These are definitely run to the exact whole size. I’m a 6-6.5. These were 6’s. If you are a 1/2 size, they aren’t great because of the back lip . The triangle material is sharp on the edges. These are more like sub $20 flip flops even with the Hoka sole. I have Hoka running shoes and expected more for the price and from them. Returning them.

I have worn these sandals for one day.....the bottom of my feet feel great.....BUT....the rest of my foot hurts ?? I bought these sandals to help with planter fasciitis. The sandal feels good to walk in..... but the top of the sandal is made out of the cheapest material possible, ruff edges and I have blisters everywhere. If you can wear black socks with these sandals...you might be able to wear them...very dorky, but that’s what I’m doing. I may keep these just to wear around the house, ?

First off let me say I wear ultra plush model of Hoka One One running shoes, so I expected these flips to deliver that luxurious comfort, exceptional fit and best-in-class quality I’ve come to associate with the brand. Regarding comfort - these flips nail it. So sumptuous is the perfect balance of cushion to firmness, I can wear the Ora recovery flip to trudge up an inclined, stony path with confidence, or simply wander about on level pavement or grass with equal ease. Quality is apparent although we all agree time is the true test there. I’ll go so far as to say the flips are constructed in a way which leads me to conclude they will last for several years - even beyond the point I decide I just want a new pair. And then we come to fit- I have always enjoyed a perfect fit experience with Hoka running shoes size 9 women’s. In contrast, the Ora sandals in 9 were way too big. I was going to keep them anyway because i don’t return stuff as a general rule, but the sloppiness and instability got in my nerves so much I was going to do exactly that. However instead of returning, I gave them to my daughter. The size 9 Ora flips fit her size 10 foot perfectly, and she loves them. Says they are her favorite casual sporty sandals which is a huge endorsement because she is fanatically selective about what she puts on her feet. All that being said, the size 8 flips I got to replace the size 9 fit much better. Probably TMI here but I notice the right flip is ever-so-slightly shorter in the footbed than the left. therefore fits a bit differently across the pair, but I don’t even care because they are so flipping comfortable.

I was so excited about this brand. My podiatrist recommended these for my plantar fasciitis and it ended up being a disappointment as my plantar (one side only) flared and I was in pain and both feet ended up feeling tired. I wore them for a week. At first they felt so great! So much cushion. But I didn’t feel like it had any arch support to support my plantar, and my feet felt like they were just trying to grip the sandals. They’re going back. Along with the Hoka One One athletic shoes.

Too loose.....no way to tighten the strap. They felt spongy to me but my daughter LOVES them. I have to return just because of the strap.
