my husband was having problems find a comfortable lightweight boot. This one fit the bill. It is easy to wear.

As a senior outdoorsman -hiker, I've worn quite a lot of different brands and types of hiking boots over multi decades. Some were high end, well known and expensive brands, and others were no-name, bargain priced brands. I've found that old expression, "You get what you pay for.", doesn't necessarily hold true when it come to hiking boots. These Columbia Newton Ridge Plus II Suede WP boots are exceptionally well made, true to size and "out of the box comfortable" for a surprisingly low price. Too soon to see how well they hold up, but should they fail in that aspect, I will update. Meanwhile I give them 5 stars.

I scoured the Zappos site looking for boots that would suit my needs, waterproof, comfortable and either black or grey. I read the reviews, and all were positive, so I bought them. They met all of my criteria, and just like the reviews said, there is no break in period needed, although I did wear them for a few hours a couple of days before being in them all day at work. I have wide feet due to bunions on both, so it’s difficult to find shoes, let alone boots that I don’t have to purchase extra wide. My feet are very comfortable.

Feel great right out of the box. Have been wearing them for a week now. The first pair of shoes I have bought in years. I can’t believe how well they feel.

I bought these in August 2018, and I have worn them nearly every day. They are still comfortable and are holding up well. I’ve used them for work, social and walking through the UK. I’ll be buying another pair soon.

This boot is good looking, comfortable, true to size, and light weight. It's a real nice product at a great price.

Lightweight and comfortable boots if not the strongest. Definitely worth trying.
