These boots are very comfortable and warm. I bought a size larger than I normally wear and am glad I did, they fit perfectly wit warm socks. I bought these boots in the first part of December. I live in rural Montana and maybe am just tougher than most on shoes. I wouldn't recommend wearing them as daily wearing boots. These are my concerns: 1. They didn't stay waterproof, in fact they were so bad that just after Christmas I had to re-water proof them so they were still usable. 2. The rubber is starting to come apart from the soles so they will need to be glued and parts of the leather stitching is coming apart.

These boots are comfortable and easy to get on. The tread performed fairly well in slushy snow and ice, but do still slip sometimes. Not perfect but good overall.

Really like these boots--warm and easy on/off for going in and out of the house. Fit true to size.

Toe area felt awkward with lots of space between toes and top of shoe.

Great for those sloppy winter days when you have a lot of running around to do. Easy to put on and take off.

These might be the most comfortable things I've ever put on my foot that wasn't an Ugg style. Can't say how it does in the cold as I never wore them outside... had to return because I wasn't crazy about how much my ankles were exposed to the elements. Many people won't have a problem with this. My guess is they're amazing in the cold. They would have been perfect in the cold warehouse environment in which I work, but shoveling 2' of snow would not have worked.

I really like these boots. They are warm, very comfortable and do keep my feet dry (so far have worn the. In light rain and snow and slush). I normally wear a narrow show but the majority of boots never come in anything but medium or wide widths. That said, with a pair of heavy hiking or cold weather socks, they fit perfectly with no slippage. Only cause for concern is how long the fastener will last as it is attached by, in my opinion, too few stitches and not sure how much strain the wrap-around elastic strap will put on it over time.

Needed to return and order a half size smaller than my usual size as they were too "sloppy" on the foot. Not as easy to pull on as I'd hoped (the loops aren't big enough to easily grab). Maybe with time they'll loosen up a bit to pull on easier. Cute though!

Nice boot. Wish it were fully lined. Slipped a little on one foot causing blisters. Good sole. Waterproofing seems effective. Not much arch support.

These boots are comfy and sturdy. Easy to get on..I would only suggest a better way to close the boots so snow doesn't get in the boot.

Nice looking, warm boot. Well made. Runs a little big, but nothing heavy socks can't fix. Only have worn them once and already complements!

Very pleased. Look stylish and very warm and comfortable. Run slightly big, but I can wear thick socks without my feet fitting tight at toes.

I loved these boots. comfortable and warm but are overly slippery on ice...more than other merrell boots I have owned.

Just delivered today but sadly will need to return them because they don't provide enough support, which is the primary reason I buy Merrell boots/shoes. I also found them to slide on the heel (as someone else noted), even after pulling laces tighter. The sizing is true to size. For wearing thick socks you might be happier with a 1,/2 size larger. I walked around inside on carpet briefly wearing wool socks. My feet didn't feel warmer. Again it's a good shoe just didn't work for my foot.

Fits well. The closure is all elastic. Im dissapointed. Its comfortable but im afraid when the eladtic wears out, the boots will be useless.

I really like the warmth of these, the slip on design, and the price point. I walk on city sidewalks and roads mostly. I've had good grip in snowy conditions and feet stay dry/warm, but when the sidewalks become a sheet of packed down ice, I am still sliding all over the place and it's very hard to walk, but I guess that's a risk in any shoe. The main downside and 3-start rating of these boots is the stiffness. I think I have normal proportioned feet, and yet the upper of the boot feels unusually stiff. Like the top of my foot was actually getting pinched when walking because there is no flex in the upper. I decided to keep the boots to give them time to break in. It does seem to be getting more comfortable with wear, but still tight on the top of my foot. I normally wear a size 6 and bought a size 6. My heel and toes land in just the right spot, and so I don't think sizing up would have been a good idea.

They look great and the size fits perfectly but inside the boot should have a thicker cushion & more fur. They seem to be lacking a soft, thick, lininghaving a rather raw, bare-bones feeling.They aren't comfortable as their appearance. However, the sole's possess good treads and are great for walking. However, I will need to break the boots in a bit as they're a tad stiff. They're easy to tug on using the back loop but don't just slip-on. I bought them to wear as rain boots but it hasn't rained yet so I don't know if they're waterproof or if the rain will stain the leather. I'm not sure if I would recommend buying them because they aren't made as well as most Merrell's for this price. If they keep my feet dry & warm during our southern monsoon season I will be happy just because I like the way they look. I did read the reviews for all boots available before purchasing these.

Fits true to size. However, definitely not enough cushion for long walks.
