I own these same boots in the ankle length and love them. The leather on these knee-length boots is stiff, so it might take some breaking-in, but I love how they look and I'm sure i'll get a lot of use out of them.

I was happy to find these boots; I think they're kind of unique and very cute. They walk the line between classic and work/cowboy boots. There is a decent heel on these, but they're still very comfortable. The leather feels very nice and all the details look really cute. I sized up a half size as per Zappos' recommendation, and they fit great. I have athletic (but not huge) calves and they fit just right.

First, if you are petite, this boot will fit you. I am 5'2" and it is a struggle to find a boot that won't hit the back of my knee. Loved the height of the shaft. The heel was a perfect height, enough of a boost, but also extremely comfortable if you're on your feet all day long. The style was okay; I prefer a shiny leather look. The only issue in size is the calf. I have average 14" calves and these boots were very tight to zip up with pants on. With tights or bare legs, they were fine. However, I wanted a pair boots for spring/fall transitional weather and need to wear jeans or pants under so they didn't work out.

I liked everything about these boots, except that the shaft is short. I have rather long legs and felt the proportions were off.

These boots have a very soft and sleek look. Good heel height for walking. I have thin calves and ankles and they did not appear too loose. When I first wore them, they were noticeably very stiff, to the point it was hard to drive! But then I wore them all day and they eased up some. Will need to break them in further to get them to flex at the ankle more. I got compliments on them and like that they are waterproof.

They come with a dye warning! I haven’t had any issues with them bleeding or transferring but just a heads up. Good snug boot all around. Probably not for those with larger calves as they are snug from top to bottom but not enough to call “runs small”. Nice and lightweight.

Beautiful boot. It is NOT a wide calf. However I could zip it up so I decided to keep them and the calf did stretch out.

I am a pretty consistent size 7, but the 7 in these boots was too small, especially given I would be wearing these with skinny jeans and wool socks. 7.5 was perfect. I agree with the other reviewers that these only really work for skinny calfed people - the calf circumference is small but fortunately fit me.
