These are amazing shoes. As a person who struggles to find shoes that are big enough and wide enough with feet issues these have been a life saver. I love that they are the comfort and support of danskos without the clunkiness and look.

I watched these shoes for a while before making the leap. I needed a basic shoe for work where I always wear casual pants. I wasn't sure I liked the look of the bottom of the shoe. It seemed a little frumpy and old. And since I am in my mid-50s, that is a look I want to avoid. I was toying with a pair of Frye flats that were $60 more and had a nice stacked heal and leather sole. Anyway, I liked the little extra lift this gave and it was less expensive so I ordered. I like them so much that I ended up getting the second color as well. They are very comfortable. Yes they are loose in the heel but it's kind of a clog base. I don't get blisters from rubbing on the heel. I don't even notice that they are loose anymore. They look great with straight legs, boot legs and I could seem them looking really cute with a pair of cuffed skinny jeans.

Love this boot! I had to put a half filler in the toe box because they are wide for me. But that works and just adds more cushion! They arrived the day I was leaving on a trip. I did a lot of walking on the trip and they were great without any "break in" period. Love Dansko!

I can't say how much I love these shoes. I wear Dansko shoes a lot but these are by far the most comfortable pair I own. Brown color is super cute with jeans. Highly recommend!

My feet love Dansko's and this shoe fits like a glove. My regular size fits great even with a light wool sock. Comfort from the moment I put them on. A great casual shoe comfortable enough to wear for hours.

I really like these comfortable boots. I did add a heel pad to prevent slipping. I was able to go on a 6 mile walking tour the first time out of the box. I did have to stop and tie the laces multiple times, but it was a minor nuisance.

I absolutely love this shoe. It is notable for its stability and support, but it has style. I see myself wearing it with jeans and other pants in a variety of ways. If I could change two things, it would to provide more width in the toebox, and to change the laces. I will have to tie them into double knots to keep them tied. Otherwise, it is perfect. The support under the arch is unusual, although I think I might later have to provide a little more for my pronating foot. This is a well designed and somewhat stylish bootie that I think I well wear for months at a time.

These shoes feel amazing. May not be the most glamorous, but will keep you working on your feet all day long. Good arch support.

Comfortable and stylish.

Unlike some other reviewers, I prefer the fit of the Joy to its predecessor, the Lucille. The stitching on the Lucille frequently rubbed the outside of my foot--badly. The stitching on the Joy is set further back, more to mid-foot. No rubbing! In fairness, I do think the Lucille was a little cuter. I haven't had a chance to wear these yet (it's August...), but so far the fit has been excellent (I wear a 38, and this 38 fits perfectly). Good arch support and no rubbing.

These are my new favorites! Very comfortable out of the box, no break in period. I have a narrow heel, so many Dansko styles are too wide for me, but due to the laces, I can make these snug enough to work well. Amazingly comfortable footbed. I can walk all day in these! Thank you, Dansko - now we just need this style in a few more colors!

I wanted to keep these except the color was much too navy in person! And, sadly, they were out of the brown ones in my size. I have a 39. These blue ones were really really comfortable and well-made and light. I guess if the color had been better, I would have kept them. With the blue, the light colored sole makes them look a little too sporty for my taste--I was hoping for more of a slate grey blue and a creamier sole (it was pretty stark of a contrast, in person). But these would have been great for work as a teacher on foot all day in a colder, but drier, climate. I wouldn't want to get these wet, the leather was so soft and delicate feeling. These seem a lot more femenine over the other dansko styles i have had in the past (the Rebel I still have and wear a lot--it is very durable and neat looking). I felt that these would maybe not last as long as my other dansko styles, but they were so comfy, light, and a neat shape.

Exactly what I was looking for a trip to Ireland. They are water resistant and comfortable right out of the box. I'm sooo HAPPY!!!

These shoes are AWESOME right out of the box!! I don't generally wear tying shoes, but these look great, just different enough (with the white sole),excellent support and perfect sizing! Comfort is a top priority for me! I love them!

I really, really wanted these shoes to fit!! I want to replace Danskos that are perfect that I got two seasons ago and have just about worn out, wearing constantly. Those Danskos were also size 41, but these fit a lot differently. I have tried many pairs this season thanks to Zappos! I even ordered Superfeet insoles ($40) to try and the Dansko insoles recommended by another reviewer, but these shoes are too loose on me, which is a rarity. I think I will just wait until next season and hope there are new styles. I love this shoe; it is very cute, but doesn't fit me.

Very comfortable, well made and stylish but I changed my mind on color.

Absolutely love these shoes!! I took a leap in buying these because I do not regularly spend over $100 on a pair of shoes. I have some Dansko clogs that are still in perfect condition after 10 years, so I knew these would be good shoes to splurge on. Omg, they are so comfortable!! I purchased them in black and loved them so much that a couple weeks later I ordered them in walnut too. By far my favorite pair of shoes! I wear them with literally everything. Even a pencil skirt and black tights at work and it still looked cute. Would highly, highly recommend!

I am obsessed with these shoes. I am 31 years old and try to be somewhat fashionable while still taking care of my feet and back. I can literally walk miles and miles in these things. Wearing them for the third day in a row today.

I left for a two week trip to Berlin and Barcelona a week after getting these. I wore them constantly and walked many miles. My 67 year old feet felt fine! They were great in the rain too. I am a huge Dansko fan as they are the brand that never gets my chronic plantar fasciitis acting up.

Cute trendy shoes! Comfortable, as Danskos always are, yet not as cushiony as other shoes I’ve worn from this brand. Overall, love them!

Love, love these booties! Perfect for lots of walking.

I like these shoes; however, I think they're a half size too big. I was hoping to wear them with just tights, but I think I'll have to wear low socks, so my feet don't slide. I like the color, and they are otherwise pretty comfortable. I don't like the sole as much, seeing them in person, but I do still think they're cute.

This is the first time I have bought a chukka style boot. I love them and will be keeping them.

These boots felt great the moment I put them on! Width felt slightly wider than expected but comfortable for thicker socks. Very simple style but fits the bill for my needs!
