I'm a restaurant manager and basically live in my Dansko Professionals. I wanted the booties for fall and ordered the same size as I wear in the clogs (37 -- I wear a US 6.5). They're basically perfect except for the leather is pretty stiff around the ankle and it's a bit challenging to handle stairs at the speed I'm used to. I feel like they'll loosen up as the leather wears. I like how short they are so you can see a little ankle but are still definitely boots and it doesn't automatically look like I'm wearing restaurant shoes everywhere, which I always am. Danskos for life!!!!

I love these but the 36 is too small and the 37 is too big. Oh well, both going back.

Got the brown burnished full grain and it was a little too shiny for my liking. I'd say I'm on the wide side of medium for shoes in general, but not in my heels. This was too wide in the heel, but not as bad as the Dansko Henley.

loved this cute boot but my foot just does not like danskos anymore. bummer. I wore them for several years but they started to hurt the bootom of the foot at the ball of the foot. I switched to a different brand but thought I would give these cuties a try. nope. these do run a little bit narrower than the clogs which is good for me, however, after a few hours my feet said send them back.

I'm a first time Dansko buyer but was searching for boots that don't aggravate my plantar fasciitis. Shoe sizing is tricky for me at the moment because I need extra room to accommodate orthotics, yet I refuse to resort to shoes that aren't cool looking. Are these cool looking? The jury's out. I wouldn't have chosen them if I could wear anything, but they're okay. They clog look will take some getting used to. I can't speak to their durability yet because I just got them, but was disappointed to read they're not as well made as they once were. I've found the same with Birkenstocks, with a cracked sole after just a few months. Anyway, I'm a pretty true 7.5, but have to size up to 8 or 8.5 for the orthotics, not to mention heavier socks in the winter. The 39s were really long and roomy, with too much room both at the heel and the toe. Yet, the 38s were definitely too small, with my big toe hitting the end even without orthotics. There's a significantly big size difference between 38 and 39, which I suppose is typical when half sizes aren't offered. (I wish manufacturers would understand that a half size is a real size.) I still might change my mind, but for now I'm keeping the 39s, which seem fine with orthotics and socks. They do seem comfortable, with more arch support than usual in boots. Here's hoping they hold up well if I decide to keep them.

I thought this would be perfect since it is the old clog base that I love, however the instep is high and rigit, and dug into my anterior ankle. I am sending it back.

I’m so sad that I had to return these. I love all of my Dansko shoes and sandals. These however were very tight over the top of my foot. I have a high arch/instep and this is a problem I often have with boots.

These boots are super cute and pretty comfy. I’ve worn them for just one day and so far they rub a bit around the ankle, but I’m hopeful that they’ll break in. I have a hard time bending my toes on my right foot and I was afraid that I might not be able to get these on, but they slipped on pretty easy. Overall I think that these little boots are going to be great winter shoes!

I was looking forward to wearing these boots but unfortunately, they didn't quite work. I needed the right boot to be a bit wider while the left boot felt fine. Also, I was concerned about the stiffness of the upper front edge and long days on my feet. I liked the height of the heel and the look of the shoe in general.

As a loyal fan of Danskos, I really wanted to keep these, because the foot bed is so comfortable, and the arch support is great. However, I can tell that the sides hit my ankle in an odd place, and I'm a little afraid to gamble on their breaking in enough to not irritate it. Otherwise, I'd probably never take them off. Like some others, I'd prefer a shinier black leather, but if wreen't for the ankle uncertainty, that wouldn't be an issue.

So cute but narrower than my clog Danskos of the same size. Plus the leather at the ankle is quite stiff and rubbed my ankle (if I had short socks) when I went up and down stairs or bent to pick something up. Have to return.

I've worn many styles of Dansko over the years and I really like the looks of these boots, but... they hit (and rub) against the inside of my ankle. Too bad, I really want to love these!

This reminded me of the Piet style that has been discontinued so I thought I'd give it a try. Ordered it in black and really like the look. It looks and feels a lot like the Professional, which is what I expected, so no surpises there. I wear a 36 in the Professional and this fit the same way, so didn't seem to run large to me. I do feel it is just a little narrower than a regular Professional. I have narrow to normal feet so that's not a problem but if your feet are on the wider end of the spectrum, these might be tight. They are not as heavy as I thought they'd be and feel no different than the Professional there. My only complaint is that on the left foot the curve of the top of the boots hits right at my ankle and rubs a little. It's not terrible and just on that one side, but I don't think I could walk long distances in these.

This reminded me of the Dansko Piet style that has been discontinued so I was excited to order. I bought the black and it's a great looking boot and looks good with skinny jeans and pants. Has the usual Dansko feel so if a person wears and likes the Professional, this will probably appeal to you. I will note that the boot feels more narrow than it's Professional style counterpart. I have a narrower foot so this works for me but someone with a wider foot may find it too narrow. I purchased my usual size 36 and it fits fine, so I don't feel that this runs large. My only complaint is that the edge of the boot hits me right on my heel on my left foot. It's been ok to wear at work but I don't think I could wear these to walk any distance in because it would rub. That's the only reason for the 4 stars versus 5.

I bought these thinking they were a leather version of the rubber Dansko Rosa boots, which have the most comfortable insole/heel of any danskos I've worn. These boots are basically Professionals in boot form. So they are comfortable, but nothing like the Rosas. Also, since they are basically professionals in boot form, they have a clunkier look, which I love in the clogs, but not so much in the boots. I have several pairs of Dansko Max and Dansko Maria boots, and love the bootie style of those, but these are much clunkier.

I find these clogs overall very comfortable. I had a toe injury and needed shoes with lots of room for my toes, and these fit the bill while being very supportive for my arches and ankles. I find them to be quite cute, although very casual. I've gotten a number of compliments on them. I wear them with jeans, leggings, wide legged pants and even short skirts. My only complaint is the top of the boot is very stiff where it hits my shin, which can be painful if I do a lot of walking. They are fine for me to wear all day to work, including up and down stairs, but I wouldn't wear them for a day traipsing around New York City because of the stiff leather. Just a note...I usually wear orthotics and I don't need them with these shoes. Overall, I highly recommend these shoes.

Had to return due to the goring rubbing on my ankle. I prefer the no-show sock look, so adding a higher sock is not an option for me. Otherwise, the exceptional comfort only Dansko provides! True to size for me, I wear a 7.5 and ordered a 38.

I loved the look of this bootie but it was very uncomfortable. It really pinched the top of my arch on both feet.

Didn't like the color. Looked cheap

Slips in the heel and gives me blisters. I bought this to replace the Becka, but this boot is not nearly as comfortable.

I have a high arch and high instep and the top of my foot was immediately uncomfortable in this shoe so I’m returning it. I didn’t wear it for more than a minute

Beautiful little boots but felt rock hard stiff and difficult to get on and take off. Cannot wear these and endure the suffering.

I love Dansko and have several pair (I'm a size 11), but this one felt a bit shorter than normal (particularly for a boot) and the arch support was a bit off. It may have been okay in an 11 1/2, but their sizes don't go that high. The quality of the shoe is great, so if you run between sizes and can go one larger and don't have super high arches, this could still be a good shoe for you.

I love this boot but had to return because it would slip off my heel just enough to inch my socks down, which was ultimately uncomfortable. I tried all different socks and had same result. Even tried walking around the house in them with bare feet and it did same thing but against bare skin. Very bummed because they are super comfortable and really stylish. And they look great with so many things.
