Needed a quick slip on for taking our new puppy outside. These are perfect! Fit is snug out of the box, but I expect they will loosen a bit with wear.

Living in a northern climate this shoe is great. The Artic grip works great and the waterproof membrane keeps your feet cozy and dry (after you shovel !! )

My third pair, I never get tired of Merrells. Great treads. Ease of slip on, with style. Street wear to my office.

Hands down, the best winter show I've ever worn. Perfect for those days when there's a layer of ice on the sidewalk. Or you just don't know what the conditions are out there. And it seems that those days are more frequent up here. Even wore them out on the frozen lake several times and didn't slip once. Have really reduced my need to wear ice cleats. Not so great in the snow, too short. But perfect for every other day. I have other Merrells too but have been wearing these almost every day for the traction.

When I opened the box I was thrilled. The quality and craftsmanship are great. They are so comfortable to wear and I love the look of these shoes! I have not had the chance to test them out on ice, but winter is not over yet. I showed them to a friend the other day and she wants to order a pair for her. No complaints and they will last for a very long time. Awesome product!

I have been searching for a winter boot that I could also wear in professional settings. This shoe definitely fits that bill. A lovely color and style, and one that I feel comfortable walking around the snowy/icy streets of Chicago (go Vibram!). It doesn't have the height to keep out large amounts of snow, however, I wasn't expecting it to perform under those circumstances. I find it true to size (I am 7.5 with narrow heel); I initially thought it might be small with thick socks, but it loosened up (to me, a snug but comfy fit). It is also pretty warm. I'd certainly buy another pair.

This is a great slip on and usually if I slipped a bit on hiding ice the anti slip soles stopped me. I only fell once when I was a bit cocky. My friend also purchased these after seeing mine and she "loves loves loves" them.

Easy to put on, comfortable to wear, seems to help on ice though haven't been on smooth layer yet.

What I like about Merrell is that the sizes run true so I can order on line what I can't find locally.

These cold pal ice moc waterproof shoes are perfect in every way. I continue to be 100% pleased with each Merrell shoe\boot product I have purchased over the past many years.

I just got these to replace my 5-year old Merrells that looks pretty beat up. The soles are MUCH better for snow and ice: I live in a city with brick sidewalks and these feel much safer. They also look a bit dressier. I'm thrilled with these shoes and relieved that I didn't have to "break them in" - very comfortable from the start.

The features of this shoe attracted my attention as it protects you from slipping when walking on ice now I feel more confident when walking our dog under these circumstances. The shoe is extremely comfortable, warm and easy to put on.

I really like these shoes. They are a great combination of sturdy and supportive yet very comfortable. One thing I really like is that they go on very easily, I don't have to bend over and pull them up at the back, just step into them, the back of the heel bit doesn't get bent over at all, yet when they are on they fit snugly and the heel doesn't slide up and down. Not sure how that is possible! They aren't really what I would call cute, but they are unobtrusive enough, and certainly practical here in this snowy icy New Hampshire winter. I except to get many years of use from them, they feel so well made.

Everyone says it correctly! These shoes are amazing, comfortable, look good and fit is great. They even work well on ice & snow !

These are the Merrells I have been waiting for. Merrell have always made a very comfortable shoe but when I went to Venice with my original pair, I was slip sliding on the wet stone back-streets. These Cold Pack Ice Merrells grip like the finest tires on the market. The tops are waterproof; the bottoms are glide proof. I highly recommend them.

This shoe provides me w needed traction w easy mic styling.

Although not quite as grippy as the crampons I put on my hiking shoes, these Coldpack Ice soles let me walk the dog without going through all the effort of the crampons. But, better yet, they are actually very comfortable on my aging feet with a number of pain issues. I liked them so much I bought Merrell boots with the same sole a couple of weeks later.

I live in MN and have worn Merrells for years. This is my second pair of winter mocs. So much easier to wear than boots, my feet are always dry, only get a bit cold when outside for a couple of hours. They run thin and wish I would have gotten wides. Also, are bit clunky and wish they had a little more feminine design. With that said, I only trust these on most winter days. I let my dressier boots and shoes wait for fall and spring days.

This will be the 3rd generation of this shoe I have used since I had a fall on the icy parking lot where I work. No falls since or even barely a slip. The warmth and comfort is uncomparable. In fact I still use the first pair I bought 5 years ago for snow shoveling when conditions are messy. They do not have the higher tongue on the top arch of your foot that I have seen others review with a negative sense and I must disagree. It takes some wear to loosen to your individual comfort but it adds extra warmth and better fit and stability. I can't believe I am reviewing a product before I even receive it. I know this product very well, I live in it for 5 months out of the year and after looking at the pictures I know this has been updated to be even better than before! Thank you Merrell for making my life easier and more comfortable with this excellent winter shoe that performs like no other!!
