The shoe look nice and I am sure it would have been been comfortable but narrow by your standards was still to wide to fit my foot.

Hate when I have to spend over$125 to get a fair pair of shoes and then have to spend an additional $40 to get some real insoles! When I first started buying NB even the low end walking shoes were a great shoe

Ugly shoe but well made love new balance shoes will try another style for sure.

Have been wearing them for 2 wks or more.Supportive but needed extra cushioning.Good motion control too.

Nice sneaker but runs large and not what I was looking for after all.

No where near as comfortable as my fresh foams. Unfortunately, I can't get those in all black. These are not attractive shoes, but they will do for work.

Excellent shoe while it lasts. I purchased the shoe April 2018 and by early Nov 2018 the rear half of the sole on one foot detached from the shoe. I walk 3+ miles every other day. I wonder how long my repair with Gorilla Glue will hold. I had a similar issue with another New Balance shoe.

The shoe is nice, very comfortable. It just had too much space . The size 13 shoe fit like a 13 1/2. I returned the shoes.

Please read these reviews. It is all true. My foot falls to the inside on my right foot. Too much material on side. It is too big in heal. The 847 was perfect. You just ruined it. Why why why? The v2 couldn't wear . Yikes baby boomers lived the old 847.

I have narrow feet. The toe box on these is wider than the 847V2 I have and even wider than the 990V4 I usually wear. I would not purchase these again for that reason.

I need a higher level shoe for working at the Post Office. The V3 is alright, but would have preferred the 847v2. The V3 seemed to run slightly larger than the V2.

They are not the same as the original 847. They keep messing it up. I'm wondering if they do read these reviews. So here goes too much material on side . Also heal is too wide. Toes box too high. Is there another new balance shoe I can wear? I just kept these and am wearing them .Not like the older versions. Not the v2 either that was really junk.. Baby boomers need there old version back!

I have been wearing the NB walking shoes for years. I loved the 847, even though I would have to buy a larger size than all my other shoes. The v3 is back to being true to size, but not in a good way. There is no insole, and the toe box is too big, the shoe longer than before, so beware. And the v3 has no pizazz to the style at all, just a clunky black shoe. I loved the almost patent leather design on the 2, and the stylish print on the soft parts around the heel. This one has no design interest at all. It is ok for walking if I wear a thick sock, but if not, they feel like they could fall off. I am a daily walker and have relied on my NB shoes for years. I am so disappointed with this model....a cheaper version at a higher price.

i wear these everyday for work. They are comfortable and hold up well.

Very nice look shoes

Have worn NB since the late 80s in a variety of styles, but especially the 84- walking series. The 847v3 is a real disappointment because the heel is does not fit. I have worn a lift in the left foot and have never had the problem I have with this shoe. I kept wearing it hope that it would finally conform to my foot, but no luck so far.

Unfortunately, there is a very limited availability of shoes in my size. This is one of only two NB makes in my size. The last pair - soles fell apart after about a year. This pair has a slightly different sole design. NB told me that after a while the glue they use to manufacture these dries out and weakens. The new pair had a manufacture date six months old when I received them. NB shoes have also been shrinking. When I started buying them my size was 10.5. I'm now buying 11.5 and they are marginally tight. My feet stoped growin 40+ years ago.

I feel these shoes catch rocks. I took a Terri I feel these shoes catch rocks and I took a terrible spill. I thought it was just a random thing, but I noticed it again, but did not fall that time. I always have used the 847s but these have a different sole.

I use these shoes for walking everywhere. I have a problem with my feet, as I tend to place my weight on the outside of my feet. This style seems to be just the thing for me. I have however had a problem with the last two pairs of shoes, the thing is the heel on the right shoe of both pair squeaks, glad the are not sneakers

I was looking for a new shoe with some color. I have worn 928's for many years. Most recent pair of 928's ran small and caused issues with my toes, so I ordered these. Tried them on and while there is plenty of room in the toe box, they are at least 1/2 to 1 size too large. What is going on with your sizing?

I wouldn't buy this shoe on line again because the fit is much different than the New Balance 623's that I normally wear. I purchased a size 10.5 medium shoe problem is while the 10.5 is the correct size the medium is much narrower than the shoes I normally purchase.

I have owned New Balance for years. I generally get the running shoe. I still have a pair of 860v10s, but they are wearing out and since I walk, rather than run, most of the time, I thought I would try out the walking shoe, since you were having a 30% off sale. I picked them up from my mailbox store yesterday and have worn them several times on my walks. My initial impression of the way that they look is like they are the sort of shoes that would be given to a person just let out of the asylum. The plastic accents are really cheap looking and all around they just don't look good. But I figured they would at least be as comforable as my 860s. Nope, they pintch the tops of my feet. I am hoping to break them in. Although they are not up to my standards, I paid quite a bit for them, so I intend to get my money's worth. Do better. Just because a person walks rather than runs, doesn't mean they want ugly shoes. I will be buying 860s from here out.

The toe box is too narrow and mostly because it's too flat for me. The shoe looks wide but doesn't have vertical height. Also the outside of the heal curves in slightly so doesn't provide support for me to prevent rolling my ankle.

Fit wasn't great. Not happy with purchase. Will rethink purchasing anything online from new balance again.

I loved the style and size of the model before these. These run big! All the way around, longer, deeper, wider.
