The site says the shoe is 16in around, they are absolutely NOT wide calf, they are actually 14.5 in around the top of the boot, not sure where the site got 16in. These are gorgeous boots, small details make them absolutely amazing and I hate returning them. If Teva ever made a wide calf boot in this style I'd buy them in a heartbeat, they are perfect.

really love the Teva boots. I wear 8 1/2 AAAA and I ordered the 8 1/2. By putting a sports insert below the liner and with thick socks, these fit wonderfully. Waterproof?--yes, definitely. And the sole is nice and flexible, easy to walk in and wear. Not too warm inside, but warm outside. Just lovely! Zappos was the usual efficient self. They should be running the country, or at least the banking system.

These boots are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! The leather is top quality and I love that they are waterproof. The brown color is gorgeous. Unfortunately, they are a little too snug at the top, so I have to return them. They might stretch out over time, but I would rather have them comfortable from the beginning. If you have slim calves, don't hesitate to get these.

Pretty boot, seems like it would be waterproof due to the feel of the leather but it makes a really stiff boot. Also the heel pushes up without any arch support it leaves me feeling like I will have a really sore foot after a while so I am opting for a flat boot or one with a more supportive arch. Overall points for style but not much for functionality or that nice soft leather feel I was looking for.

I bought the bison color. These are waterproof - yes, really - and highest quality for the price I've ever tried, I have spent 15 years trying to find boots that can accommodate my congenitally defective feet. I needed major ankle and arch support and these offer both in spades. The only thing I had to do was stretch the arch a bit on both sides, which I was able to do with my fist about 20 seconds each side. Then I wore them all day working in the mud while landscaping, moving earth and rock. I wiped them off with a towel when finished and they still looked brand new...just a miracle. I have spent many thousands trying to find boots like this, but no other boot comes close. I just bought a second pair half-size smaller, so I can go with socks or without. These conform to your feet after a few hours of wear. The only thing is that where there is really slippery terrain, the tread is not always quite adequate, so just be a little cautious in extremely slippery areas. The ankle area and lower shaft might be too snug for some people, but it's what I needed the most.

I hit the boot lottery with these. Gorgeous, fit perfectly, nice leather, super cool looking and I Lurve them. I can't wait to wear them in Montreal in a month! Waterproof too, yippee, and 2 inches tall, I need that, but no bad walking feel with the height. I cannot be in pain. I think these will be fine to walk long distances without that pain. I am going Boots Anonymous soon. Not today though.

These are pretty boots. Nice leather and comfortable. Unfortunately, the leather wrinkled a bit in the mid-calf section making them rub. Otherwise I would have kept them!

Loved these boots! Unfortunately I had to return them because the 11 was just a bit tight in the toe, but they were otherwise extremely comfortable. I have fairly average calves relative to my shoe size (I wear an 11 or 12), and these were just right. They would have been snug out of the box over jeans, but I prefer that since there will always been some stretching. Oddly enough, the ankle-height lace up version of the same shoe fits me perfectly in size 11, but I really do wish Teva (and EVERY manufacturer) would start offering sizes 11.5 and 12.

I love this boot, can’t take them off! That said, buyers should know that if you have a wide calf, they may not be the boot for you.

This boot is amazing! I’ve been wearing them to work and they look nice, while at the same time waterproof and with a decent sole. I can walk outside between appointments and not slip on ice or ruin non-waterproof boots, and also look decent, all winter long. Highly recommend!

The shaft of this boot is definitely narrow, which is perfect if you're someone who constantly struggles with the fit of boots being too loose in the calf! I love them- highly recommend.

These are absolutely stunning. The leather is beautiful and sturdy. They seem to be waterproof. I have pretty athletic calves (16”) and these just fit comfortably. The gal in the video definitely has tiny calves! Overall, these are gorgeous boots. Well done, Teva!

These are super cute, comfortable, yet stylish boots. I am 5' 3" and 125 lbs. I was worried they would be too tall/too snug in the calf for me. Not the case! They are a great height to wear with dresses/skirts. Perfect calf snugness with tights (although might be too snug for me with skinny jeans, but I bought them to go with dresses). I usually don't wear heels. But I love the little heel, just a touch of sass. Way more stylish than my usual flat ranch girl style brown boots (which I still love). These are my new going to town boots! Danced all night at our company holiday party!

The boot is snug in the foot, but that is expected due to being leather and will stretch. Sad to say I will have to return these since the shaft is too small around the calf which is 16in in circumference. Would love to keep them.

I love them. I even bought a brown pair. I walked 23000 steps in them and was quite comfortable. The color of the brown pair is really pretty. I ordered a 7 1/2 fit great. They are pretty casual.

I just loved this boot the minute I saw it. It is much better than the picture portrays. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I am a size 8 and I ordered a size 8. I just love them!

I loved everything about this boot and was planning to keep it but the first time I was going to to wear them out of the house, I realized the back on my heel was getting rubbed, so I couldn't wear them. I was wearing different socks when I tried them on but now haven't been able to put them without my heel getting rubbed.

Love these boots. They were comfortable from the first day. I'm used to high heels, so the heel didn't faze me at all. Also, when I pick boots, I go through the reviews and look for the reviews that say things like "I couldn't zip them up" or "not possible to tuck in jeans" etc. Then I know that they might fit me. These still had room around the top, but at least they don't look like I'm walking around in buckets. They also seem to be really well made. Sturdy, yet cute.

I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 and ordered a 9.5 which fit perfectly. I'm tall, so I appreciate that the heel is not too tall. Like the rounded toe. Can easily wear these for casual or a little dressier. Very comfortable.

I love these boots. They are stunning to look at, are super comfortable on my feet, and are clearly well made. I have athletic calves (15.5") and the boots barely zipped up with a pair of wool socks and jeans on. There is a review above that claims the shaft width is 16" and I don't see how that is possible. HOWEVER - I am more than pleased with this purchase and I am excited for the weather to get cool enough so I can wear them!
