nice looking boots, but they run very small

These boots are a full size too small. I normally wear a 9.5 in Nike or New Balance. I read these ran 1/2 size small so I ordered a 10. They were too small and after an exchange the 10.5 was the right size.

Great construction on the boot. Would not recommend as a winter boot. Built more with the spring in mind. Make sure to order half a size larger than you would normally wear.

I really like the look and feel of the boot. Zappos recommended a 10, so I went with 10.5. It was way too small so I tried an 11. Also returned it and got an 11.5. Finally feel good. They are great quality and they should hold up very well, but definitely get a size or even 1.5 bigger.

Liked the look and style... just much smaller fitting than Sorel Buxton Lace Up Snow Boot I had previously purchased in same size.

Have heard good things about these boots. Ordered a 10.5 and it was too small. Exchanged for an 11 and still too small (almost felt exactly the same at the 10.5).

Don't know why I'm the only one having trouble with fit with these, but I am. Waited until fall stock arrived to try again to find one that fit; ended up with a 13 from REI, even though I normally wear an 11.

not sure if we got a defective pair, but the sock liner inside both shoes cut the length off. These were the boots my son really wanted his toes were totally curled due to the liner in the boot. My husband who has a smaller foot tried them and said the same thing.

So after spending the afternoon at the local shoe store, I found these, but not in my size... or so I thought. At the shoe store, my feet were swimming in the size 11 which led me to conclude that I needed a 10.5. I ordered the 10.5 through zappos and when they arrived, they were just slightly too small. Okay, maybe I did need the 11. I sent back the 10.5 and promptly ordered the 11. When they arrived, they were actually smaller than the 10.5. I checked the size embroidered on the shoes, and they were indeed an 11. So now I have returned the second pair and ordered an 11.5 which is a size larger than the Sorrell that was too large at the shoe store. Hopefully this next round will fit. Conclusion: whole sizes run at least a full size small with this shoe and there is not much difference between the half size and full size. If the 11.5 doesn't fit, it will be time to go to a different brand.

These boots just didn’t fit right the toebox was much too wide. They would be great for someone with a wide foot and they do run a bit small.

Based on other reviews I ordered a full size larger than I would normally wear and even then they're a little snug. They're clunky and not terribly uncomfortable to walk in. There's something in the design of the boot that causes my foot to get pushed towards the front of the boot as I walk, mashing my toes into the toe of the boot. They have a deep heel cup, so I've found that if tap my heel firmly into the heel cup and cinch up the lower laces quite tightly, they fit better and my foot doesn't move forward quite so much. I do a lot of commuter biking in the rain and wanted footwear that was reliably warm and waterproof, and so far they've done well in that regard. They seem true to width, maybe even a little wide. I give them 5 stars for style because I ordered the Nori color and I like it a lot. If I were walking long distances in them I would probably return them, but for what I'm using them for they get the job done effectively. I basically paid $150 because I like the color. Shrug.

These boots have some sort of sock like lining that squeezes your toes together and is extremely uncomfortable. They seem like they would be very warm and are nice looking but just standing in them was painful.

Very small for a size 15

My husband wears a 10.5 but has a little wider foot. For sneakers and boots we always size up to an 11 and never have had an issue. As soon he put these boots on he said his toes didn’t have any wiggle room and that after long periods of wear they would be uncomfortable. Excellent quality boot but run half a to a whole size size small.
