These are nice well made boots that I think are a little better quality than the sportier Merrell boots. I normally wear a 10.5 and tried both the 10.5 and 11, and while I could have gone with either size, I chose the 11, so I could have a cowboy boot-style fit with thinner socks and a more fitted fit with thicker socks.

I usually wear an 8 M in Merrill products. This very cute boot was at least an inch too long. It is well constructed, and would be supportive if the correct size can be found. Return for a size 7 M, which sounds small as I always wear 7.5 or 8.

Sadly I’m sending this item back. I was hoping for the comfort of my Merrell hiking boots which I love. While these boots were a decent fit, I’ve become ultra picky regarding footwear because of many foot issues (flat feet, over pronation). I felt that the bunion on my right big toe might be aggravated by the heel height/angle.

The comfort and heel style are great! But I don't care for the style of the top, with the fabric sides and pull-tab on the front. I ordered in my normal 7.5 and it's pretty roomy with a little slippage in the heel... tried a 7 in a local store and that was a much better fit. Odd, because usually Merrells fit me better in an 8! I am returning these and will get the lace-up Chateau instead - I think it is much sharper looking. I may even get it in both black and brown.

True to size, good fit. Outdoorsy but still stylish boot in the olive green.

Cute boot with excellent winter sole but definitely runs a good 1-1.5 sizes smaller than true size (I am a true size women's 11.5/ 12 but could barely squeeze my foot into this boot in a size 11 and my toes were completely crunched- totally, completely impossible, and this was with a very thin sock. The size 11 definitely runs on the (very) small side.

Super cute boots and felt true to size (maybe run slightly small). The only reason i had to return is they are just a little too narrow in the toe box for me. Wish they came in wide because I loved the style and color.

I have Narrow feet but the reviews had me all freaked out about the size running so small. My Right foot is whole size bigger (9-9.5) and because they’re so narrow I tend to flop around the left foot (8.5) even with a sock. So if reviews tend to be narrow And recommend sizing up I do size up .5 when they have them. I miss out on a lot of shoes when the half size to 8.5-9 and then 10.. I can’t fake a 10 on my 8.5 left foot. Trying black in size 9 to see if I need thick socks or send back both? Otherwise, the heel is in a good position to support the arch. Little more rugged look and sturdy feel then I expected, I think will wear in nicely. And seems if I can cozy them up I’ll live in them this winter. Zappos as always has best shopping policies around and makes my thought process make sense in the comfort of my own home and sock options.

I am exchanging due to the fact this ran at least a full size small. I always wear a 9.5, but boy howdy... it wasn't even close!

Love the style, don't get me wrong, but I had to return these. They were very true to size. I'm normally a 9M, and that's what I got. Perfect fit very comfy. The only thing is, the style is a bit clunky--especially the heel--so if your calves are on the thinner side, they look a bit odd on. The quality is very high, and the comfort is there. I just wish my legs were more sizable to make these really look good. The front pull tab was actually very useful, and I didn't mind the back dipping lower. Looked fine with long dark socks under dark leggings or skinny jeans. Just too bulky for my legs.

I ordered the Dusty Olive based on the picture provided by Zappos. BEWARE! While this boot looks like it's all Olive it is two toned Olive/Brown. The fabric portion is brown. While I was waiting for the package to arrive I went to Merrell's own site where it clearly shows the two colors.. .Unfortunately I don't think I would have ordered this color if I had known so it's very misrepresenting. I love the shape and the feel but may be returning.

These fit great, with temps below zero they were very warm. I did not need to break them in ay all. I did up by 1/2 size to compensate heavy socks. If I had to find a gripe, I’d like a tad shorter heel yet the heel has a nic cushion so it works okay.

These were okay, but not as comfy as my other Merrells, and somehow they weren't as nice looking as in the photo. Comfort-wise they were also okay, but the edge around the opening was pretty rigid, & dug into my ankle. The heel/arch support felt pretty good, but I'd still want to put in my own arch supports if I was going to be walking any significant distance in them. The green color was a little more dull/muted than in the photo here, and the quilted part is much less noticeable. Also, the middle of the shoe/boot was quite tight, & it was difficult to get my feet in - and my feet aren't extraordinarily wide or tall or anything. My overall impression was pretty "meh", so back they go - which is disappointing, I really wanted to like them!

This boot is not comfortable. The material is very rough and not flexible to walk in. The olive color does not look good as it looks online. I am returning these.

The boots are very attractive, they look like boots you would wear anytime, even to work. Unfortunately, the opening is so small my foot didn't fit into the boot, so I have no idea whether they are comfortable. They are very cute if they fit you.

Sadly, these were too big so I returned them. I was not confident that a smaller size would feel comfortable - there didn't seem to be much cushion or flex to them.

I don't know how these darling boots fit because I couldn't bend my foot enough to get them on, even with the nice side zipper. I'm very disappointed, but they probably would be great for someone with flexible feet.

The arch support in this boot was too high and hurt my arch, despite the fact that I have a high arch. It painful just sitting in them to test them out, much less walking on them. That was disappointing because I liked everything else about the boot.

I wanted to like these. However, the other reviewers are correct - the front of the boot hits the shin at a terrible spot. plus the leather pull-on tag is in the front. Cute with the quilting, but overall a very odd design. No thank you.

These looked super cute online and I was hoping to have the same experience as most reviewers, but for me, the fit was tight and I wasn't thrilled with how they look (on me). I ordered the olive color, and maybe that was my mistake. It's a bit drab and looks like it would quickly show dirt. Disappointed.

This is a beautiful shoe and the olive color makes it standout in a good way. However the shoe felt uncomfortably tight around the ankle and I couldn't imagine doing a lot of walking in them because of it.

These boots are comfortable for my wide foot, and look good with straight/bootleg pants as well as leggings/socks. And waterproof! Sadly, though, they're going back. The higher front feels odd and limiting when walking, and the little tap sticks out. Love my Merrell Travvy boots.

Fit normally and had a very comfortable sole. The tread was fantastic and I wanted to keep them for that alone. However stylistically I think they're ugly, especially with the front tab, and they're a half/full inch too short to hide leggings like I wanted. These are being returned but they were comfortable and the sole is great.
