, so even though the shoe was a 4E width, it was narrower than other NB that i have bought in the past... am returning shoes

I find shoes that curl up at the toe odd and 'not right'.

Don't know what new balance has done but all the 6E width seem narrow and I can't wear anymore .... sad
