They aren't super stylish, but are super easy to pull on, warm, and comfortable. Unfortunately, they started leaking within the first month and I wasn't hard on them. The sole is pulli g away from the leather and let's in water even just walking in wet grass. Oh well.

I had high hopes for these boots. They looked perfect for my needs and I associate Merrels with a certain comfort and quality. These are simply disappointing. Fit is fine in terms of size, but boots are just not comfortable. I almost returned them, but hoped I might be able to wear them into the comfort I wanted. No luck. I'd skip this one!

These have less cushion than my other Merrels. I had to take the cushions out of another pair of Merrel shoes to make these comfortable for me. Very disappointing.

I just totally loved the way these boots look and when I'm just standing in them they are so comfortable. I tried 2 sizes -- one size was too small so I kept the other. As it turns out they're just too loose and are really uncomfortable. I'm pretty disappointed. I'm going to try inserts to see if that will help.

I was disappointed with how they looked on my feet. Seemed too wide appearing. Fit ok, but I sent them back.

I sent this pair of boots back as they were very big. Normally I wear a 7 or 7 1/2. I ordered the 7 1/2 with the intention of wearing thicker socks. At the same time I ordered the same size in a non lined boot. When I put them up next to each other and this boot was at least an 1-2 inches longer. When I tried them on I was swimming in them. Can't really rate it appropriately as it has been over a week and I have yet to receive acknowledgement of the request to exchange for a smaller size.. Hopefully that will come soon. I'm surprised this was a true to fit size for others, the size 8 was very big on me, heel lifted up in the back when walking and too spacious throughout the shoe. I would usually never wear smaller than and 8 and they are now out stock in their 7.5's so Im disappointed to have to return this boot. They are otherwise beautiful and seem very warm and comfortable if they did fit true to size.

I bought these boots a couple of weeks ago following a happy purchase of 2 other Merrell boots. However, I find this pair to be stiff, hard o the inside, and a poor fit. I tried various pairs of socks, but my heel still rose out of the boot as my socks moved down, resulting in blisters that kept me homebound for a couple of days. The back of the boot has little padding to protect the heel, and there is nowhere on the boot that conforms to my foot to keep the boot in place, except oddly over my toes. I suspected that somehow my feet were to blame, although the 8 in the other 2 pairs of boots I recently bought fit, but I reread some reviews and see that others have had the same problem. I rated them a 2 because the appearance is nice and they pull on and off well. I'd return them if I hadn't taken a few walks in them seeing if I could break them in, to no avail.

I bought a pair a couple weeks ago thinking because they were Merrell they would obviously be comfortable..not so much. Super stiff around the ankle but loose with no way to tighten ( toogle seems to be for show only) My socks ride down EVERY time. Very awkward and clompy, definitely Not good for distance walking, never mind hiking They look good tho =_=

I am definitely disappointed in this boot. I wear Merrell shoes all the time so I ordered my usual size. This boot is very small, both in length and width. Unfortunately, I am a size 11 so I could not go up a size as others suggested for a better fit and was taking a chance that the suede might have some stretch. It doesn't. Additionally, the falcon color online in the short version of this boot is not true to what was delivered. The falcon color is very gray. I should have looked at the taller version which has a more accurate color online. Also disappointing is that the fur is not white or off white as pictured. It is more tan which does not look good with the gray. I would be careful of the fur color even with the black boot. These were exactly what I wanted in terms of the tread and ease of putting them on, but I probably will have to return.

Two times I slipped on pavement wearing this boots. I was terrified, even up to now when i get off the train i make sure that i have to step very carefully coz i dont know why this boots is too slippery on anything that you stepped when its wet...

So cute and well made. Just too big (wide) and somewhat heavy.

The boots are comfortable and roomy enough for thick socks. Not a, 'go to boot'. A loop is needed to maneuver my foot into this boot and not even my little finger fits into the loop. One, 'small detail', sends these boots to the Goodwill.

Not very warm my toes are cold in these boots. Very disappointed as I have 2 other pair of Merrell boots that are great They are very short and not very much support for long walks in the snow I do not recommend these boots if you are a person that likes to have warm feet and enjoy the outdoors

the top is too stiff rubs against the shinbone would not have been able to walk in them

They are narrow and was not able to wear comfortably. The plastic lining to mold the shape dug into my leg and ankles.

I couldn't get them on my feet. Had to return them.

the upper sole is tight and feels like cardboard. not very supportive. i expect more from them. i have had really great boots and shoes but these are not.

This is the coldest Merrell boot that I have ever bought...and I have other styles in my winter shoe closet.
