If you have wide calves, these boots are NOT for you! I ordered them as they said 16" circumference, but I have 15" calves and they were not even close to zipping past the wide part in my calf. I was super bummed as they are stunning and very well made.

Super narrow shaft. Most uncomfortable boots I have ever worn.

I have a wide flat foot but thought I would give these a try but they were way too tight in the foot area. I had a hard time getting them on. The boots seemed stiff and I think there would be some break in time but I thought they were very fashionable and seemed well made. If I had a smaller foot I probably would have kept them.

I wanted to LOVE these boots. They are stylish and unique, have the perfect heel height and toe shape. They seem like they would be comfortable. The problem is the circumference of the top of the boot. If you have moderately muscular calves, these boots will NOT zip up. I have slender legs and do not consider them overly muscular or large by any means. Usually tall boots have some elastic at the top so there is some “give” around the calf. These have NOTHING. It is pure leather that does not budge. I am very surprised by this since Teva is usually such a customer conscientious brand. I even ordered both my usual size and a half size larger just in case. The odd thing was that I was able to zip up one boot, but not the other and I don’t think my calf size varies that much between legs. This leads me to believe that the individual boots themselves vary greatly. So disappointed that these did not zip up. I really love the look of them!
