I needed a warm and waterproof boot to wear to Germany. Out of the box these boots were warm, dry and oh so comfortable. I wore them EVERYDAY of my trip (10 days) for upwards of 18 hours a day, and they did not fail me. Being vertically challenged, I liked the heel as it is the typical heel height for my shoes, and the tread got me from 2200 ft. altitude to 3600 ft. altitude - in the snow.

I looked through so many "booties" before deciding to try these. I have low arches and am dealing with a ligament issue with my toe so hesitated to try new shoes. From the minute I put them on, they were super comfortable. Great arch support, nice heel and cushiony. LOVE them!

I love these boots so much, I bought two pairs, one in brown and then black. I have a lot of feet problems; osteoarthritis in my left foot so I need comfortable shoes to walk in. Love these so much.

I love these boots. I agree with another review that the treads don't show nearly as much as it appears. They are super comfortable and will serve well for warmth and style.

Comfortable, no "break in" period and stylish. I never spend this kind of money on footwear- so glad I did.

Beautiful look and style, true to size fit, great support for my feet, and I feel like I could walk all day in these shoes. I’m thoroughly pleased with my choice.

I wore these right out of the box for a 4-mile walk through very muddy, wet, uneven conditions and they were extremely comfortable and my feet didn't get wet. I certainly wouldn't fully submerge them in water but they held up well in muck. The heel is a bit high for actual hiking but they are really comfortable and sleek looking. I do hope they hold up better than some other Merrell boots I bought and loved but the heels wore down quickly (on two pairs). For the price, I would hope they last at least a few years.

I loved these boots but were just too high for what I have been wearing.For everyone else...they are very comfortable weatherproof boots.

I have three pairs! After wearing the first pair for a year, which included life on a mountain as well as seven days walking miles and miles through the streets of NYC, I thought it was time to get a new pair of mid-high boots, but wanted to try other brands. After exploring boots made by other companies and a couple of pairs made by Merrell, I finally decided that these Chateau Mid Pull boots were the very best of all. Great style, incredibly comfortable. I now have them in all of the available colors. Perfect!

Oh, Wow! Straight out of the box comfort is almost unheard of, but here it is! The arch support is unbelievably good. Where have these boots been all my life? They look great with leggings, which is what I wanted them for, but they also look great with jeans. The heel was higher than I thought it would be, but there isn't a problem because there is great ankle support and stability. I will be getting another color.

These boots are perfect! Exactly what I wanted. They arrived in two days . They are attractive, comfortable and lightweight enough to wear inside too.

Very comfortable! I don’t even feel the heel height. I started with a 1/2 size larger than my normal size to accommodate a thicker sock but it slipped too much in the heel for me. Returned and got my normal size. With a lightweight hiking sock they are snug but not uncomfortably so.

These boots are an engineering masterpiece. Due to aging foot and back issues, I now have to be cautious about the structure of shoes and boots. These have perfect arch support, cushioned insoles, flexible bottom soles with a perfect heel height, slip resistant, waterproof - an overall comfortable boot with a dip in the back to allow for ankle movement. Also at the top of the list is that they are so good-looking. They look great with skinny jeans and leggings. I have total comfort with every step and I receive lots of compliments. I ordered the dusty olive and I plan to order them in merrell oak. Thanks Merrell and Zappos!

Beautiful boots! Gorgeous color, super comfortable and fit my high arch narrow heels feet. May buy in another color as well.

I am in LOVE with these boots. Right out of the box, my feet were in heaven. I have a history of plantar fasciitis, knee pain, etc. and the next morning, after wearing them all day, I felt wonderful. The traction is great and the heel height is perfect and extremely stable. I personally think they are great looking too. I am getting them in another color!! This is my first experience with Merrell and I am so pleasantly surprised.

These went on my feet as soon as I received them. They are a true size 5 B & fit perfectly with a thin sock. I wore them all afternoon & evening walking all over town. Can’t Complain! Very cute & comfy. Waterproof leather & the Merrill brand is why I bought them. They have reliably great products I never regret buying.

Great brand. Fit well and comfortable. My bf thought these looked the best on me. The heel was a bit too high for me, since I usually wear flats.
