i have a big toe that has been broken 3 times (i know, i know)... needless to...i say the break in period on new boots is usually a tooth gritting experience! not with these boots. wore the things right out of the store and walked in them all day. zero toe discomfort. zero "break in"... im actually a little in disbelief as this has been a lifelong issue...and i never write reviews btw and i wasn't asked to write this one... just had to...

These boots are comfortable, fit well, offer warmth and waterproofing in snow and freezing weather, provide good support and footing, have durable but pliant leather and strong laces.

Bought these for my husband's birthday. They are a perfect waterproof boot between his MOAB ventilated hiking shoe, and his heavy winter snow boot. We walk 3-5 miles on trails every day, and he loves them. I love the look too.

Excellent shoe. I chose it because I wanted a wet winter boot (had new Bean duck boots) that was waterproof, warm AND comfortable. Bingo! BTW, the full leather upper look made it compatible with company office wear.

As a partial amputee, I have tried every kind of boots seeking comfort. For this reason, I have worn Merriells exclusively for 14 years. They always fit and feel great. No break in period required. These boots are no exception. I will always wear Merrells. There are not many absolutes in this world but that is certainly one for me.

I have 12W feet. Hard to find shoes my size. Thankfully Merrill gets it. I walk 2 miles a day and live these boots. I walk in the rain too and these boots are definitely waterproof. Keep em coming !

Too be honest I have been buying Merrell shoes for over 20 years. Some times I buy the same style in different colors. I have never had any problems with Merrell shoes. They are well made and last forever. The comfort & fit are always perfect for me.

These shoes look and feel great. They are comfortable right out of the box. They look good enough to wear on date night, but are tough enough and comfortable enough to hike in all day. And they are waterproof. If you want a great looking, comfortable shoe that will last you longer than a year, buy these. You will not regret it!

Over all good but size runs big

I unpacked these and laced them up. Fit is great and comfortable too. Wore them on a rocky, steep mountain trail in rain showers. They kept my feet dry and warm, and performed well on the treacherous trail surface. Yet the boots LOOK great as casual wear around town.

Excellent Utility, Style and Comfort. This mid-ankle boot feels like a shoe but performs as an all-terrain hiking or duty boot. The Moab Adventure Waterproof delivers what is says and keeps you dry in the slog. I have two pairs, one in black and another in brown and wear them throughout the Winter months and rainy season. They perform well and look great.

Are these a true BROWN? I ordered before and got a dull green which I love. I have the Black and the Dull Green just need to know if these are true Brown. LOVE THE BOOT - Can wear ALL day even at 57 years old.

Just like all my Merrell footwear - these boots fit perfect right out of the box with no break in period or sore feet. Very well made and excellent materials. And I learned recently that Merrell stands behind their products without and monkey business. Thank you Merrell!

I have been wearing Merrell products for over 18yrs they never fail. Right out of the box comfort . I work where I have to do a lot of walking Merrell has always been my #1 choice of all kinds of footwear.

I have had this boot for several years and ready to buy another pair --Its an excellent boot and despite what you may have read-- it is waterproof. Just worked outside all day in slush amd after 6 hours my feet were dry. Look, like all leather boots you need to take care of them and putting some mink oil on them from time to time will hep the boot maintain its water resistance. Boot size does run about 1/2 size smaller than what i normally wear but otherwise I had no problems with this boot and neither will you --it's a Merrill--
