Really liking these boots so far. They seem to be well-made and the anti-slip / waterproof features are great. The only complaint about them is more with Zappos in that the color Major/Cordovan on this site is shown as a dark brown but what I got was way off - more of a pale brown / gray. Doesn't look bad but the toe and heel have this dark gradient to them that is way more accentuated with the pale color of the shoe. Going to keep them but check out the same shoes on Amazon for an accurate representation of the color. This isn't the first color difference with Zappos purchases for me. Attaching the image from this site compared to an image I took of the shoes.

Perfect fit. I usually wear 11 in most shoes and 11 fit perfect. Really like the color (which varies slightly then what is advertised). Light brown/gray that transitions darker brown at the toe. Soles are tan. Very comfortable and appear well made.

Fits perfect (size 11) and has good arch support, which eliminates third party insoles. They give a solid feel and are super comfortable. I’m going to be loving there shoes all winter long!

Hi there! My shoes sizes have been all over the place lately as I've gotten older. When I measure my shoes at the shoe store - I'm a solid 10. When I wear Nike's I'm a solid 10. However, when it comes to VANS - I'm a 9.5 - and then things get trickier when I deal with CLARKS and other boot companies. With Sorel, however - a size 9 seems to fit my seemingly size 10 foot perfectly. Not sure if there are others out there who run into BOOT SIZING TROUBLES - but if so, I'd order at least a half size smaller than you normally wear / or if you're foot is narrow -a whole size less than your true size. This was a very nice looking boot, but so many problems came with it! The first pair I bought was a full size too large; the size 11 felt like a 12. I returned it and ordered a second pair a full size down in a 10. These fit great but, as a preview said, the actual color was light gray and not the dark brown. I kept then anyways and wore them on a trip and almost immediately on one of the toes the sole started peeling away from the boot. After the trip I decided to return the boots to order a new pair (thank you Zappos customer service for making this a breeze!). The new pair they sent was now the dark brown color and it felt like a size ten, which was a full size too small. All in all the boots were nice looking, great for walking around Europe for three weeks and kept my feet dry in the rain, but the sole and the sizing was so frustrating I'm opting for another pair.

These are well-made boots. I usually wear a 10 wide and these fit just right. Easy break-in. I specifically wanted waterproof boots for an upcoming trip. I did not want insulation. I’ve been wearing these walking the basset and they are performing well.

These boots are stylish, immediately comfortable, and appear to be of good quality construction as you would expect from Sorel. The waterproof feature is something I plan to test soon, and was a factor in purchasing of this particular boot. Some things to note about this boot: As other reviewers have mentioned, they ran a full size too large for me. I've worn a size 10 shoe for the last 30 years (very occasionally a 10.5 or 9.5). I originally ordered the Madson Chukka in a 9.5 but even that was clearly too large so I have replaced it with a 9 which fits well, length-wise. I cannot remember the last time I wore a size 9 in any shoe. Conversely, these boots run a tad narrow. My foot is on the wider side of 'average', and if this boot were any narrower it would be too tight for me. People with a true 'wide' foot will need to look elsewhere. The arch support is modest - certainly more than I've experienced in UGGs, but much less than a typical sneaker for example. Finally, the boot is a little tricky to put on and take off; getting my foot to 'turn the corner' requires completely loosening the laces. This may improve as the boots break in and loosen up. Overall I'm pretty happy with this purchase, especially at the discounted Black Friday sale price.

They fit great! I wore them for four straight days and found I was comfortable out walking, standing or sitting. I wore one night with jeans and a blazer and thought they stood up to that outfit really well.

love these boots! got my first two pairs a couple years ago on Zappos after I spent a ton of time looking for a boot that was tough enough to wear on an occasional jobsite but also nice enough looking that it didn't literally look like a work boot. these are great and very comfortable. I have the black and cordovan pairs and have worn one of them every work day for the past two years. i'm pretty hard on them and they still look good. buying my second set of them now as they are still the best looking casual/all around boot I've found. well worth the money and they are well made.

Materials are top notch and the comfort is excellent.

Ordered a few different pairs of boots in search for something that would be work-suitable during the cold, snowy winter months in the city. While these were extraordinarily comfortable and seemed to have great traction, they were a little too thin to be winter boots (certainly not without some heavy-duty socks). The style of these boots was more suited to a chic-casual Fall look. The laces in particular give them more of a military-inspired vibe, making them less than ideal for the office. The color options and suede texture also leaned more casual. Overall, would highly recommend as stylish, waterproof boots for Fall (as long as you cared for the suede!). Just not what I was looking for.

These shoes feel great. They are very comfortable. I did follow the reviewers advice to go a full size down. I would normally wear a 9.5. Went with the 8.5 and it fits perfectly, however I have a normal to narrow foot. I have only worn them a couple of times, so I can't attest to their longevity, but so far they are exactly what I was looking for.

One of my favorite pairs of shoes. I had to order a full size smaller though. I usually wear a 9.5 in Nike shoes but had to get an 8.5 in these Sorel chukkas. Other than the sizing being a little off they are amazing shoes.

This chukka fits perfectly. I normally prefer Ariat, they just fit well. I really like to suede especially in tan. I get lots of compliments on tan suede boots. These are a winner.
