They are seldom available in my size, 11 2E. I would buy more pairs if they were but I can only find them on the website every 6 months or so and never at my local store. I'm looking for an alternative since these are so hard to find.

My husband has bought this style on tennis shoes for at least 25 years. We don't have a store here that carries the 6E he needs for his foot. Ordering online was quick and easy and the shoes got to our house within three days. Excellent!

Yes, I would buy it again, although I've only had this pair for about 3 weeks. But they fit well, are comfortable, and look good. I need a narrow width shoe, and am so appreciative of New Balance making these and others available in B widths.

Comfortable fitting shoes, Plenty of room for my diabetic inserts with plenty of room in the toe box area, I was concerned about the double heights not being enough room with my edema condition, but turns out to have just as much extra height as my other triple height shoes. I'm planning on purchasing another pair of the 928V3 to keep two shoes on hand, one for everyday shoe and the other for casual

The walking shoes make me feel like I am floating on air. I had ordered the wrong size and then lost the box. Not only did NB send me a new pair of shoes in the correct size, but they told me not to bother sending the wrong size ones back. Although I have no use for them I gave them to a charity and I am totally enjoying wearing my new shoes in the correct size. I could not be more pleased.

These shoes are my walking shoes, 3-5 miles every morning, all seasons (with strap-on cleats in the winter). Light, comfortable and each pair lasts about 300 miles. If they were high-tops I would consider mountain hiking in them as well.

The 928 is my go to shoe for everyday wear. I always keep 2 pairs around: 1 for when I need a nice pair of shoes and an older pair I use around the yard adn garden.

My husband has slim, thin feet, but likes to walk for hours. It is hard finding not only a narrow in men's shoes, but also slim through the forefoot. He laces them on as many holes as the shoe will lace, and has them as snug across the forefoot as he can get it. Might have to try Women's walking shoes. These were just too thick for him, but might fit fine with a normal foot.

My usual New Balance store closed so I went online and ordered. Process was easy and received both pair of shoes very fast. My right shoe has to have the sole split and a 1" build up inserted. The repair shop had no problem with either pair of shoes and they look and feel great! Great service.

The fit was great. The width was accurate. I had these shoes in brown leather. The brown was a smoother full grain leather. These were a pebble grain. They are practical as a work shoe in an office setting. They are comfortable and all over black which is ideal when you are not allowed to wear multi color shoes. I like the urethane outsoles they are firm and the bottom has a non slip rubber molded into the urethane.

I have had many NB shoes in the past. There is a definite benefit to opting up to a higher model. This one has great cushion and support. With COVID-19, I have been walking a lot more with the gyms closed and this shoe has improved those walks and increased my speed and range.

This is my fourth pair of 990's. I walk, exercise, 4.5 miles a day, everyday, for years. Wer holes in my shoes. Glue rubber patches in the toe of my left shoe to extend the life. These are the most comfortable shoes ever,,,,,

I walk these shoes to death. A mile with the dogs then five fast miles alone each morning (on Canandaigua's beautiful sidewalks). I will buy again and again, in part because they last less than three months. I do like them.

I bought this shoe several weeks ago looking for a decent "walking" shoe for everyday wear since I have been doing a lot of walking lately! I have been having metatarsal pain and I wanted good fit, cushion and comfort, and I found it in this shoe. The narrow width fits perfectly, the stride is solid. I'm about to buy a second pair.
