These Merrells, similar to a few other pairs of Merrells that I own of the same style, have developed an annoying squeak. I love the shoes, but now every time I put them on, I have to consider where I am going to be. If I am inside a building walking down a hall, everyone can hear me coming. If I'm outside, no problem.

Have worn Merrell's for years, but this was my 1st try with the Moab Moc. It felt a little loose and not particularly sturdy, and with some reviewers complaining about their Moab's not holding up well, I returned and purchased the Dunham Battery Park.

I,ve had 3 or 4 pair of this shoe and love them. This time they felt narrower than usual so I just bought a wide pair. Back in the saddle. Don't know why I couldn't fit in the usual pair though. Maybe its my age and feet have changed.

I've worn Merrill for a number of years and this pair doesn't measure up to pairs I've had in the past. Doubt I'll order another pair.

I always wear a 10.5 in shoes. I tried a Merrell on in the store and the wide width seemed to suit my foot better. However, I tried this shoe with a 10.5 wide and it was too big. It was sliding off my heel. I then tried it in a 10 wide, and it was way too short. My toes would hit the front of the shoe. So I'm guessing I can't wear this shoe.. I may try a 10.5 regular width, but am not sure how many times I can return a shoe without getting flagged for shoe abuse.. :-)

I've been wearing Merrell's Jungle Moc shoes for years and love them. I tried these Adventure Moc shoes based on the reviews here, but I don't like them nearly as much. Even though the size feels about right in terms of length, they seem wider than the Jungle Moc shoes. More importantly, the opening seems wider than it should be, and they don't stay on nicely when I walk. The heel rubs more than I'm comfortable with. They're quite comfortable when standing or walking around the house, but there's too much movement when walking significant distances. I've taken to using them as indoor shoes.

Style is too 'boxy' looking and too big; my foot slides around inside the shoe.

I have happily worn successive pairs of these same shoes for several years, first in size 0.5 and them 11. Now, neither size fits snuggly enough to stay on my feet when I walk. They slip off around the heel as I lift my foot. I’m very disappointed.

There are two different shoes in the box with two different finishes.

Merrell has changed this shoe. The design is slightly different in appearance and fit. The last style from a couple of years ago fit like a glove out of the box. This iteration is sloppy in fit and the leather seems different somehow. Same size 12M. I returned them. The old style had a "M" on the back and the opening is different now, too. Still may be a good shoe for you (the old style is awesome!) but they didn't fit my feet.
