Terrible experience with this shoe. The velcro closure will not stay on. I bought these in January and only used them a little bit in the spring (1-2 days/week) and not at all in the summer. I wore then again 1-2 days a week in the fall. By October, the velcro closure would not stick and the shoes were falling off my feet after only a few steps, rendering them completely useless. After contacting Dansko, I was told that this was considered "normal wear." $134 is way too much to pay for a shoe that won't even last 1 year of very light use. I will never buy Dansko again.

Everything is great with this shoe, BUT the seam at the front that cross over, forming the nice design, extends into the shoe. The stitching rubs on the inside against the side of my 4th toe (I have short pinky toes). A short walk to my office made my toe raw, even through dress socks. I am returning this pair to replace with one that doesn't have the seam.

Very cute and comfortable shoe for people with normal feet. Unfortunately for me, the top of the shoe was not tall enough to accommodate a bunion and the stiff leather I fear would have irritated it after a short while. The shoe is very stylish and was just what I was looking for. I usually wear an "E" or "2E" in width and I was so happy to see that a Dansko shoe actually fit. If it wasn't for my bunion I would have loved to keep these.

I wish I could keep these shoes. They are excellent quality and the bottoms are cushioned and have excellent arch support. Unfortunately, the top of the big toe box hits exactly where I have an old dance injury. I am sending them back, but will try more Dansko styles that hit that area of my foot differently.

I love these. I've worn them 3-4 days a week since buying them and they're fantastic. Good balance, sensible but cute. Perfect for a stand on my feet all day job, which as a teller I definitely have lol. They look good in pants or skirts, and have only now after consistent (and admittedly rough) use begun to show signs of wear and tear. Take care of them and these shoes could last a very long time and for sure be worth the money! 10/10!

Beautiful shoe. Very comfortable. I was looking for a very nice shoe that I could wear with skirts for more formal occasions and office attire, but that would also be comfortable as I walk around a lot at work. This shoe works very well. Similar to the reviews of others, I do wish that it had a real buckle, because I think that would last longer. However, the velcro makes the shoe easy to put on.

I have had these shoes before and wore them out. They are very comfortable for a dress shoe and look nice with most outfits. I wear wide widths and this fits well. The quality is great and they are easy to keep clean and looking nice. They feel very sturdy when walking in them. Good grips on the sole.

This is a beautiful shoe and I need one like it or similar but I wear orthotics and these do accommodate orthotics, but my arch is so high. It was above the sidewall of the shoe so I cannot wear them as I do not get adequate arch support

Perfect fit. Plenty of cushion underfoot. And apparently Mary Janes are having a comeback this season.

Fit seems fine; I just needed some basic walkable black flats for "dress up emergencies." Not my first choice in style but "good enough."

I love these. I wear them all the time. True to size and no break-in period.

I really like this shoes. I wish they still made them in other colors. Especially grey. I have all the colors. But some colors I need to replace.

These shoes are comfortable AND pretty! They hold up excellently with my job, and I'm on my feet for hours a time. There's a little bit of wiggle room in them, and being able to tighten up the strap for a snugger fit is great. I wanted something that would look cute with my work skirts and still be functional and these work beautifully.

Just the style I was looking for. Well made--Dansko quality. My feet just have not been as happy in Dansko's shoes as in their clogs--the fit is different (more like every other brand out there). No shoe can be all things to all feet, especially mine, so I won't ding the shoes because of my feet. I did notice, however, that both the B and W of the 6.5s I tried were snuggish in the toe area, while both were also loose in the heel area. Weird. I have very narrow heels and C/D width toes, so neither width fit for my toes and heel. I am also finding that most dress shoes are hard at the toes to maintain their shape. Even though these shoes have a deep enough toe box, I found that with each step the tops of my big toes were getting irritated against that hard toe shell. Just me, I think. I am not used to dress shoes. They are great looking and well made.

I am a believer! I love the Dansko Fawna shoes. Like a lot of reviewers, I too have a multitude of foot problems as a result of a bicycle racing accident in 2014. My left midtarsal is now fused with screws and plates. Two months ago I had a very large ankle bone spur removed on the left foot in addition to removing a broken screw which was replaced with stem cells. I have lived in Naot kirei shoes since 2015 and as is usual, my feet have changed and I am no longer comfortable wearing the Naots that I love. Enter the Dansko Fawna. This shoe has stolen the show! Seriously, right out of the box I had no pain in my ankle. I have worn them all day from 8 AM to 9 PM and my feet feel great. I will keep coming back these shoes!

Ordered slightly smaller size both in regular and wide. Wide was perfect and looks so cute.

Wow this shoe is comfortable. I’m a flight attendant and I work between 10-13 hrs traveling between NYC to Europe. I often work NYC to Athens, Greece and I stand/ walk most of that time. I need a comfortable and durable shoe! This shoe felt wider than a normal (medium B) shoe. That’s good for me since my feet swell and I have a bunion. I’m in-between a medium B to wide C shoe. This shoe is perfect for me. If you have a wider foot than C, you may need the wide size D. It has decent arch support. Dansko please don’t stop making this Fawna style shoe. Many flight attendants wear this shoe to work. It’s much cuter than the clogs.

Probably the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I bought them when my plantar fasciitis was at its worst and walked comfortably all day in them on the first day. No break-in period required (which I’ve found to be the case with Dansko in general). I’ve since worn them to work every day for the past 15 months and still love them.
