Great stable shoes, comfortable to wear all over. My podiatrist recommends them. I do wish NB would keep the width size consistent with D, E, EE, 4E, etc.

This is second pair of NB928v3's that I have bought from Zappo's. They were recommended by the maker of my orthotics. I have CMT and wear the orthotics with a carbon fiber AFO. I am 67 years old. I wear a 9.5 and get the extra wide 6E width. (I remove the NB inner sole) These shoes have plenty of room for the AFO, orthotic and my foot. I can wear them all day. Thanks for the great service Zappo.

The original 928 always fit me perfectly. It is very hard for me to find shoes that are wide enough. When the 928v2 came out, I was very disappointed because even though I purchased the same size that I always ordered of the original, they didn't even come close to being wide enough (6E width). Reading other costumer reviews, I noticed that many people had the same complaint. I was able to find old stock online of the original 928 in my size but these finally wore out, so I was relieved too see that the v3 returned to the same fit as the original.

This is my preferred shoe for winter wear. Has the appearance of formal footwear while being extremely comfortable. Especially like the increased length of the tongue over previous design.

I have to wear large full-length orthotics. These shoes are amazing. They help keep my ankles from curving inward. I can really see a difference in the shoe with the rollbar. It has been a God-send. My ankles turn in so much that I have to change tennis every 3-4 months. Thank goodness these are made of leather. The leather also gives me extra support. I would not be able to walk were it not for these shoes.

This is my second pair of the 928 model, and it is the only shoe that I can be on my feet all day wearing. It's well-made and very comfortable. I also have a gray suede pair (same model), and they are just as good!

My right foot and ankle are fused, and I have some difficulties with walking and keeping my balance. This model of New Balance walking shoe has a built-in roll bar that adds extra stiffness and stability to the shoe which helps me. Also the heal and toe are rounded up, which helps me to roll through when I walk with my fused right foot and ankle.

I purchased my walking shoes at the NB store. In the past, I purchased my NB shoes at shoe outlet stores. This time I was fitted properly and treated very well by the associate. The comfort and support from these shoes I experienced was a tremendous feeling. I will continue to buy New Balance shoes.

perfect fit for my foot. have v1 of the 983 and there are differences. The heel is a tad narrower, I like the way that feels. the gap between the eyelets is about 1/2' wider on v3 compared to v1. that has not been an issue, yet.
fyi - I tried a pair of size 11.5 - 813s. My toe hit the front of the shoe so I went with the 983v3.

Only shoes that feel comfortable with my Morton's Neuroma. All leather easy to take care of, love having the choice of tan. Everyone has the white that are not all leather and hard to keep clean.

Have been wearing the 1st version for several years, absolutely a great shoe. Ordered a pair of the 318s, same 115. size but 4E, not 6E. A 12 - 4E, probably would have worked, but I ordered v3 983s. Great toe fit and I like the narrower heel, feels great, snug. Have not compared anything else. I like them. Hope I need to order v6.

I have tried so many shoes and this shoe is perfect because it has a big toe box, comes extra wide and has arch support. It also has cushioning in the heel and toe areas.

This is just a comfortable walking shoe that I can use for side walk and moderate trail walking. It is also my go-to travel shoe for hauling luggage through airports.
