Like style of shoe and it does fit my very narrow foot which is hard to find. Had to order a half size larger as my usual size was too short. I use these for walking. Good cushioning and comfortable.

This shoe was not for me--to be specific, not for my narrow foot. I wear a AAA and these of course only come in a AA. They were narrow enough in the heel but too wide in the front part of the shoe. They looked silly on my narrow foot since the sole extends on the side beyond the body of the shoe--for stability, I assume. Also, I had to go up a size and a half so the length would be correct. As a plus, they were much lighter than previous New Balance running shoes I have owned. Fit is everything, however, so back they go.

Fantastic color on a pair of comfy sneakers which I will use for walking only.

A very cute shoe and overall nice. There was good toe room and good arch support (I have flat feet). The problem I had and caused me to return them, was I could feel that after wearing them for any extended period of time, my bunion whould be rubbing too much on the side :(

The 860 v8 is way more comfy than this model - which was recommended to me for more cushion than the 860! This shoe felt stiffer and had a "speed bump" of cusion inside, near the ball of the foot.

The shoes are extremely comfortable. No break in period at all. My only complaint is that the tongue slides to the side. That doesn't happen with my other New Balance shoes.

I have an unusually narrow and thin foot size 8&1/2-9 narrow. These New Balance 1260V7 have a nice narrow fit, but was 1/4-1/2 size short, my toe was right at the tip of the comfort zone of a 9 narrow, need to decide if it's too close, so you might want to order 1/2 size-up. the support for arch is "meh," nice snug heel fit. I saw complaints about not having enough room in toe box because of the "pointy" shape of toe box, compared to other shoes (ie Brooks, much more room in narrow width toe box). Was it worth how much it cost? not sure, haven't decided if I'm gong to keep them or get next size-up or try a pair of Brooks narrows, I've tried Brooks narrow shoes that have had a slightly better fit and arch support and cost slightly less (Brooks Ghost from 2 years ago, but I didn't like the new design for 2018 at all, they have a couple of different styles w/narrow width). I'm not sure if I'm going to keep these New Balance because my toe tip is so close to the edge of the comfort zone in tip of the toe box, because I don't think my heel would have a snug fit if I go-up 1/2 size for more room in toe box. I'll have to try w/different pair of thinner running socks, maybe thinner running socks would be better than the thick-bottom Gold Toe Maxspun socks I normally wear because my feet are so narrow and thin. The New Balance narrow 1260V7 were a fairly comfortable narrow fit, but I've had Brooks narrow shoes that fit better and had more arch support and had more room in the toe box, but the Brooks were slightly less narrow and I had to wear the Maxspun thick socks w/those. Hope this was helpful, esp. for anybody that has a hard-to-fit narrow foot. If I do not buy a narrow shoe, I have to put inserts/orthotics in the shoe, I did not need to do that w/these narrow New Balance shoes.

The NB 1260 has been a good shoe for some time now and a winner in my book due to the excellent width choices. However, it does run a size short and depending on your foot may feel tight in the width if you are not sizing it correctly. I measure a Women's 6.5-D but in this shoe, I need an 8-B to get it to fit properly. If I were not wide in my forefoot I would probably need a narrow. Going longer gives a great heel to ball fit and with all the width choices you should be able to find just the right one for you. Just remember, when it comes to most athletic shoes you can't go by the size on the box anymore. You must try them and most run short so just size up from what you measure. But about the new nylon material... due to the flexibility, it's good for a run but I would not suggest living day to day in this shoe. The upper is just not supportive enough for all day every day wear. My opinion. Take it for what it's worth to you. I prefer stronger shoes.

I have worn the 1260 shoe for several versions. They are always comfortable for walking and standing. I don't run, however. This time I got the blue color, and the shoes are very bright!

My feet are wide at the toe area and they are pronated. I wanted these shoes to wear when I work out. They are very comfortable and do not bother my toes.

Just tried the 1260s for the first time after always wearing 1540s or 990s. The 1260s are not as comfortable as the 1540s, but the color of this pair of shoes make me glad that I bought them. For a long distance, I'll stick with the 1540s.

Unfortunately these hit my arch in the wrong spot in the right side shoe. Made my foot go numb. Probably not the shoes fault just my awful feet.

I bought the 6 last year as my first NB running shoe. Loved them and wish I had bought more. The 7 started out feeling like they were not as stable on my feet. The heel depth was shallow compared to the 6 and at first I felt like they were going to slip right off my heel. I've had to tie they on a little tighter than I like. I have broke them in just a bit and either I have gotten used to the change or the shoe is settling. The heel depth is shallow though.

Yes, it was lightweight. I guess I felt more cushioned. But somehow this shoe never felt like it had real traction on moist or mossy walks, and I never clicked with it. Could be me... But for the money, I think there are better shoes.

I ordered this shoe because I didn't like any of the colors of the 860 I usually wear. The 1260 is supposed to be the better version of the 860 but it is only a lot softer and has a more shallow heel area. Which I don't like because it feels like your foot might slip out. Also, the toe box is not as deep. I wish NEW BALANCE would list all four last's and the shoes built on them.

I haven't loved the fit of my New Balance running shoes for a couple seasons. Not as cushiony as I'd like and the heal seems to fit looser. I think I'll try thicker socks to see if that improves it.

I loved the 1260v6 so much that I bought 3 pairs. I still wear them even though the tread is thinned considerably. I was disappointed that the 1260v7 did not maintain the superior cushion in the heels as the v6, in particular, which I need for running 5-10 miles a day. I have 6 different models of NB running shoes in my closet, hoping that one would be able to replace the discontinued 1260 v6. But sadly, none are as comfortable. I love NB shoes. My feet loved the 1260v6 the most.

These shoes fit a little tighter than the usual NB. My foot size is 5.5 2E, so it is tricky to get a good fit. I worry that the bunion area will tear through quickly. It needs a little more fabric coverage in that area. I use my runners for the trails, even though this is a road shoe, due to my specifics in fit. I love the lightness of this shoe.

This is my second pair of new balance shoes. They are great for running but the toe mesh wears away and I ended up with holes in both toes with both pairs. I wear a 10 in regular shoes and wear an 11 in running shoes so I know it isn't because the size is too small.

Thick seam on left shoe irritated my foot. Thought it would go away but didn't. So I heated it with a hairdryer and massaged from the inside to stretch it out. Otherwise they are OK. I really wish shoe styles would stay around longer.

These are the worst running shoes I have gotten from New Balance. They are supposed to be a AA but are too wide and are really uncomfortable. The shoe strings are about four times too long and are even too long when doubled tied. Supposed to have an arch support but where is it? I'm really sorry I ordered this particular shoe because I definitely cannot wear it.

I wanted to like theses because they're made in the USA, sadly, I didn't care for how low the shoe felt on my foot. I walk my dogs daily and had worn out my Brooks Ghost 10s. Looking for a replacement. Really liked the cushioning in the Brooks and the NB didn't feel as good on my feet.

I ordered this shoe instead of the 880, was a mistake, it was large in the heel and toe areas and immediately the tongue started moving to the outside of the shoe. I had worn them too much to send back so gave them to someone and ordered a new pair of 880's.

I've owned a version of the 1260 model for several years replacing them for the most current model as needed. The reason I always went back to them was not only for the superb stability but also for the wonderful fit. Even though I bought this latest version in the same size and width I usually do (8D), I find them to be too tight; so much so that I've worn them briefly a couple of times and find myself going back to an older pair. Pity!!
