I usually wear 8.5 in everything. True 8.5M. The measurement tool says I need a 7.5 so right off the bat someone is incompetent. So I ordered the 8.5 and still hey are wayyyy too small. Don't understand why any competent company can't make a size 9M in a size 9M. It's not hard. Its a shoe. The incompetence of the "measurement tool" is inexcusable. Boot seem great by the way, shame you are losing customers cause you don't know how sizes work

I wear a size 13 in every shoe. This 13 fit like a 12. THEN I ordered a 14 snd they fit EXACTLY the same as the 13. IRS like they took the size 13 and slapped a 14 label in it. Very disappointed.

I bought these because many people said they were good boots, I should have read the reviews first. I got them today. I tried putting them on, they were too tight once I finally got them on. I where a size 11 ordered 11.5 thinking that would work. No so I'm returning and will try to find another brand.

The sole appears to be a thick piece of rubber but once you go in about 2 mm it is hollow. My boots have holes in both soles after 3 months of winter use. Really poor quality for an expensive boot.

Sizing was very difficult. My son is usually a 12, sometimes up to a 13 depending on the shoe. He has never been larger than a 13. The 13 was too small. A 13.5 might have worked but this boot wasn't made in a 13.5. The 14 would felt much too large around the ankle. He was disappointed as he liked the look and would have liked these boots for a Boston winter.

Looks great but has a very awkward fit. I really wanted to like this boot but the 12 was way too small and the 13 was way too big - and it definitely seemed like more than just 1 size between the two. Just an awkward fit for me all around. May be good for someone who has unusually wide but also unusually short feet (relative to their width). I generally like other Sorel shoes and boots though, so not a dig on the brand. Just think they missed the mark on this particular Cheyanne II model. The 1964 Premium winter boot line and Dude Moc slippers are both especially comfortable.

Love the style, just could not find a size that fit. Normally I am 10.5. After reading reviews, I ended up buying an 11. It was too small, so I exchanged and bought 11.5. There was literally no difference in the length; although the width was a bit bigger. I then exchanged for a 12, hoping that my toe would not be pushed up against the front. Once again, no difference in length between the 12 and the 11. So I returned again and bought a 13. Still way too short, but now the width was overwhelming. Overall, I love the style, but there is literally no difference in shoe length between 11, 12 and 13. I am not sure what happened to in their manufacturing process, but as a consumer that tried to buy the product four times before giving up, I can say that it is a problem. So sad I couldn't find a size that worked.

I normally wear a 9 1/2 sneaker or a size 10 boot. I first ordered a size 10 and OUCH! I could barely cram my foot into it. Next I ordered a size 11 and I had almost the same problem! It's possible that a size 12 might give me the length I need, but the narrowness was as bad on the 11 as it was on the 10 and I can't see it improving that much on a 12 so I will now seek out a different boot. I want to thank the Zappos folks for being so supportive though - they really do a great job!

VERY much smaller sizing than any other Sorel shoe. Returning these. My husband wears an 11.5; he tried on the original Cheyanne at a store, and the 12 fit perfectly. I ordered these in a 12, and his foot barely fit into it...his toe was pushing out at the rubber! Very dissatisfied. Returning these.

This is my first winter boots and it's not working for me. Last week the weather was around -15C and I was outside for probably 15 mins and the boot did not keep my feet warm. My toes were freezing and I even had winter socks. Not recommended
