Comfortable right out of the box. True to size. Rugged, but more attractive than a hiking boot. Perfect for traveling.

Love, love, love! Cute, comfortable, stable. My husband has commented a couple times about how cute these are and he never says ANYTHING about shoes. Can’t wait to see how they hold up to winter!

Love the fit! I love that there is a cut out in the back that allows your ankle to bend backwards comfortably .Very comfortable right out of the box!

I wear a 39 in other shoes and this was perfect for me. Very comfortable first day.

I love these boots! I took them out of the box this morning for the first time and put them on, it's now 9:30pm and I'm still wearing them. I've been shopping and to a 4 hour potluck with friends and my feet are still happy. I have the most difficult feet ever and I'm amazed at how great these boots feel. I wear a size 6 and I bought a size 6, I'm wearing them with lightweight Keen hiking socks. They're super cute and I've gotten lots of compliments already. I bought them in the olive.

Great little boot. Quite comfortable for walking, and feels stylish and cute - a great choice for a waterproof shoe or boot! Highly recommend. Very supportive.

LOVED these, but needed something less casual. Merrell footbeds feel like someone is holding the arch of my foot - so solid and supportive.

Good grief, these are OUT OF THE BOX, COMFORTABLE! I mean, I put them on after a looooong day and they felt wonderful! I suffer from neuropathy in my feet and have trouble finding anything that's immediately perfect. I'm already considering buying them in a second color. I bought the black so far and they look super cute with jeans!

I love these boots. They are super comfortable and have a really ggod tread for ice and snow. The only downside is the cutout on the back of the ankle allows snow to get in. These are not designed for deep snow, but even for a few inches the snow can get in easily. I love everything else about them and will wear them throughout the Winter!

This was a wonderful bootie - great Merrell quality and very comfortable footbed. The sole was extra thick and would be great in wet weather. However, the opening at the ankle was so large that the overall effect was like a rod stuck down into the shoe. Also rubbed a lot at the upper foot and ankle. Had to return.

These are a fantastic boot. So comfortable right out of the box for all day wear! I can’t say that often. Bought the olive green and love it. Very pretty but want all the colors because of the comfort. You can’t go wrong with this cute boot.

Just what I was looking for! A stylish, comfortable, waterproof boot, that is also good when it's icy. I gave the boot 4 stars becuase the insole isnt very cushy. Still a great boot, Zappo's never fails me!

True to size. No problem getting this bootie on and wore it for hours after getting it out of the box. No break in time. I have high instep. I like the side zip and generous toe box. Merrell makes similar lace-up short boot, which is a little narrower in toe box and $10 more. Don't notice the lower-in-the-back styling. Dusty olive color is neutral and very nice.

So very sad to be sending these boots back. I have a very high instep, they don't come in wide. They appear to be a very quality item. The green color is really nice. I couldn't even put my foot in this boot. I also ordered the tall ones in black. Same problem. They look terrific. Really seem to be very quality. Wish ordering in wide was an option.

I just got these shoes and LOVE the color and style. It may be age because people say your feet get bigger yet I'm thinking sizes have changed too; but I think I should have gotten a half size bigger. I don't like to wear really thick socks but I can only wear a thin and what might be considered a slightly medium sock with these booties. And that thicker sock makes this a tight fit. I will keep them but I can wear a thin sock only. I walked my dog for 1.5 miles and they felt good for the most part; maybe a little tight to the left of center on the top of my foot, not quite where the zipper starts on the right foot. This bootie is more fashion than utility, I'd say. When I think of Merrell's, I think practical and slightly cool but these are more cool than useful. Again the color is what sold me but I would suggest the company add a little more room in the tight opening at the top although they will probably look awesome with tights for that reason. See? You won't wear these hiking but if you got stuck somewhere in the sticks, you'd be okay.

At first the fit felt perfect, but when I made a couple of steps, I felt pain at the instep. Not sure if it's due to the shoe being too narrow (didn't feel narrow when standing still), or it's just not enough amortization on the outsole. Sadly, sending the shoes back.

I made my last pair of Merrell short boots with a bit of a raised heel work by putting in an extra insole, a project that took some work to get it right. There is something about where the raised part of the boot sole inside leading to the heel is abruptly short and leaves my arch in mid air. Both the ones I kept 3 years ago and these have the same issue. This one also somehow leaves the ball of my left foot in a position to irritate my mild Morton's Neuroma. Shoes that do this aren't going to work for me. Much as these boots are cute, the discomfort is not worth trying to fix. I am looking for a boot that just feels good from the start.

I *really* wish these came in a wide. They are very cute and the support is awesome but the toebed is just narrow enough to be uncomfortable and going up a half size means slipping/rubbing on the heel :(

I really wanted to love these as a cute weatherproof bootie to wear with jeans. They looked nice with my straight leg jeans, but not so much with my skinny jeans. I have very small ankles and even with bunched up wool socks and cuffed jeans I looked like I was swimming in these.

I love these boots ( the style, the cut, the comfort) HOWEVER they are HEAVY boots. The will probably be good for snowy days but for everyday boots..they're too heavy

Love the style! I ordered my usual size 6 but it was really tight. I ordered a 6.5 (still too tight) and then a 7. I would have bought the 7 except for the odd color of the leather. The quilted part was black, but only the leather on the size 6 was really black. Both boots in size 6.5 were this odd looking black - almost green. The leather on the size 7 was the odd green on the left one but looked black on the right. I would keep them except for the weird black color. Plus, they were packed as though someone had returned them. The packing was all there, just very messy. A couple of the shoes I've ordered lately has been this way. :(

Nice looking waterproof booties. Higher heel than others, but still pretty comfortable. The quilted top is cute, but I found the ankle area rather stiff and was concerned about comfort wearing it all day. I also tried the Ugg Benson Boot and decided to keep that one instead.
