I'm not saying they are great on ice. They are not. The label that comes with the shoes clearly states that these shoes do not take the place of crampons or cleats....I would have liked to know that before I bought the shoe! The product information on the website certainly implies that these shoes will be totally secure on ice. And that is the only reason I bought them. Anyway the shoes fit great, they are easy to slip on and off, and are super comfortable. They feel like my feet are surrounded by memory foam pillows! And the sole does have great outdoor traction, as long as you are not on ice! I think they are really attractive too. So even though I must use them in conjunction with my Yak-trax, overall I am very pleased.

I bought a pair of the Coldpack Ice+ shoes for my 81 yr old mother because I worried about her crossing slick parking lots at the grocery store and gym. She LOVES them and said they were worth every penny! No problems walking across a semi-icy parking lot or on the painted lines that were wet. Her feet didn't even slip on wet brake and gas pedals. They were comfortable enough to wear all through the store while shopping which can be a challenge for her. I would love to order a pair for myself but don't think the medium width would work for me (I normally wear an extra wide) and I'm beyond wearing a size too big to accomodate for the width.

Love this shoe. Would like to see in a wide sizes. I have not been able to try the shoe on snow because I left SD for AZ. However, I have been walking up and down steep hills and haven't had a problem. The shoe is very comfortable.

Super warm, and great on snow and slippery surfaces.

Now that winter is here, complete with plenty of snow and ice, I've had many chances to wear my new mocs in the conditions they are made to handle. They are great! They grip just fine (I still walk carefully, many years of winter walking experience), and they are so comfortable. As a bonus, I love the ease of slipping them on and off for quick trips outside, so I wear these even for minor trips to the mailbox, out back with the dogs, through the shopping center parking lot and such. I feel much more protected when I wear these. They're plenty warm, too, so far so good. I often take a wide width, so took my chances on these since they only come in a medium width. The fit is perfect for me and the comfort is incredible. Love these!! Thank you Merrell!

Alaskan here - these are the BEST THINGS EVER for me. We tend to have icy parking lots for 6 months. Easy on & off - perfect & comfortable to run errands and shop. They provide excellent grip on ice and snow (even when walking a 100 lb dog)

I feel more relaxed and confident walking on potentially slippery surfaces in the icy cold Michigan winter. This shoe is built to last for many years!

Shoes are comfortable and true to size. Traction great in ice and snow.

I haven't tried them on ice but they grip as well as my Uggs. They are comfortable.

This is my second winter with these shoes. I love to wear regularly. Even this week I recommend these shoes to 2 of my friends. They are very happy with thier purchase. Very light. Good traction Warm Water proof Easy to wear What else i need in term of confortable shoes!

Have bought these shoes for 2 winter seasons now, great shoes. This style did change a bit but still worth the money!!!!

My husband and I love our new cold pack ice moccasins. Now I feel safe walking down our sidewalk to the car, terrific traction. And they look much dressier than previous shoes of this type. My new must wear winter gear. Thanks Merrell.

These shoes stopped my foot pain. The arch makes these shoes fit like a glove! The top part of this shoe fits higher than I realized but does not cause any problems.

I've owned some Merrell moc's for years that are suited to dry conditions, so I was eager to try these moc's that are designed for winter/ice/snowy conditions. They are of very high quality, look sleek even in my large size, are not heavy and really grip in ice and snow. They are a little tight for me, but I'm sure they'll stretch after I wear them a bit just as my old trusty pair has done.

Love the arch support, the fit and the grip on snow. Although the heels were a bit loose (a common problem for me), heel pads made for an easy fix. Like the look of these mocs, too, more than my prior jungle mocs, which I also liked.

The shoe fits true to size and is very comfortable with good arch support. The sole is good for snow & ice and wipes clean. Wish there were more color choices as I would buy more.

Ice Mocs really do grip icy surfaces. Easy on and off make them something you don't mind slipping into for that trip to the woodpile; or, taking the dog out when icy.

The shoes is very comfortable and warm even when I wear thin socks. I wore it during snow and it makes me feel so confident walking without fear of slipping and it keeps my feet dry. It is made to last and the cushion inside is so soft. I bought this so I can wear it when I go abroad this March. Will be wearing it all time during my trip This will be the only shoes that I will bring with me as it is so comfortable and it looks nice. So easy to slip in and out of my feet.

Great boot for the winter. Easy to put on, keeps your feet warm, has lots of support and is waterproof. Also easy to keep clean. Highly recommend!

Good all-around shoe. A go-to for all-day walking.

The sizing changed on these. I had an old pair that I wanted to replace, and it took 3 tries to get a pair that fit, despite ordering the same size and model. The material is also not quite the same, but these ones do fit and are comfortable.

Little did I realize how much I was going to love these low rise slip on boots. After being hit by a car and breaking my right arm these boots have become my best friend when I need to go to a medical appointment or run an errand. They are easy to slip on and off and have a good grip. Plus I love that they are a light weight.

They're sturdy and a practical shoe. I have not worn them out yet so I can't say anything of real substance.
