I guess your various departments don't talk to each other. I tried twice to get the correct size, following your sizing guide and also the many customer feedback postings. Both times, the boots I received were too small. I gave up at this point and will pursue with your competition who seems to not have any issues with getting correctly sized footwear. Another issue was finding that your footwear was made overseas (China??)

Sizing is the issue. I purchased one full size larger than normal as instructed. However, that does not account for wide (E). Shoes did not fit so I returned them.

I wear 9 or 9.5 in all shoe brands. I even tried on this exact model in a store in sz 9, it was slightly to small, so I ordered 9.5 thinking it would work. Not even close, need to return and get a size 10 or 11. Sizing is all over the plcce which is really frustrating when ordering online.

Picture looks better than in person. Read reviews and told to order a size up. Did that and still was told small. A mans 12 definitely is a 14 with these boots.

I first tried on this specific boot in store; a size 11.5 and 13. The former was way too small and the latter was way too big so I figured a 12 would do the job because they didn't have any other size. It came in the mail and I tried it on. Even with the thinnest sock I had on it was still too small.

I have bought two pair of the same boot. And now have to return the second pair for similar reasons. The sole doesn't feel like it's attached to the boot and this makes it seem like your stepping on something sticky. And the second pair has a strange knot on the inside top of boot. With all of this, and I still have to pay return!!! So frustrating!

Fit was good and comfortable. The boots kept my feet warm until their second winter when the rubber dry rotted through. Now my feet get wet and very cold. These are good if you don't mind dry rot and wet feet when you're out walking your dog.

These boots were excellent for the Chicago winter, but by the beginning of my second winter of wearing them occasionally for light city walking in slush, the rubber has cracked on the top of both boots in the same place. They are no longer waterproof. I would not recommend these if you want more than a year's use out of them. Unfortunately, I am just beyond the 1 year warranty.

I had high hopes... measured thrice, and thrice again. Read all reviews, followed all sizing suggestions. I am 11.5 wear 12 maximum boot size. Ordered the 14 Sorels... 2.5 sizes over my measurements (which I took in cm, inches, US shoe, Chinese shoe and European shoe sizes....) and these fit like they were size 10. I tried using different inserts to no avail. Too bad because these are nice boots in other respects. The women's I ordered (in another style) fit my honey fine...

Both my husband and son wanted these boots. My husband owns another pair of Sorel boots that run big so we ordered a half size down. Then we ordered their actual size. THEN we ordered a half size up...all were too small and narrow. Want to order a full size larger, but am wondering if it is time to just give up on these boots!

I'm pretty disappointed to say that they are not that durable and having wet cold toes by the end of a walk or trip to the grocery is extremely unpleasant. I've had these boots for 2 years only using them during the winter in a melted slush Colorado application walking the dog or running errands. 2 stars only because they are perfectly warm when they aren't letting in water.

My girlfriend bought these for me as a gift..had to send the first pair back and get a size larger. They are very stylish boots and I love the looks of them but they have no functionality. My feet get wet and cold even just walking around the yard in wet grass, forget about plowing the driveway in these boots. I don't know if my pair is defective or something but I'm pretty bummed out on them especially since they look so sharp.

Oh man I am very disappointed in these boots. Full disclosure--I'm a mid-20s petite woman who regularly shops in the kids sections, especially for winter gear like boots, coats, gloves etc. It's cheaper and typically I don't have a problem with lesser quality. Until now :( I bought these boots hardly even a full year ago, for my first winter on the East Coast with temps as low a 10*F and a decent amount of snow, sleet (and lots of rain in the summer!). Last winter when they were brand new I had no issues--except that I should have bought a 4.5 instead of a 4.. I normally buy a boys 4/womens 6 but these were a little tight in the toe. Another issue is they weren't the most comfortable.. they felt pretty stiff and would hurt the tops of my feet if worn with too thin socks. Again, not a dealbreaker--they're not daily wear shoes for me so I didn't mind a few hours of slightly cramped feet. However, the real dealbreaker--less than a year in and they are ALREADY LEAKING. They are leaking at the gum sole--basically where the zig zag pattern meets the blue toe of the boot... the gum part hardly covers the blue rubber, and now the seam where they meet is showing and of course, water is getting in. This is not even New England levels of snow--this is Mid-Atlantic. But leaking boots are leaking boots. It's a shame because other than that I was happy, but I do not suggest buying these for you/your kids--once that gum sole opens evens a bit where the rubber meets, water will get in. If i can't return, I guess I know what brand to go to next...

Do not run true to size, and very far from it. These boots literally make you feet feel crammed. The sizing is really messed up and your foot literally hurts when you put them in even though every other boot my size fit fine.

I'm a long time wearer of these boots. The current iteration is now manufactured in Vietnam. My previous pair were manufactured in China. The sizing is waaaay off. And the material is low quality. Avoid these boots until Sorel corrects course. They've really screwed these classics up.

I bought these boots a few years ago and have used them under 50 times. I wear them for cold and wet trips to Colorado and when I go hunting. I quit wearing them because I noticed the rubber is already starting to crack after so little amount of use and I can't afford cold wet feet in the middle of a hunt or hike. The fit and all that is great but these boots aren't durable at all. It's simply a low quality boot. Maybe they fixed the quality issue. The right thing to do is replace them, we'll see how that goes.

I'm a track and field coach. The black boots were purchased in May of 2019 for the following track season primarily because they were on sale. The plan was for me to wear them during the cold, rainy months while out and about at track meets. With that said, I didn't wear them until January through roughly March of 2020. I wore them again January through March of 2021 and that's when I started to see damage forming on the left upper part of the boot. I truly only wore these boots a grand total of 6 months. I thought for sure they'd last longer than that without the boots developing damage. I think you'll see they weren't worn much by looking at the minimal wear on the sole of the boot (pictures are attached). All in all, I conclude it's not a very durable boot.

Similar to another reviewer, I found sizing is a total mess with these boots. I'm a 10.5 / D-width normally. Unfortunately, the toe area on this boot is way too narrow. I sized up to an 11.5 and my toes still did not have enough room. I ended up shopping for another brand.

Bought these a couple months ago as a lighter, more driver friendly replacement of 25-year-old Cariboos. Wore them in light snow a couple times and liked them. Comfortable with mild support. Today, they got their first test in a 1.25-mile walk in medium rain. To begin with they are NOT waterproof. NOT even close. The toe boxes were soaking wet. Not sure if the seams failed or the water got in through the lower tongue area. Whatever. My wool sock were very wet. The description says bring on the downpour. Well, unless you want soaked feet, don't bring on the downpour. This is not a rain boot. I don't usually return items for small failures or if I take a chance on something I am not sure about. But I wanted a WATERPROOF rain boot by what I believed was a top-quality manufacture as I need, for health purposes, to walk every day rain or shine. Typical Shoe Size Mens 9 Height 5'9" Weight 150175 lbs. Age 6574

The sizing is inconsistent with previous makes of the cheyanne duck boot. Poor policy to deduct cost of shipping for an exact item that should have fit the same as a previously purchased item.

Ordered a size 11, did not fit. Read the small print and it recommend to go to 1/2 a size up. Order an 11.5, did not fit, ordered a 12, did not fit. When I called, I mentioned that all three sizes measured the same and the fit was wrong. My toes were cramped exactly the same way as the size 11. Who makes these boots?
