I bought these as hiking boots and have used them as such. They're comfortable, (even before I broke them in) and so far durable. I have had no issues with them at all. I normally wear a 9.5 but found these run a little small and needed to return them for a slightly larger size, (size 10). The return process was easy and I had my replacement boots in just a couple of days!

Great fit right out of the box. Accurate sizing. Comfortable without any break-in period. Waterproofing held up great through several modest snowstorms. Would definitely purchase again.

They fit well. The break-in time is short. They're comfortable. They look good. They're waterproof. This my second pair of Newton Ridge Hiking Boots.

Absolutely love these boots!! I don't actually use them for hiking but I pair them with a dark colored Columbia shirt and they look good together! Very comfortable and hold up really well!! Make sure you keep a suede cleaning kit to keep them looking fresh!!

Used these to hike in slippery/snowy/dusty conditions and they provided strong traction. Comfortable upon wearing and no need to break feel. Happy with the purchase.

My husband has size 15 feet, and he is absolutely thrilled with these well fitting comfortable and stable boots. He wants me to find a women's pair similar for snowy or wet days after I slipped several times on a snowy day and he confidently walked through it - no problem at all. He says they feel so good - just like his tennis shoes.

I'm a Delivery Driver, regularly working 11-14 hours a day, walking up to 20k steps a day, and lifting up to 6k lbs per day. This is my go-to work boot! I usually order a new pair every 6 months, and previously I didn't get the suede version. I've also opted to getting the "wide" fit, so far too new to say if I prefer it more or less to normal sizing.

Good choice for winter... mode and nice... i advice for cld weather condition...

I have sought a good solid hiking boot that handles Montana winter and this is it. It feels good, wears well and I recommend it for anyone seeking a well constructed boot that will keep your feet warm and dry.

The boots are well-designed and comfortable. It is actually true to size and the size guide may be an underestimate.

I was cautious with all the reviews but eventually decided to buy these.

I bought size 9.5W wide as my feet are wider - true to size - thought I thought they might be a bit too wide (my feet are somewhat in=between - some WIDE shoes are too wide) so these fit perfectly. Very light - color is great, soles are responsive, stiff enough to not feel every rock but not so stiff you think you are wearing wood clogs. Have not had them long enough to judge how well they last, but they seem well enough constructed and the sole seems well attached to the shoe - that is where a boot will often fail first. Looking forward to many years of these.

I've always known Columbia products were good quality and this confirmed it several times over!

Needed some boots with a little ankle support for a long hike. These were great - no break in necessary. Very comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
