I bought a pair of these before Christmas. The shoe performs well looks good. But when I walk there seems to be a sort of air escaping fro left shoe. Not sure if it's the shoe insert or what but it is very annoying. Not really sure if I should try a different insert I see Merril sells them or if I'm just stuck.

The Moab Adventure replaced a pair of Moab Rovers that I had for several years, which was a very comfortable walking shoe, but is no longer available. The Adventure seemed like a comfortable shoe in the beginning, but after a month I noticed the right shoe was slipping up and down on my heal causing some discomfort. Long walks with this shoe is not likely. Right now I would not recommend this shoe.

These Merrell Moab Advevnture are great looking shoes. Although they claim to be waterproof and they are to a point. However the tongue is not webbed so water could get in the toe through each side of the tongue. My main issue is fit. The left shoe has a hard spot that hurts my heel. The right shoe does not have the hard spot. I can't wear them very long. I tried different soul inserts, even double inserts but nothing helps. Defective design or manufacturing flaw? I wore them alot but breaking them in did not help. Too bad. Really nice looking shoes.

I bought these to replace a very similar pair that finally wore out last year, mostly they just stopped being waterproof. These appeared to be the same shoe but definitely aren't the same quality. The old ones were comfortable and easy to wear. The new ones have a sole that is stiffer and harder. It feels like I have a board for the sole and I've worn them now for several months; they're just not breaking in. I'm even wondering if they could be counterfit instead of actual Merrell's. They sure don't seem like Merrell quality.

These shoes are the size I had to purchase to have a comfortable fit. I wear size 11.5 Medium Mens US in all other brands that I have purchased.
I had to buy 11.5 Wide Mens US to get a comfortable fit in Merrell's.
With that said my right shoe is falling apart quicker then my left shoe, however both have significant internal damage at the back of the heal on the inside. I've owned these shoes since 09-2018 they started showing signifcant damage at the back of the heel on the inside by 12-2018 and now I don't wear them that often as a result.
Even though my previous Merrell's were a bit to small they at least lasted a year in a half. I don't go hiking, I simply use them for walking typically on paved surfaces 99% of the time.
I mainly bought these because they are waterproof and mostly black. A totally black option would be nice.
I am going to consider a different brand next purchase which sadly will be sooner then I expected for what I thought was a quality shoe.

Heavy duty shoe with a lot of weight. I was looking for something that was a lighter then this shoe.
Ran large then my normal size, which I felt was unusual for Merrell.

Unfortunately the Adventure Lace does not have a billow tongue and cannot claim to be waterproof as water will seep in the side of the tongue. This is a major design flaw by Merrell and is their only "waterproof" shoe that doesn't have a billow tongue. Cost cutting or screw up? Otherwise they're quite nice kit.

Bought mine about a year ago because they were very comfortable and advertised as waterproof (not water resistent). They made it through the first wet Vancouver winter but not the 2nd winter. Haven't worn them a lot so very disappointed my feet are wet in any rainy weather now. Can you recommend a product to make them waterproof again.

Totally unfit for purpose as waterproof shoes as the spongy wide tongue clearly has no membrane and lets every little drip of water straight through to your socks. Would be hopeless in heavy rain with waterproof pants.

The left shoe was too tight in the toe. It felt about a half size too small. The right shoe size felt correct however the right shoe was manufactured poorly. When placed on a level surface it did not sit flat but had a pronounce inward tilt. The left shoe was perfectly flat when placed on a level surface.

I always purchased Keens, thought I'd try Merrill's. The first hour of wearing them my feet hurt so bad. Had to return them. Bought another pair of keens instead.

I bought these because they are sold as waterproof. They even have a tag on them that says that they are waterproof. They are not! I wore them this morning in the wet grass and my feet are soaked. I would not recommend if you are looking for waterproof. They are also falling apart in the front.

After six months of casual use, the stitching on the inside of the shoe has come apart and left a hole in the side of the shoe. I has hoped this wouldnt be a running trend, but my other pair of Moabs had the sole fall off after only wearing them twice.

Not what I expected, the tongue is sewn in which causes tightness across the top of foot.

Shoes felt tight overall didn't think they would loosen up enough, and didn't look good on my feet.

I got the first pair of these a few years ago. After 15 months, the entire seam on the inside came apart, but they were "out of warranty". A year later, I got the same shoe. The panels on the side are arranged differently, so I thought maybe the problem had been addressed. This new pair is much worse. Three of the seams are coming undone. They are single stitched. You know better! No more Merrells for me. Don't buy these, you'll get screwed like me.

The soles in this style are the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. I have only purchased Merrill's for the last umpteen years, was very disappointed.

This shoe runs small. I wnted to return it, but I wore it outside briefly and, even though there was no wear,
I was prevented from sending it back. Totally unfair in my opinion.
