These shoes looked like the perfect shoe for my various ailments. A size 10 was recommended. It was way too wide and long. I had to go down to an 8, and then it was a little too short. No, the 9 didn't work either--too wide. Too bad.

This was my 2nd pair of Recovery Flips. I was surprised to find that size 8 felt too small. I returned them, ordered a size 9, and voila, all is well. Super cushion and arch support.

Initially I thought this sandal was exactly what I was looking for. Super comfortable!! Then I actually wore them for longer than 30 min and the area between my toe (thong) kept rubbing and rubbing. Made it very uncomfortable and caused blisters on both of my feet. These are going back.

Hoka is the best brand for sports shoes and a MUST for plantar faschiitis tendencies. I bless the day I discovered their flip flops! Flip flops that are supportive AND pretty colors AND washable??? My only note: the toe bar (strap between big and 1st toes) is a little higher than other flip flops. When you first wear them they feel really loose but I got used to it really quick.

These are true to size and the most comfortable shoes on the planet! I have foot issues from running and these feel like they massage my feet as I walk. I highly recommend these.

I am not a runner but need good arch support. Hoka sandals do this in a very lightweight shoe. Unfortunately I returned these because they were a bit small. Wish they came in half sizes.

As soon as I took two steps in these sandals I wanted to rip them off my feet. It feels like somebody is trying to saw off my big toe with a steak knife. The plastic upper strap is folded in two and stitched together to form that piece that goes between the toes. The piece is very hard and sharp, promises instant blisters. In any other case I'd put these in the box and send them straight back to Zappos, but I bought them for the extra cushioning and sole shape which came highly recommended by my podiatrist. I will try to modify them with some mole skin an hope for the best. On the plus side, the medium width in these shoes is ample enough for my wider fit. The soles do feel very good, very soft cushioning. The foam seems extremely light for the size, makes me wonder if it will be durable, but this manufacturer is known for it's lightweight shoes so I may be mentally stuck in a lightweight equals cheap paradigm.

Ordered my usual size 9 and the fit was perfect. They are comfortable and really ease plantar fasciitis pain.

too bad these flips were so badly fitting. I wear a 9 and ordered a 9. these felt like a 10. i mean the thong portion was so loose that you probably have to order a few sizes smaller. i thought that if these shoes fit someone well they would be very comfortable though and i loved the style. too bad they did not work for me at all
